Tata jointly owns Starbucks in India and they own the Himalayan water bottle brand, they own TajSats India's largest Airline catering supplies food to every airline, owns AISATS India’s leading player in airline gateway services, owns Taj hotels located near airports, and own buses, and trucks used for travel/supply owned Tata Motors.
Thus they control the supply chain.
And now they own Air India, and the merger between Air India and Vistara has been approved.
Fun fact: Vistara is a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines (51/49).
I dont mind monopoly if they provide quality service
@@saikatsaha4122Their name is synonymous with Quality and World Class in the service sector. The owner is also the biggest philanthropist who has donated billions and made meaningful generational changes for the masses.
Now THIS is a what you call a detailed and comprehensive airport/flight review. Thanks for sharing...
Thank you!
Vistara looks so refined in nearly every aspect of the flight experience.
Yes! I love it!
T3 is a good passenger experience and that Holiday Inn can be a layover lifesaver. Thanks Patrick :)
Totally! Thanks!
*TATA and Starbucks have a 50-50 Joint Venture (JV) in India. Every Starbucks store is being run and operated by TATA. Therefore, the availability of Starbucks specific beverages in the flight.*
I used Vistara the last couple times i was in India for in country travel in business class. I thought they were very good and mostly on time. They reminded me of Jet Airways of the past. I'm hoping that Vistara service will be adopted in the new organization. It would be a great improvement for Air India. Regarding CDG I avoid like the plague. Be thankful you got your bag. CDG is one of two airports that have lost my bag ( the other is Schiphol). Frequent travelers in Europe know this. I have flown a little more than a couple million miles on star alliance and American and i can count the times i connected in CDG of Schiphol in one hand.
Yea it was a bit of a zoo for my first ever CDG experience. Being Star Alliance I find myself in Frankfurt more often than not when transiting in Europe. It may be crazy but they seem to have things a bit more dialed in
I thought i will be bored for a 45mins video..but surprisingly it was a nice one. Very detail about the products of Vistara. About CDG airport it was always a problem. Specifically the immigration lines. I don't think the French govt is doing anything on that issue. Keep it up Patrick!
Thanks man! I appreciate it! And it seems like CDG immigration could have been better with the installation of the automated gates for EU/US/Canada/Mexico……. If they would just open them 😩😩😩
Will only touch CDG if I have to land in Paris directly and I have business to do in Paris. If I’m transiting I’ll take KLM or Lufthansa
27:34 Tata Group, which is the parent to Vistara, also holds the franchise/distribution partnership for Starbucks in India, to whom they also supply beans.
If Air India can match the service standards set by Vistara, they will be onto a winner. Nice video!
I doubt they can and will….
There is no need to match standards when Vistara will eventually merge into Air India
Disagree -
It will take 3 years, but Air India under Tata will match n in some cases exceed in the level of experience n expectations.
@@jaivora423 hope so!
Mergers are a challenge and this will prove no different as the airlines operate if very different ways (at least from the passenger standpoint), so there will be a lot of integration. The best hope is that Singapore Airlines has a stake in it, and they are known for their service on a global scale, so if nothing else, they at least can provide the consulting
As far as CDG goes, both times, I had the privilege of flying with Air France in their La Premiere offering. I was able to essentially "cut the line" with my AF ground service and whisked between terminals on the tarmac in one of their Citroen luxury cars. Definitely not the cheapest way to go, but was very nice to bypass everyone. Love your content and narrative on all your videos, and always look forward to your next installment!
Thanks a bunch! You’re a lucky man to be in that La Premiere seat. I’m looking for bargains on that basically every day just in case a good deal pops up and still can’t find it 😩
@PatrickSheaAviation it's cheaper to buy business class and then upgrade !
Great video man. Loved the jet airways take off bit in the middle. thanks for sharing that. You deserve more subscribers!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it
@@PatrickSheaAviation are u also a pilot?
