I didn’t notice any issues with the Switch during his big particle attack. This was quite the interesting final fight. Kept me on my toes the entire time.
It works perfectly on Switch. In fact, I can’t recognize the Switch version from the PC one since they look identical.
Same, there’s nothing wrong with this game on the switch..stop throwing shade at the system this game was originally placed on people. If it was such a problem they would never have ported this game to the switch..Jesus Christ.
@@gamecavalier3230 this too is true.
Same, no issues here and I was playing it in portable mode. I wasn't expecting to literally get clapped by one of his attacks when I first fought it. Had me laughing my ass off for bit. It's definitely one of my top 5 endgame bosses for sure.
That's wild, it was chugging my switch down bad. His whole fight and Gore Magala's big particle attack hit it hard. I play on a 2 year old switch lite though, that definitely has something to do with it.
Honestly not a complaint though, with it being on PC and switch (and with me playing on both) I'd rather have it be a little more than switch can handle, it looks phenomenal on PC.
I call him George :)
He’s definitely one of my favorite final boss fights so far, I think it is my favorite dragon final boss since Miralis, though Nakarkos and Ahtal Ka still take the cake for me.
i hope in future updates if there comes a new story we get to explore some underground where gaismagorm lived
I personally really appreciated the fight with Gaismagorm but I think that it gets annoying or a bit boring when you do it multiple times and without Fiorayne to spice the fight up. I think I overall enjoy more the fight of Narwa/Allmother Narwa because it does better usage of the wirebug mechanics in brillant way and because it is harder and more interesting to me. I do believe that Sunbreak’s story is way better however and the deception of finding that I wouldn’t be able to fight the two Serpents in super powered state was a bit sad. I am an Insect Glaive player so for me fighting Gaismagorm is flying in his back or on his arms while fighting Narwa is doing cool moves to keep up with the floating Serpent that attacks me even in the air with interesting moves. My favorite monster of the expansion was without a doubt Malzeno.
Switch Player here.
Didn't really notice any major performance issues with the fight, to be honnest! Was a great fight, I was expecting a zombie, but a literal Demon is a great concept for a Monster that fit with the theming.
Sunbreak final boss is like gogmazios but can’t fly don’t you think?
well yeah same skeleton from the magala specie
Yeah I thought the same thing too
yea, the 6 limbs skeleton
My personal rankings
4. Garangolm
3. Gaismagorm
2. Malzeno
1. Lunagaron
Love that moon doggo
All I can say is malzeno = vampire GG = Frankenmon lunagaron = werewolf gore = enigma shagaru = fallen God gaismagorm = archdemon sunbreak = symbolism
Also if you dont think he's based off the devil with the music, weapons, armour and title.
His open mouth is straight up a pentagram
The first time I fought this I felt reminded of the annoying giant monsters, like phase 1 Shara, Akantor and base Gammoth. But the more I fought it, the more I enjoyed it. Especially because it has beautiful and powerful equipment.
Negative affinity fans unite!
Also, he’s classified elder dragon. You can kinda see that he’s an paraplegic Ibushi.
Definitely fun and a large monster done the right way with much of its body available to hit and you dont spend the whole time slashing at ankles like other large monsters. Also very cinematic and that last phase requires your A game or he'll cart you in an instant. It held up fine visually on my docked switch, at least playing solo. The developers really worked some magic to get this game to run as good as it does on switch. Also I thought Narwa was really fun but I didnt like how it spawned those turrets and cannons, that was just weird and contrived how it spawned weapons for you to kill it with.
The switch has no problem with that fight keeping the 30 fps at all time
I'm 50/50 on the gaismagorm fight. I loved the specticle, and how it kept powering up, but all of its attacks were so slow they were easy to see coming and dodge/counter. I don't think a final boss should only cart me once on my first attempt. I also wish they kept the mechanic from the first phase where you knock of its crystals, as after that it didn't feel like it had any unique mechanic.
Switch player here it runs fine
While I'm not a big fan of the design of the final monster, I absolutely loved the fight itself.
As soon as i saw him i was like what in the pacific rim is this crap
But jokes aside he is a very very cool monster
run's fine on switch
I got dlc of sunbreack were do go to play it? I have rise we’re? About to play sun break
You need to get to HR7 or something and Rondine will show up near the entrance to the village to kick off sunbreak
You have to have beat story narwa which is HR 7 in the gathering hub in base rise, and then rondine will show up in the front of the village to take you to Elgado.
The icon on your switch will look like Monster hunter Rise still, it doesn't change to anything sunbreak related.
Bring back Akantor and Ukanlos. To have the complete group
I feel the Furous Rajang afflicted is going to be the worst for me.
How long must a game be out before you can spoil a game?
Personally I thought the final boss was okay, a great spectacle but very easy with abit of a scripted fight
Second fight gismagorm is pretty lame without the followers
INSANE-ly boring…
