Great review, Tommy, as always! I've always been a Mustang fan, nothing sounds like that 5.0 Coyote V8, what a great engine. But 30 MPG with 486 HP? WOW!

Hey Tommy, how about doing a video teaching all the TFL staff how to drive a manual transmission I think that video would be a success. We need to start teaching this young generation so we could still have manual transmission option on sports cars.
Twice in the video you recommend skipping the "big brakes" yet at 12:13, in a non-controlled test admittedly, it looks like the Dark Horse stopped a good 25-40 feet shorter than your base GT w/o the performance brakes. That is not insignificant, and even at more normal speeds a few feet or inches could make the difference in avoiding a collision. The performance brakes are a separate option and seem like a valid choice by way of safety to consider. Its so sad seeing all these people in the comments saying the auto is better because its faster. The death of the drivers car must be studied. Why 87 octane?
Way overpriced at $43k, for this ugliest interior
Who the heck are talking too that thinks a Mustang is the size of a GR86??? Mustangs and Camaros are everywhere, so people know what size they are. Mustangs have never been that small, except for maybe the Mustang II. You're audience here are car people, and know they're cars. So if you're talking about non car people, they wouldn't know what a GR86 is anyway.
I got claustrophobic PTSD when he got in the back seat
FYI: You drive from the front seat.
What about maintenance
So, they made it comfy and floaty. Now if only Lincoln would make a version of this
Maybe next gen we’ll get a mark 9 w/ a turbo 6 and awd. No plans for this chassis.
Bs mine gets 17 1/2 and I drive very conservatively
Those screens really are atrocious
At 12:25 you were talking about price. The first new vehicle I bought was a '74 Ford Courier in '75. It cost $3,300. For a two year loan at $104 a month. Times were better back then. 🤑🤔 Now 🤔🤢🤮😭
The interior is terrible.
So buy a mustang in a cold state in the winter.
WHAT PERFORMANCE PACKAGE IS THIS AND HOW DO YOU GET THE SPLIT SCREEN???...
The base (aka non-premium) cars all have the split screens. The "premium" cars have the single screen.
@@MrHighlyEvolved THANKS I APPRECIATE IT
I would rather buy the s197 to me thats a mustang
stop with the archive, g wiz man
They call 7 months long term review lol 🤣
I can't afford it, i just got married ... get used to that.
Shouldn’t it be a job requirement at TFL to know how to drive a stick? It’s not that difficult to learn.
So same price as Lexus RCF (5.0 V8). Doesn't even compare. Ill take the Lexus every time.
Excuse yourself from this discussion, This is about Camaro and Mustang. who cares what you drive?
@@allanbieger7523 i don't drive an RCF. I would chose one over a mustang or camero though. I like those cars, they just don't hold up as well.
you have a great manly voice man definitely adult
Long term review doesn’t mean 7 month old! 😒😒
That mofo got married lol
If you’re saying fun is more important than the extra performance parts, that sounds like the perfect argument for the manual transmission. The money you save on skipping the automatic would pay for the, just for fun, switchable exhaust.
Its so sad seeing all these people in the comments saying the auto is better because its faster. The death of the drivers car must be studied. Nobody lives on track or street races their car everyday, so being the fastest does not matter. Only if you care about being able to say your 0-60 time is this. Its about the driving experience, the base gt auto feels so soulless. Its about the driving experience, how connected you are to the vehicle.
Wow that interior is awful! How can a interior designer like and approve that!
I like the base. It’s a mustang. A muscle car. Seeing a luxurious interior in one of those is kind of weird to me. Like a poser kid in high school trying to be something they aren’t
Exactly. Premium in a Mustang isn't Premium to the rest of the world, it just means slightly less cheapo and better audio to drown out the rattles that pop up after 3 months.
This guy doing the review on the mustang obviously came from a Toyota Prius😂
why the hell these disgusting displays!!!! old btfl speedometers of mustangs... lost
Keep crying. You probably type on your screen all day on Snapchat. Get over it clown