@@MrPerfusionist yep. That’s what I’m doing most of the year when I’m not travelling
Wow..awesome would be an understatement for the effort you took to make this video!
Thanks man!
Excellent video. I have subscribed and will look forward to more videos . Amazing detail.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
What a fantastic trip report ! Thank you so much 😊
Thanks !
Another awesome 10/10 travel video by Patrick👍✈
Thanks man!
Love your your choice of background music! Perfect match!!
Thanks!
You did a very nice review of this airline which I had never heard of. I would definitely fly them. Thanks for the introduction.
Absolutely! That’s what I’m here for.
Another very good flight review. I must say that these are amazing to watch while eating. Keep it up!
Awesome! Thank you!
As a long-time avgeek and aviation enthusiast (who’s also done a part of his flight training), I really like your positive attitude and thorough coverage of all aspects of flight (esp. departure and arrival).
Of course, the fact that you covered Indian aviation only made me subscribe post haste. Cheers mate! Looking forward to many more such videos.✈️✈️
Thanks man! Good luck on your flight training! It’s a great journey man
Nice video! BTW Starbucks was also bought by the Tata group for India operations. Hence the coffee!
Dude, you and the Flipflop Traveler set the bar for all other RUclipsrs making vid reviews. I like noel phillips,, Jeb, and the others (except Sam Chui), but they dont even come close. Excellent good job amigo.
I appreciate it!! Thanks!
I don't know anybody brave enough to admit to liking Sam Chui. 😅 And yet he gets millions of views. Go figure.
The Holiday Inn Express in T3 is a fun little hotel, but so expensive and a pain to get into from landside.
That was a culinary adventure. All the international flights I've taken serve food that is familiar to travelers. Vistara took catering to the next level - I would have left the flight knowing I experienced a lot of new dishes. That makes the flight all the more memorable.
Totally agree. It was wonderful!
I would recommend blurring out your boarding pass if not at least the bar code.
Why?
@lis7932 u can get literally all your personal information out of a boarding pass including passport numbers and shit
I agree. But it looked like he had scribbled over the eticket number and some other identifying number so that you won't be able to access the details.
Hi boarding pass was used and cannot be used again because the bar code is only valid for that flight on that date. What's the problem ?
@@aussieaussieaussieoioioi9450 all what shit ? What are you going to with his passport info when you don't have his passport ?
You're spot on with your pronunciations of Indian dishes from the lounge. Vistara was the next big thing for an Indian carrier but it was short lived. One of the best videos I've seen for Vistara's long haul flights. Thank you for making these videos. Also quick question, what do you think about think about Air India's new livery? Greetings from India.
It reminds me of Virgin America, they were getting everything right in America, but they weren’t big enough and eventually were bought out by another bigger airline. As far as AI’s new livery, I have mixed opinions… I think it looks nice, but it feels almost like a complete rebrand and doesn’t seem to resemble Air India’s current look/product, although maybe that was their goal 🤷♂️
@@PatrickSheaAviationas an Indian i'm glad AI ditched the age old Indian look. To be fair, the current livery reflects disgust and is a shell of its former self. The new AI livery is almost like a hybrid of Air Arabia and Iberia. The new livery reflects aspirations, boldness and a new India in the world stage. All that Palace BS was long gone in the late to mid 90's and was just a farce up until this point. However, in the end of the day it's the interior of the aircraft that matters and the service if it can reflect the Indian/Taj style hospitality (i mention Taj because Taj is a globally renowned hotel brand owned and operated by the TATA's which is industry leading) and not the exterior.
11:04 - THAT is the way everyone should board economy class. From the back to the front. I really miss that --- Cathay Pacific used to do that in the 2005-2015 era (I haven't flown Cathay since).
