For those who don't want something a little bit more daily driveable that is still a very good tire on the backroads, I'd go for Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Been running these tires for a while on my 128i and PS4s are a great great tire for someone who isn't doing trackdays every other day but like doing some spirited driving even when it's wet or a little colder
How do they handle in the wet? What's the treadwear like? Those are the important questions we need answered in a tire review for those who are genuinely considering buying these..
In the wet like shit only lasted me 2 months pieces of shit haha don’t buy them unless you track the shit out of your car and don’t care about replacing them in a month
Thabz Moyo yeah I was really harsh on them but these tires basically are for your spare car that’s only for tracking and fun not safe for a daily drjver
I’d love to see a Prius run them😂 I want them but, I don’t have a daily that would use them and all it’s potential. If I tracked my daily weekly, then I’d buy a pair
if you guys ever decide on reviewing another tire .. can you do it with proper specs and information. Alot of unanswered questions here.... What's the UTQG of the tire, grade, treatwear, handling(wet), etc.
If you’re getting tire aimed at grip the cost is treadlife- this wouldn’t even get 15 thousand miles. As far as wet handling goes it’s a slick tired and the lack of sipping determines that it will underperform in wet conditions as a pose to a more conventional 4 season or 3 season tire.
This is gonna hurt some feelings and yes go against the data stated. I’ve road raced for years, I buy and go through a lot of tires. Of all the tires I’ve run, these are literally the worst especially for the big price tag. I’ve run these on a modified zl1 1le on street and they could never hook up and felt like crap compared to the Goodyear supercar 3, which for the record I’ve never liked any Goodyear product, but loved these ones. drove 1000 miles and gave them away. For the money there is so much better, my all time favorite is Toyo r888r. Michelin makes some of the best quality tires, for whatever reason sport cup2 are so overhyped it’s not even funny, I even ran another set thinking something was up. Never again, they will put me in a ditch.
Any chance in future tire reviews you can talk about wet and dry handling characteristics a but in depth when compared with other major competitors in the space? The video was super cool, but ultimately didn't realy help me decide if I want cup 2s on my daily
Of course! 👌👌Are you still running the stockers? If not you should totally add this bad boy to the gallery if you havent already! -Edgar www.fitmentindustries.com/add-wheel-offset

Can you possibly get more info on the rating of the tyre.. for example Porsche rated Cup2 has N0 or N1 ... Mercedes AMG has M0.. does that mean the M0 has a stiffer sidewall?
11,000 to maybe 14,000 if you’re lucky(no track). And when they’re done the tire wires all come out to say hi. They’re trash $2,000 down the drain Note: used on a Shelby gt350
The better tire is the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 , with very similar grip levels OR the Supercar 3R's for even greater grip and both feel superior to the Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire. Michelin uses a soft sidewall that does not offer great initial turn-in. The Goodyears are so much sharper AND handle heat WAY better. Also the Michelins Bi-compound sounds great in theory, but in real-world that outer edge with the softer compound is gone WAY before the rest of the tire is.
Guys, I just ran out of tires for my R34 GT-R so do you guys have some suggestions. I have 730 whp/wheel horsepower on so I need a tire for summer, winter and rainy situations. Thx ☺️
Ok, who the f**k is copying who? Is Gels copying Alex, Alex copying Gels, or was the decision made, to speak the same way in videos, at the same time?! Haha! Keep up the cool videos guys!
The Michelin "VELVET SIDEWALL" ?!?!?!? It's amazing what "car guys" go for nowadays. When I buy tires for my sport cars , I check for tread design, sidewall construction, how many miles the tire is expected to last, and reviews on the actual performance of these tires on the street , track, rainy conditions, etc. I recently watched a review on the tire you just talked about. Apparently, the outer edge groove design used for right front and rear tires is the same design used for the left front and rear tires !!! That looks very weird to say the least. And ,consequently, it causes accelerated or premature wear on the outer edges of the left side front and rear tires. After watching that video, I'll pass on these MICHELIN PILOT SPORT CUP 2 tires. I can definitely forego and do without your "velvet sidewall" look. NO SALE !!!
For me Everyday Driving / Few Track Days = Continental Extreme Contact Sport Every Day Driving / Many Track Days= Michelin PS4S Only Track Days= Toyo Proxes R888R / Michelin PSC2
Awesome. Doing a giveaway for a product that if something goes wrong with, you can’t get any support for it because the company decided to file bankruptcy so that they wouldn’t have to cover anyone’s warranty work that come up during the pandemic. Awesome.
Ok so I have a question related to tire pressures. I own and drive a 2018 Ford Focus RS that came with a set of PSC2 the tag on the inside of the drivers door seal recommends a tire pressure of 46 psi for both the front and the rear. So my question is. What the heal toe am I supposed to go by? The tires recommendation, or the one on the tag/sticker inside the drivers door? Unfortunately I’m no longer on the PSC2s but I guess it’s still relevant to what I have on there now. Could I have gotten more life out of my PSC2s if I had gone by the tire manufacturers recommendation?
The tire sidewall will tell you the max psi for that tire. Always go by the door placard on the vehicle for the recommended air pressure as long as your still running the stock tire size.
How is this a "review"? Nothing but a promotional video reading off of Michelin's script. Yeah, I know you're a dealer, but how but some integrity? At least don't call it a review.

You can find that on the Michelin website but true
If you’re getting tire aimed at grip the cost is treadlife- this wouldn’t even get 15 thousand miles. As far as wet handling goes it’s a slick tired and the lack of sipping determines that it will underperform in wet conditions as a pose to a more conventional 4 season or 3 season tire.
R.S. Lozano actually summer tires do great in wet weather, all season tires are focused on winter weather traction.

These tires are overrated. Don't waste your money. If you track your car there are better options that are more predictable and last longer.
