I like the 1987 fly, but I seen 2012 one, its more advance but I grew up with original one. I thought it was cruel of writers to make donatello destory the z computer. And leave Baxter in limbo for rest of series, alone, imagine if that was you? You'll go crazy in soitary prison thing too with no one to talk too, but its not real, I was a kid back in 1993-94 when I seen it. I'm 43 now..I remember age 17 I was excited to see shredder and krang again at middle last season 10. But I didn't knew it was end of TMNTs until last episode where donatello had to go to wrecked technodrome to get krangs robot body just to stop dregg, lol
Also for the wasp April there is a kinda bad movie named "Wasp Woman" which had also a remake during the 90s just like "The Fly". In my eyes " Wasp Woman" was just a bad ripped of "The Fly".
I never knew that the original plan was for Baxter to become an ally to the Turtles! That does make sense because he is portrayed as a fairly sympathetic character in that first storyline. Great video as always!

Wow I never knew that Baxter Stockman was going to be their ally as he sorta was in the IDW comics temporally when he became mayor, I think this was a missed opportunity for him appear in the episode Night of the Rouges and see him interact with his twin brother, you definitely need to do a video on the 2003 Baxter Stockman as Cyborg and also the 1987 Leatherhead and Rat king especially that Vietnam veteran theory.
It's funny how in the last live action movie he looked like Professor Clump... who had a transformation that at least from an appearance standpoint was positive.. yet closer to Baxter's Comic Personality.

Yeah, I recently rewatched S01 and he seems like a very sympathetic character. I was surprised when he was an out and out bad guy in S02.

Me too! He's actually one of the few villains that I feel sorry for.
In IDW, maybe you could say he was split in two figures; both the black sort of "neutral" alignment and the white "good" in Harold Lillja.
This is definitely my favorite version of Baxter Stockman, and the vintage toy is in my top five.
