Callway drivers are a little bit longer in shaft length due to their adapter size. I test both drivers, messed around with cobra weights and added some lead tape and dropped spin and tighter dispersion. F9 wins all day for me due to price and sound.

I have watched all the golf driver reviews and they are so similar. Maybe a driver will get me 2-3 yards more but 95% of the par 4's I play are under 400 yards. If I drive the ball 270 or 273 what's the difference? I am going to have 130 or 127 yards to the hole big deal. I went with the Cobra and don't regret it. I can use the extra money to play more golf. Side note: If you take out the 2 high spin shots for BOTH the F9 and the Flash you would get the same 288 yards of carry and virtually the same spin (2,370 for epic flash and 2,452 for F9).

I’ve tried both now and the f9 is nice but the Callaway definitely spins less on mishits and is more forgiving because of this. But both are very nice, still holding out to try the new Pxg gen 2 since the price is now about the same as the Callaway and has some great new tech in it.

Interesting. 108 swing speed is a good avg for us. im about 3-4 more mph on average. both really good drivers. i like the look of the flash better at address to be honest. but the feel and sound of the f9 is unbelievable.

Results are so close one has to give the Cobra a very close look when you take price into account. Most major brands have moved prices up substantially so it is great to see Cobra delivering value. Another plus for Cobra in their Cobra Connect system of tracking your shots. and they offer to put this into your non-Cobra clubs when you buy a full set of irons.

Getting the f9 in a a week in the half and cant wait. I have gone to the store and tried all of the new drivers. I do believe that the really is not a comparison club to club as far as performance, because everyone could hit a club different than the person making the video. But I feel cobra has the best technology out there for a far better price than their competitors for more technology. I dont want to get stuck on technology but with the more technology I feel you have better fitting than any other club out there. That is my personal opinion not stating that it is right and someone else is wrong but that is my opinion and belief that I came to by testing the recent drivers to pick the right one for me.

It's all about shaft had smoke in all three drivers and tried numerous shafts in all but found evenflow green 50 stiff in epic way better than any shafts i tried in Tmade and cobra. Picked up 5mph ball speed and 9/10 yds more from epic over my current epic. Cobra a fantastic driver but not for everyone that's why we get fit as figures don't lie. just a note. i totally realize why you use the same shaft.....however as i have found with the smoke shaft. it is too high spinning for me on many heads but not all heads. so sometimes the best comparison is to find the optimal shaft for each club then compare. i personally ordered the cobra after finding with a lower spinning shaft ck white pro...i liked the cobra better when spin numbers were optimal on each head. I ultimately decided to game outdoors with the weight back...with spin around 2400...indoors 2000 all day weight forward..id rather find the fairway at 300 then rough at 310....

I don't have a dog in this hunt, as I have a rouge, But at the begining of the video you state you have the same shaft in both clubs for a fair compare? I believe that can really mess up a compare, here's why unless both heads are the same weight the shaft will be different relative to the head. Heavier heads work well with counter balanced shafts but light heads do not or maybe that is backwards, but I know you get my point..
I would like to see a fully fitted Driver 1 compare to a fully fitted Driver 2. Thus i guess the obvious. Get fitted to know for sure. Irony is I myself have not been fitted just took a 565 speeder sflex and stuffed it in my Rouge and gained 30 yards and lost my slice, just got really lucky.

If you purchase driver for $500-$600 & you play a lot of golf, with let's say 110 mph swing speed or faster, how long will the face last before cracking. 1 year limited warranty & hard to get replaced. Durability is not an issue that is addressed by all the reviews. I can tell you that the Cobra milled face is very durable, 2 year using F-8+. The Mizuno driver has SP-700 face, which is a very strong titanium compared to A4LV, which is used on a lot of club faces. Sp-700 is more expensive & has a better tensile strength. A club costing that much should last at least 5 years. Trade offs, fast face that cracks in less than 2 years, or durable face that lasts longer & performs great. 3-5 extra yards is not worth spending the $600 twice. To me this is a no brainer, do your research on what your buying.

Seems much talk about "price" & "value".
F8/+ were on sale for 40% of the price of the new F9 a few weeks back, there may be 1% to 2% gain on perfect hits, that won't translate to any score change on a course. All very well inside on perfect level mat with launch monitors but real life won't see that 1-2%.
