To make a long story short, I tried multiple things, consumed tons of advice, did some deep introspection...

Lie 1 - There's some way to "get motivation" to accomplish things
Lie 2 - We need to depend on willpower to actually get things done
Lie 3 - Setting goals
SYSTEMS > GOALS

Tip: if you’re outside (idk if you actually were in the vid or it was just a background) don’t blur out the tree and leaves, it actually engages the audience more. And also, if there are any animal/bird noises, don’t filter them out as they also make the video more interesting

thank you! i know these words are simple, but there is a lot of feeling behind them, Rishab!
Super interesting video, it’s great to just have the video to compile the info instead of wasting so much time finding all of it. Great job Rishab!
Great video ❤
i needed this right now, thanks.
Glad I could help!
"hi sir can u pls rate my ECs"
How is it that you’ve yet to hit 100k
Great video as always
He got 100K on another channel of his. @RishabJain
Hey Rishab I really hope you can give me your opinion on this. Do your extracurriculars HAVE TO ALIGn with your intended major? For me, I have a passion for changing the world through community service and other things but not sure if that would harm/benefit my application. I intend to major in Business. Thanks!
Can you make a video on creating a non-profit? Thanks!
You didn’t have to get that personal.
What do u mean by that?
3:06 "It's like brushing your teeth, you don't have to think about it" Umm, sure.

PLEASE ANSWER Hi im in eleventh grade and i want to go in STEM but my achievements are not as high as yours rather non-existant but i feel like i can do things like science fair or maybe get a physics olympiad but what im only lacking is hard work but then if i work hard will i be able to achieve what i want? not asking for a prophecy but rather a probability...do i need to be as exceptional as you are?
P.S.: ur videos are greatt
if you want to go into stem then just work hard and learn as much as you can, you dont need to have as high achievements as him, you could be self taught
You don't need to be exceptional at all. I basically failed my A Levels (exams at age 18 in the UK) and consequently went to a very low-ranked university for undergrad; actually the worst ranked in the country at the time for physics (my subject). That actually helped me because I started to get to the top of the class easily, which built my confidence and made me work even harder. I was accepted to my top choice uni/department for a PhD and have now been working ~6 years in the field doing research. You have to be pretty exceptional to go to Harvard but you don't need to go somewhere like that to have a successful career in science. Hard work, diligence and persistence are much more important. The main benefit of attending a famous university is having more networking opportunities.
Follow up is the hardest part tho 😢 what kind of system would be for wanting to get into RSI? It’s kinda abstract
One book I would recommend is Budgeting for Dummies which delves into this.
I've found that meditating every night helps me "follow up" on my systems consistently.
It boosts your mindfulness so much and will stop your thoughts about work, etc. for a short while and help you remember your systems
first lmao
but yeah thanks for the informative vid
the books are nice.

nice video
This video is great, BUT I still like setting goals. Goals can be big, as long as u make sure you achieve them. A good way to set a goal is to set one your actually INTERESTED in achieving, and that will give you more motivation to achieve it.
Systems -> Habits overpower motivation!
Goals are an investment. We need goals. The fact is, systems are inticrate methods of goals, just put together, meaning that when one part comes undone, the rest fall apart. As long as goals are being worked towards, they are perfect.
@@bigwealthpod Yes, but goals do not get worked towards magically. They get worked towards using systems. Hence, we need to focus on systems more than the goals themselves. This is huge mistake that I think a lot of people make.
@@RishabJainK disagreeable, but we’re not here to argue. Where you go wrong is just that goals are not worked towards through systems and habits. It’s a false truth in the hustle industry. The thought that setting up constant systems or habits that will consistently be worked on to get towards a goal is just not true. We work towards goals through work. The idea that we can consistently do a system to get there doesn’t work, since nobody will ever truly tell themselves “ok, time to do my system!!!” Of course not. Be real here for a sec. We work through incentives. I want to go to a top college, so I will work on this. I want to pass this test, so I will work on this. Systems are false. Incentives are real.
@@RishabJainKi really like that idea, it forces us to work instead of wander about an idealistic goal
Hi sir can you rate my ECs?
i've cured cancer and whatnoy.
nice vid
bro wildin
That’s ok, I guess. I think try and get more leadership positions, like head surgeon at a hospital, etc
@@bigwealthpod Ohhhh, I guess i will not get into havard than... I also created the sun, does that matter at all in my aplication?
@@shadowcyclonexx2.097 our solar system is overrated. Everyone is creating new planets nowadays so it's not impressive. Maybe you should create a new universe but that doesn't guarantee admission. I wouldn't put that you created the sun because it's just generic but that's my personal opinion. Good luck!
