This is my first video completely based on Maya. 😅 So give this video a BIG THUMBS UP to let me know that you want more such videos on Maya. 😊 Also comment below and let me know what you want to see next for Animation in Maya.
One more tip: At the bottom of the Viewport "Show" menu you can see the "Playblast Display" Menu. This let's you configure what is visible in the viewport only during Playblast. It's helpful, because you don't always have to switch the show settings back and forth each time. One hurdle though, the "Overwrite Viewport" at the top of the "Playblast Display" has to be ON for this to work!
You're Welcome. I made this video as I was also tired of those ugly plablasts as that's a way of communicating your art to the world, so it should be better. 😊
It was available on Gumroad Page of an Amazing artist called Christoph (The Stoff) Schoch - thestoff.gumroad.com/ For some reason Link and Zelda models aren't available to download anymore. However there are some other great Rigs on his page to try
Emm ive got a problem on playblast. After i follow your instructions on it but it ended up as the video cant open. Is there any solution to bypass this problem?
In this instance playblast as image sequence will allow you to output 1080HD and higher resolutions... But you'll need to convert the image sequence to a video with aftereffects or premiere pro
@TopsonNoble Thank you for the assistance. But I did manage to change the resolution output. I set the render settings to "maintain the width/height aspect ratio" and switched the playblast display size to "from render settings" and finally made sure the Arnold renderer is activated. It's still annoying how we have to look at more than one spot just to set the resolution.
