Thank you so much for these videos. Currently I’m a student at full sail, and your videos have helped me tremendously. Can’t wait to catch up to your skill.
Loved the video, definitely would love to see art portfolios and interviews. Any insight or advice always helps and is nice to hear from other talented individuals.
Why or when would you use exposure over intensity in your lights? And what you did in this video great. More of this info. Also noting the hotkeys you use when use a tool or where to find the tool when you use it.
Would love it if you would do lighting in arnold for a cg scene. Like the one on this video. How to get the most out of nice lighting and how many is recommended and for demo reels presentation. Thanks! :)
I'd definitely want to see something about putting together a portfolio. I'm a student right now and it almost feels like I've made nothing that's presentable for applying anywhere. Currently I'm working on a 3D animation of a flour sack and it looks not too great timing wise so I'm not sure if you have anything that could help along those lines on the channel or not.
I’m so glad I found this channel 🙂 I’m using maya and need help with playblast. My sky/background does not appear in the playblast and textures are off 😔
Oh it looks cool! Hello! I am still studying very basic so this is a far far far away level for me right now. But I have a question about how can you set the plain screen on left and rendered screen on right I mean which you can see the actual light when you set light or settings on left screen.
I use two rendering engine: 1. Arnold 2. Redshift But in both of them specially in Arnold I always get confused when in comes to texturing and materials. Your this video helped Me a lot to understand Arnold lights but please can You make a video on Arnold materials where you can teach us how to create bumps and other material stuffs. It will be awesome and helpful for us to understand materials if you do it. Thanks ☺
I've been trying to get some hands on with Cinema4D, do explain the pros and cons of the softwares you work with and also I'm a student pursuing Product Design so I would love to see some videos where you show objects that have been animated to show their functionality. Thanks a lot, really liking the content that I've seen by far.
Hi sir wade, i use blender3D for 5 years now. I want to shift to maya soon. Even in blender Graph editor is a huge hurdle for me, so some graph editor lesson will help so much.
Can you please do a video on lighting like car headlights, led lights(trying to light up a keyboard with rgb back-light keys). And how to animate those lights
Hi! I love your worck. It would be really cool ir you could made a video about studing animation, like , how is the program, what you need, what you do, and so. Thank you!
Can you make or point towards any course or training regarding cgi lighting and rendering we mostly see in movies and cgi shorts animations or in other words like pixar animations preferably Arnold.
Constraints pleaaase! What's your workflow with them? Been struggling so much this week at animation mentor with them. Great tips though, super excited to implement all this myself. Love this channel
www.highend3d.com/maya/script/zv-parent-master-for-maya Learing constraints is important, but this script helps a lot if you just need to get it done :D
You are developing good content wade Godspeed hope to be able to take it to million views on future!! If videos help to learn something and something new then why not 🤞🏽🤝 😃
How do you turn off the image so that it does not show in the render but it uses the lighting like you have? Once i add an HDR image it show it in the render.
Great stuff but too fast to learn from. I feel like this is the intro to the concept but following this through menus step by step would be impossible except for where you sliwed down at the end on the playblast section. Thanks
Hi I'm in my first year on computer animation in university and I would love some tutorial on how to use UV mapping snapshots from Maya and apply texture on it on Photoshop? Would be a great video and lesson to learn! :)
what can i do to work on just animation? not very good at modeling or sculpting but want to get into animation. Are there ways to get free models to animate?
I am a future student of Animation Mentor and I don't know if taking the maya workshop is worth it or if I can learn it all myself. Please let me know where I could learn maya basics or if I should just pay for the course.

Hey Wade!
Love the channel! Would love to see a 3 part series. Maybe a animation workflow...blocking...spline...polish!

I was taught more of vray so I don't really know much about the Arnold, and I didn't think people really used it
I think the entire Trollhunters and 3 Below DreamWorks series are rendered in Arnold- it's definitely a widely-used tool in different places :)
Great tutorial as always ;D

ESET Android getting his time to shine.
Hi! This was so helpful but for some reason my 3D Rig is shiny? How can I fix this??
Check the material properties of the shiny parts - the speculative roughness is probably too low, making a glossy surface :)
thank you bro
what can i do to work on just animation? not very good at modeling or sculpting but want to get into animation. Are there ways to get free models to animate?
Timmy Trezzo there are lots of free rigs online these days. Get a student copy of Maya, a free rig and you're good to go :)