It’s totally efficient, but everyone wants to get on board as soon as humanly possible 🤦♂️. It makes sense for people who need overhead bins but other than that you might as well board in whatever will get the door shut faster
Great long-winded video of your flight to Paris. It was mouth watering seeing all the food displayed there. Ye CDG Airport, been there 5 times connecting to and from Nigeria since I was young. It can sometimes be hassle going through. Idk about what it's like now as it has been 7 years since I've been there. Taxied past the Concorde twice when I was on Cityjet's RJ85 which makes it look huge. A lot a has changed since in 2011 and 2017, where there were loads of passenger 747s, few of AF's A380s and their A340-300s.
Thanks! The food was amazing!! And yea it sounds like CDG has had the same struggles for quite a while. It’s cool to have those memories though! I’ll be in Nigeria in a couple months actually! So I’m looking forward to that
@@PatrickSheaAviation Going back to my second country I see. I bet it’s Abuja or Lagos again.
@@MerkyAviation11 it’ll be Lagos this time. I’m trying out Air Peace, but I’ve also heard some great things about certain parts of the city so I figured I’d spend a bit of time there this time
@@PatrickSheaAviation You will need luck on Air Peace as I’ve heard stories about them. Anyways enjoy Lagos and be careful there 👍🏾.
27:28 Starbucks is ran in a 50/50 partnership with Tata in India! 😁
I just heard about that. That’s super interesting
Thank you so much for this review. This gives us a better idea of our flight next year. Hopefully the merge with Air India will not affect its service level.
I am nervous about what the post-merger life will look like. At least AI is being re-designed as well
I feel the same way!! Fingers cross!! I will post my travel report video after my trip. Once again, thank you so much for this video!! @@PatrickSheaAviation
Looks like you had a great time.
It was great!
Another great vlog.. its been years since I flew via CDG and that was only to and from London when immigration wasnt so bad. A solid J product from Vistara a shame they are merging as no doubt some of the flaqir will go but crew will do their utmost to have that Vistara touch. It will be silverwesr roulette though to see what you get Vistaras or Air India snd no doubt a combination/
Thanks! Yea it’ll be interesting to see what kind of products live on after the merger
So nice video ❤ lots of love from Indian's 🇮🇳, make more videos on Indian carrier....
Thank you! India is always a great time! I’d love to get back and try out more Indian aviaiton
The duty free cart is cute, the artwork is lovely. Nice seat. Glad to see air vents. Nice cabin over all. Food sounds enthralling. Nice review.
Thanks! It was wonderful!
Your reviews are so detailed and I love watching the videos. I do however have to point out at 26:53 that is definitely a chapatti and not a garlic naan. The menu at 18:00 says "Breads - Choice of Breads" so nothing was specifically mentioned as the different types, however Naans are never folded this way, though chapattis are. Feel free to correct my comment :). Vistara looks amazing.
Good to know. Thanks man!
Thanks for another great and THOROUGH review. (I think the thoroughness of your reviews is one of the features that distinguishes you from the mass of flight reviewers.) A couple comments: Surprising that the Indian government is permitting the second biggest airline in the country to be merged, effectively, into the largest airline, as it sounds anti-competitive, and I would expect a government to raise an objection on that basis. As for the business cabin, I completely agree it looked beautiful and distinctive on first impression, enhanced by the lighting, and it reminds me also of Singapore's product. Bonus comment (with a firm tongue in cheek): Unlike you, I generally choose NOT to watch airplane TVs while sleeping. I prefer to be awake for that experience.
I mean I’d guess the merger is a little different since they have the same parent company, but I do agree it’s a bit odd to see the two largest airlines becoming one. Now we just gotta hope this product can stick around a bit longer after the merger
@@PatrickSheaAviation Oh sorry, I guess I didn't catch the already-existing connection between the two airlines. I suppose that does make a difference, as it could be questioned how much they are competing with each other as opposed to just targeting different shares of the market.
