I'm using LRP kid's sunscreen. I thought it was great, but the alcohol smell and the low key burning (not stinging) around the eyes is too much. I use neutrogena sheer zinc (not so sheer) around the eyes and it's perfect except for the white cast on my pasty skin. I really want to find a good chemical sunscreen but have yet to find one I can use on the eye and neck area without irritation/contact dermatitis 😩

A while back ( I can't remember exactly how long ago) Dr. Dray did a sunscreen recommendations video where she talked about the Olay Complete UV365 Daily Moisturizer Spf 30, oil free and formulated for sensitive skin. I've never particularly been interested in Olay product. I kind of always viewed them as being targeted toward an older age group. Anyway, I've gone through at least a dozen bottles of this stuff. I've tried several others since, even Korean and higher end ones, but I always go back to this for daily use. If I'm going to be out and about I use something a bit stronger. I'm oily and acne prone, and this gives me no issues in that department. It gives a glow, but also has a high concentration of niacinamide, which helps with oil control so I'm never greasy. It's a mixture of chemical and physical filters, so I feel like it would blend in for most people. I'm super pale, but my mom is medium olive, and my daughter is a light caramel color and we all can use it without a white cast. For $11.12 at Walmart, ya really can't go wrong. Only thing is that it's just 2.5 ounces, so I go through it pretty fast, but at that price point, I'm not really mad about that. Also, I think it's fragrance free. Physician's Formula has an spf 30 powder that I like pretty well, but like most PF products the shade range is abysmal. The Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish (a mouthful of a name) may not be as easily accessible, or fragrance free, but it's affordable at around $8 or $9. It's very lightweight and non-greasy. It literally feels like nothing at all, and it plays well with makeup.

Black Girl Sunscreen looks amazing! Did some additional research and I'm definitely going to buy it. Natural, vegan/cruelty free and safe for reefs? It looks like it blends well for all skin tones and you also get to support a black owned company. Can't go wrong with that.

YES to the Australian Gold sunscreen ❤️ The tint is too dark for me but I mix it with some of their kids sunscreen from the same line and it makes the perfect shade for me. (The brand told me to try this when I emailed them requesting more inclusive shades. Don't mix random sunscreens or you can risk them not creating a proper layer on your skin).

I was wondering though, if you might consider looking at some sunscreen products that are in non-plastic packaging. I'm Canadian, and I can get it for $20, so it actually is double the price for me and it's still so worth it. I also used to love the ThinkSport tinted one, and from a skin feel stand point, I still would. However, I'm super sensitive with scents - not in a reactive way, but in a 'I get nasty headaches and feel nauseous' way if they're too strong/linger. I didn't even fully get through the tube before I had to stop using it, which sucked.
