I would say the gopro would also help when you record your details and a customer complains you damaged something, You can go back and look and show the customer that something was already there
Luke, thank you for all the great videos! As a female in this business I find i have to work twice as hard as the guys to get the same results. Your videos have taught me how to let the products and tools do the work! Keep it up! Heathre SHE DOES DET A IL
We use that exact vacuum and the addon hose kit in our detail department at a dealership and it is money. The crevice tool is amazing for getting pet hair up! Another great video!
I'm a beginner detailer. I use Meguiar's Ultimate Products. I was told by a Professional Detailer to do so. Terry details for car dealerships. He told me to use the polymer synthetic technology. So I do. My car is a 2000 Toyota Camry LE. I also use the Platinum Series Microfiber Towels I get from Walmart. As I said I'm a beginner detailer. The Camry was given to me by my cousin in 2018. I'm using my car to learn on. There are a few things I don't understand. Like using a foam cannon to foam the car first then wash it off then wash the car. In the old days people didn't do that. But times have changed. I don't put a ceramic or graphene coating on the Camry. As a beginner detailer I'm to afraid too. But I'll learn as time goes on. I also like the 2 bucket method and 1 more for the wheels and tires. Thanks much for your video.
For the past year I’ve been trying to find what type of tools and cleaners would be safe to use on my 2022 Mercedes GLE350 4matic, it has MB Tex seats which I believe is vinyl and I have to deal with pet hair from my little Pom and to make things worse my boy friend smokes in it. Just wish there was an easier way to deal with my situation in a way to try to maintain it. I know that’s a difficult ask. And almost unrealistic. Any advice?
Awesome video as always. I am looking at trying to do some detailing part time as a side hustle. What are your thoughts on something like a Bissell Pro heat as an extractor?
I can't access the free guide, I am not looking to start a business just yet, mostly want a guide to be able to help my old vehicle and take good care of it and perhaps help family. So affordable but good products. Did I miss the free guide?
After I spent $50 on various Chemical guys products I bought a gallon jug of Meguiars APC. Seems i could have saves $50 if i bought the meguiars all purpose cleaner first.
Thanks for the new video Luke! Hope you're well and staying safe! I have two quick questions for you. First: What product did you apply before cleaning those seats? And second: How do you keep the door hinges from squeaking after cleaning the door jambs? I ask because I did my personal car and I think I killed the lube to keep them from squeaking and now I'm gonna have to shoot them with WD40 to keep them quiet. Thanks!
I'm DIY. Have good polisher, rigid vacuum that I bought last year, pressure washer (must have for foam wash),detail brushes, wheel brushes and leaf blower to dry cars. Multiple towels,ik foam pro2. I use seal&shine, hydrosilex, Adam's graphine spray coating, collnite 845. I use wheel cleaners from dollar tree LA,s.
@@startingtech3900 Probably lack of communication or lack of an explanation to justify prices. If you can justify and explain your pricing and process confidently like Luke can I'd trust them personally
@@mikeypotts4732 That’s a good point. I made 500$ yesterday detailing in one day. But worked 8.5 hours. Check my newest video did a paint correction on a 80k 08 Dodge Viper SRT-10

@@mikeypotts4732 thanks my man. I’ve only been doing it for jute now the last 6 months. But have all the equipment, power washer, steamer , extractor all the gallon chemicals to dilute for big profits etc. keep at it. I actually just quit my tire shop job to do this fulltime. So far for twos days work I made 960$ way more than I would have made at the shop. Hoping it continues
This is the exact video I needed to see. I'm well past 500 bucks and am not even close to as efficient as Id like to be. Steamer is happening next. I do classic restorations so these tools are nice to have anyway. Especially now that less people are spending money on full restorations. Have done exponentially more paint correction over the last year so figured I might as well get into detailing. I enjoy detailing cars a lot. Always have. Just didn't realize how difficult work flow and efficiency is. Thank you for the long video. I'm one of the few that actually enjoy these in-depth videos haha
Luke, noticed that you use a lot of D101 Meguiars APC on the interior carpet, checking Meguiars recommendation, they don’t recommend this as it remains active, meaning wet shoes touching the carpet can reactive the cleaner and do more mess. Just checking what are your thoughts on this and if you have had customer complaining on this?
Hey Luke I love your videos and I'm a huge fan of your channel. I just brought a Mytee Lite 8070. What product do you use to put in your extractor. just looking what's a good product to use on these carpets and cloth seats.
Quick question, are those "drill brush" brand brushes or another variety. I'm only asking because those are super cheap if they are. I've personally had good results with generic versions and will likely support you either way.
Sorry but I love to watch and believe it or not I watch your vids when I was just learning. But this one I could not watch because all the mouth noises slow down a little bit.
@@bfighter125 well he calls a ceramic spray detailer a ceramic coating, when it isn’t, he uses cheap microfiber towels, and something else I don’t remember.
I have ADHD and the way you speak and present things really help. Other videos I literally have to speed up the playback because it’s too slow.
“Toyota Corollor” lol great video thanks for sharing
Oka someone wrote it 😬🤣
Luke, just bought your brushes off Amazon. Can you do a quick video about how you clean those brushes between details. Thank you!
hey man, just rinse them with warm water (preferably warm water) oder just blast them for a couple of seconds with your pressure washer!
I'll usually spray them with a degreaser then rinse thoroughly.
Luke, I believe you left out the link for the bulk spray triggers and the Shop vacuum.