Neither is the largest airline in India. That honor goes to IndiGo, which has something like a whopping 60% market share. Air India (with AI Express) and Vistara combined account for 20%. So, actually, it makes sense to allow consolidation of second tier airlines to break the stranglehold the market leader has.
@@tally1604 Thanks for that very helpful context. Many years ago, my very first international flight (from New York to London) was on Air India, and I have never had occasion to fly them again. But I suppose that experience gives me a bit more interest in the airline than I would otherwise have. I had barely heard of Vistara before this video from Patrick. I have heard of IndiGo but have not flown them.
Was waiting for you talk about the legendary CDG staff at security and immigration. That's reason why I never fly to CDG even though now we have a direct flight from DFW.
Immigration was a nightmare!! It took hours and all because they only had one or two kiosks open for all arriving international passengers… so the agents were all tired and frustrated as well
A great video .... thank you but a minor correction ..... Indigo is the largest airline in India and Air India and Vistara are much behind them in number of planes .....the currently have 315 aircraft and 969 on order ......
Haha shout out from Luxembourg. The Luxembourg Findel International Airport actually is a big cargo hub and has multiple 747 freighters coming in and departing daily.
Oh yes! They’ve got planes flyin over me all the time. Luxembourg has always intrigued me just due to its size 🤣
Patrick; your canvas shoes ( 18:35 ) needed a thorough cleaning and white polish. Hope they are now.
That interior looks good.
It was wonderful!
Vistara is definitely the best airlines in India at the moment but Air India has already has it plans to serve better and provide its travelers a good service... Need to wait on it though.... Nice video Patrick of Vistara...
Thanks! I am excited to see how the brand changes post merger as Vistara has a great product, and Air India’s new product has me excited
@@PatrickSheaAviation : The reality is that 'Vistara' is a 50:50 JV between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines. Last year the Tata Group bought out 100% of Air India. So, it makes a lot of business sense. Tatas have recently placed an order of 470 new aircrafts for Air India, with an option to top up with another 70. They have already changed the CEO and re-branded AI, which will start rolling in from this December.
Also, their hotel division (Taj Group) has a catering service that already used to serve Air India for a very long time (and presumably Vistara as well since that's their own airline anyway). Starbucks in India is also a 50:50 JV between Tata Consumer Products and Starbucks Corporation. So, you see, the Tatas are basically everywhere in this space and cross-selling between their own brands... which is smart. Why buy from outside when you have brands within the group itself? It maximizes their profits.
I already see a Flaw Patrick! The Handicap is the Desk is made for a Right-Hand Person! I am a Left- Handed "Southern Paw". Fortunately, I am Ambi-Dexterous! So using a laptop is not a worry! Only when I have to write Memos etc ! I prefer my left hand to write long letters Though I can write notes with my Right Hand! Conclusion : The Writing Desk has to be user-friendly! Cheers! Overall an Excellent Review of Vistara Business Class! Cheers!
Glad you liked the video! If thats the case, then you'll want to be in an odd numbered row. The counter is on alternating sides as you go back row by row
Amazing these guys still check bags. Rolling duffels and larger backpacks can easily be carried on.
But then you don’t get a luggage tag as a little souvenir from the flight 🥲
nice ramp views of CDG
Nice coverage
Thanks!
Awesome 👌 ❤
Thanks!
Didn't you get to use the No1 Access line to fast track immigration? Business class passengers have access to that.
What a well structured and detailed video of Vistara Business class. I would also feel bad to see the Vistara brand go, but have high hopes for Air India in future.
Also, this is a first time I am seeing an airline serving popcorn. 😅
We love the popcorn! 🤣. And yea it’ll be sad to see Vistara go away but hopefully the merger can bring air India’s glory back
What a beautiful product
Agreed!
17:15 Forest Essentials are topppp tier products
I wish Tata could keep vistara intact and separate brand. Air India is yet to come out of its past. Tata also owns coffee and tea plantations and also sells tea and coffee under its brand own name as well as Tetley tea (British brand), eight o'clock coffee (American brand) and exotic Sonnets brand.
Its India, its surprises you every moment, afterall India is world leader

Any thoughts on air india's new livery? I like it but would've been nice if they keep the window decoration
Totally mixed opinions on it. It definitely gives them a much needed refresh, but it’s like a complete rebrand with almost completely ditching their current look and product. Although, maybe that was their goal 🤷♂️
@@PatrickSheaAviation considering air india's reputation isn't that great, a dramatic change may've been the best move. Especially if they want to be a premier carrier. As I said before the window decoration would've been a nice carryover.
Nice review. Incidentally, Vistara is also owned by the Tatas who own Air India. So, nothing to worry 🎉😊🎉
Thanks! The only question is how much of Vistara will show through after the merger 🤔🤔
@@PatrickSheaAviationif there is ine company that can do things right and turn Air India around, that’s the Tatas. The future looks bright…. Can’t wait for the new aircrafts to arrive for AI.
$400 mn are being spent to upgrade existing cabins in Air India by early 2025. Old planes are being discarded as well. In November, Air India will get it's A350 which will be benchmark in terms of cabin configuration & service.
I am excited to see the new product for sure! I’m hoping to see it in SFO
Vistara biz class seems like a decent product: IFE/map and meal service were stand out, a nicer livery than Air India (read online that merger to complete Mar 2024 hopefully AI will adopt this brand) the padded seat motif was nice but wholly unnecessary with loss of the 2nd window. CDG was a nightmare when i was there eons ago, ironic that it's still the case
I do hope Vistara can keep some of their aspects once taken over by AI. CDG may never change though…
Starbucks is also owned by TATA in India, that's why Vistara serves their coffee.
Interesting! Good to know, although sounds like kind of a random venture for them
@@PatrickSheaAviation Not at all. Tata Coffee is an 100 year old company. They are the largest integrated coffee plantation company in the world. Tata group owns and operates a very diverse portfolio of companies. That's why they are known in India as salt to software conglomerate. Although their partnership with Starbucks is a recent one.
@@PatrickSheaAviationTetley is also owned by Tatas.
10:40 - about the AI SATS baggage carts, not only Vistara, but a lot of airlines use AI ground services. If i'm not wrong, Vistara used it even pre merger.
Sounds good 👍
Tara's air India helped Singapore airlines in Singapore airlines initial days.
you should try BLR terminal 2, it trumps any other terminal in india
I do love their new terminals! I may get back there to fly the reverse of the SFO-BLR video I posted earlier this year
The package water from Himalayan, Catering from Taj, coffee from Starbucks(India), WIFI from Nelco. I guess Tata want everything from there own companies. No profit to outsiders.
Seems like you’re getting that more and more from companies around the world. Guess it’s easier to manage 🤷♂️
vistara to merge with air india is just like virgin america merged with alaska where the latter onboard products will survive but air india soon launching all new cabin as per their latest adver
Still now its not clear whether the merger will take place . Indian Aviation authorities have till now not given approval for merger of Air India and Vistara even after 5 months . Meanwhile they gave approval for Air Asia INDIA and AIR INDIA EXPRESS within 48 days
Starbucks in india or say Starbucks India is owned by tata same owner of airline that's why their coffee is Starbucks
If jet airways ever flies again will like to see your review of it
The merger between Vistara and Air India means only one thing, it’s going to be better. The bad reputation gained by Air India is soon to be cleared because the TATAs have taken charge. As an Indian, who has travelled Air India before and after the takeover of TATA, I can confidently say that their service has upgraded tremendously. I may even choose to fly Air India over Indigo in the future if TATA continues to improve Air India this way. I am proud to see the flag bearer of India in airlines is finally going back to the glory it deserves! Very excited for the future!
Thanks for the detailed review. Since TATA owns Air India now, They're overhauling many things at AI to get them up to the standards of Vistara. But I'm not sure if they ever will be able to match Air India in its prime before it was nationalized.
lol you haven't been to Heathrow BA even Concorde lounge-or even the States this is fab in comparison.
I don’t even know bro 🤷♂️
You must visit the lounge in Mumbai airport.@@PatrickSheaAviation
Nice video
Thanks!
Jet airways never has service to SFO. That may have been an aircraft that Etihad leased from Jet. I maybe wrong as well
Jet Airways did fly to San Francisco for a year or less, i believe it was Mumbai Shanghai San Francisco route.
Jet Airways was there for a short while, although you’re correct that this exact clip was operating an Etihad flight to AUH
Vistara is a good airlines has some of the Singapore Airlines DNA. Hope it will influence the combined airline... I liked your video, probably 5-10 mins too long :)
I do hope to see some of the Vistara influence shine through in the merger!
"TATA", most prestigious, reliable & trusted company in the world. From Air lines, Tea, Coffee, Packaged drinking water, Salt, spice, Insurance business sector, Steel plant, Electric power plant, Automobile manufacturers, Satellite TV service operator, Jewellery, watch manufacturers, Real estate business, Hotel to Hospital & Health care services, Social services, etc. etc. You can see TATA's strong presence in every sector related in our lifestyle. I love "TATA" & also respect Sir. Ratan Naval Tata.
lol
0:35 isn’t it indigo ?
India has a huge English speaking population (second language) and we consume a lot of Hollywood stuffs including all kinds of music. May be that's why there was such a huge number of English content available on board.
That would make a ton of sense
The merged Air India - Vistara Airline will have all New First, Business and Economy class from June 2024. So you won’t have to fly out old Air India Business class product. I am sure they will retain Vistara interiors until the Aircraft are retrofitted with new interiors mid next year.
That’ll be wonderful! I can’t wait to try it out
Nothing much changes for Vistara , maybe the name will be Air India post the merger since it is Tatas that have taken over AirIndia, you would be in the same aircraft as you traveled if you choose it in future , with the same service levels😊😊
That would be nice. Now I just hope they can also keep the entertainment options which were much better than my flight on Air India
About the merger - back when Air India was reliable and known for its service, it was in the hands of Tata. Later, the indian government took charge of Air India and the rest is history, you can see where it is now. My hopes with the merger is that the quality of service they have in Vistara will be replicated in the new Air India as well.
That would be incredible for the country
How was the Holiday Inn there? I'm considering it on a long layover at DEL but generally don't stay a Holiday Inns
I mean it’s not like a 5 star resort, and maybe a bit small, but it’s clean and was definitely the most convenient way to make a morning flight as I was already inside the terminal and just had to take an elevator downstairs to check in. I’d definitely use it again
@@PatrickSheaAviation Thanks. That helps. LOL I wasn't expecting a 5 star at any airport hotel. But good to know it's clean and doable for a few hours. Definitely a big plus don't have to leave the airport since if on schedule I'm only there for about 13 hours arriving at just before 10. Actually i just realized exact same flight you were on AA. Hopefully the upgrade clears to F but it probably will.
You need to do some research starbucks owned by tata group , reason you were given air india lounge is that Air India is the part of tata group now and air india and vistara has merged legally
Vistara customer relations were unfortunately poor from my experience a few years ago when they damaged my luggage due to poor handling at Kochi airport and then gave me the go around for months to try and absolve themselves of responsibility. Have avoided them since.
Very courageous of Patrick to be holding his passport over the pot of sambar 😂. One slip up and you’re stuck in India for the next few days.
Gotta keep just the right amount of luck on your side I guess 🤷♂️
I'm waiting patiently for Vistara to fly from BOM-LAX but it seems this situation is another Virgin America Alaska-esque thing...smh.
That’s exactly the way I see it as well. It sounds like they had soft plans for SFO ORD and JFK, but once the merger process began, they decided to hold off on adding new routes. Although VX merging with Alaska was odd because once the merger was announced, VX added like 5-10 new cities… which is slightly abnormal
A very good presentation!
However, I wish you had dubbed the take off part- the child throwing a tantrum and Mom trying to sooth the child, was a bit jarring.
Yea… that was a bit tough, but there wasn’t any other way to get the engine spool up
Bro recently Air India become a private company purchased by TATA which also own Vistara that's why they are merging and air india placed largest aircraft purchase order in entire aviation history for around 100Billion $ they are purchasing 500New plane and air india is now going to be completely change recently they released complete rebranding plans for air india and I have to say that upcoming plane design and colour are amazing
I am very excited to see their new product and I am hoping to see it in San Francisco soon!
The merger between Vistara and Air India is because the two airlines are owned by the same company, and that is Tata. Air India was originally owned by Tata until it was nationalised by the Indian government. Air India in more recent times returned to private ownership. Singapore Airlines has taken an ownership stake in both airlines and Tata decided the airlines should be merged to simplify its ownership portfolio.
From a managerial standpoint the merger makes sense but I just hope that we can see the best of each airline at the forefront after the merger
I guess post merger, it provides an opportunity for another airline to replace Vistara experience in the fast-expanding Indian aviation scene.
That would be super interesting to see. I’m hoping that the merger can bring one great airline
Nice review Patrick- I’m not a fan of the AI lounge at all having suffered food poisoning as a result of “ dining” there - Ive flown Vistara on that sector as well and I think my experience would be mirrored although I don’t care for those seats
Interesting. Curious, what style of seat do you prefer?
@@PatrickSheaAviation the Apex would be up there and I’m also fond of QR’s qsuite
@@PatrickSheaAviation seats where you don't have to lean forward to look outside. Great seats but the idea was not totally thought thru.
Air India will be in fact better than Vistara's current offering. Not only is AI is under TATA'S portfolio, but the fact that SIA will have over a 25% stake in the company will play a very critical role in the transformation. Thus, it's safe to be assured that AI is in not good but in 'GREAT' hands for the forseeable future.
It sounds great on paper. I just really hope the end product is what we are hoping for. I’d love to see Air India return to its former glory
The business class on board Air India's AI 188/187 from Toronto to Delhi and back is absolute shite compared to this one although I will admit that I did not have to pay a fortune to book those tickets. I think that Vistara's merger with Air India will be a win-win situation for everyone after all.
Agreed. Both airlines have their strengths and if TATA is smart, they’ll be able to highlight them
Tata will elevate air India to match vistara and SiA level.
It is the second biggest airline in India although Air India is not the biggest.
In May 1987 I came up close and personal with an Air France Concord in person. It landed in Indianapolis for the Indianapolis 500
That’s awesome!
One bit of correction : Since Tata purchased Air India from the Govt about a year n a half or so ago, Air India is no longer a Flag Carrier as share towards the end of the video, but is a private airline like Vistara, IndiGo, etc.
You can be a flag carrier whilst owned by private company. Air France and KLM are owned by one company and British Airways is a part of International Airline Group (IAG) company. All three are still France, Netherlands and United Kingdom flag carrier respectively.
^^ what he said. Flag Carriers do not necessarily have to be government owned
There are 4 guys i only watch airlines reviews : you, jeff, noel and josh you guys are the Masters more i do not need. Keep up the work i love it. Kind regards from The Netherlands
Love it! Thanks man!!
Try new Air India business class in their new offerings to US
I will definitely try out their renovated cabins once those roll out
Don’t worry Air India will completely change in one year time. It will world class with new A350 for long haul flights.
I just hope they are able to maintain some of the things that made the Vistara flight so great!
It is going to merge with air india it will be better yay the maharaja will be back
They will obviously push all Vistara features to all their planes !
On what basis are you making that assumption ? Vistara offers a superior service and product. Air India can make no such claims.
