@@avishjha4030 Not always. Some Aviation bloggers have mentioned that if they approach the agents at the gate, and ask for permission to board early - they do get it if asked nicely. Doesn't always have to be sponsored.
TATA have gained full ownership of the airline and now there upgrading there entire unit and making it an airline actually worth flying unlike before

@@aaravshah6226 the mock ups of Navi Mumbai are pretty similar to what you see in other modern airports around the word. Okay, but nothing inspiring. An improvement, but not memorable.
Bangalore T2 is unique. Changi has gardens, but centrally located. Bangalore gardens are all over. The kind of airport that sticks in your memory.

answering Liam's question, the thing in the tray table is when you open it up fully you can use it to wach stuff on a phone or iPad

I was on the inaugural flight of this aircraft on Jan 22. The atmosphere was amazing because there's so many avgeeks in India - plus the few international ones as myself. I went all the way from Germany to be part of this. And it was all worth it. I already saw last year, when I flew still on their older B787, what big steps they made in their soft product. An airline to look out for again, now that it's under the new and also historically interesting ownership...

And will connect a lot of destinations to Bangalore.
That looked like it was lots of fun. The seat recline in Premium and economy was seriously impressive. Liam and his pluffy pillows, lol! That seems to be his favourite plane accessory! Goodness, Nicky, what happened to your left eye? That looks terribly painful.

Nice job, good to point out that Air India's first few A350s were originally destined for Russian carrier Aeroflot but due to sanctions Air India took over the delivery slot
The CMF on these 900s has been refreshed on the seating and carpets to tie in with other upcoming retrofit and line fit aircraft.
Stop giving half cooked information. Yes, those are meant for Aeroflot, but the interior was refurbished, including the color schemes for Air India.
@@ij7957 no it's actually you giving out half cooked info..only the colour theme in the economy has changed..and I mean just the colour fabric has changed even the cushioning pattern is same as aeroflot and talking about the business and first class..it has remained unchanged, why don't you go and look up for aeroflot's interiors
Ya but interiors are in air india configuration only.. except the business class..that was in aero float configuration. You can guess that through the colors.
Lets clear up some things: will AI be installing the same seats as Aeroflot with different colors or will they be installing completly different seats. How will the ex-Aeroflot interiors then differ from the subsequent A350s that are delivered? Last week I travelled with this exact cabin on Turkish (who inherited 4 A350s from Aeroflot orders that were never delivered).
I never expected TPG to fly Air India. I live in bangalore now and it is my DREAM to meet you all.

I like your guys videos of traveling in many places and getting into the plane from a low place of the Economy Class, medium place of the Premium Economy Class, and a high place for the Business Class or First Class.
You all have to remember Air India was started by the Tata Group, and pre-privatisation it was one of the best airlines in the world. The Maharaja of the skies. The government ruined this by nationalising this. Now the airline has come back home to it's family, it will achieve the title again, but it will take time. I am please you enjoyed our Indian hospitality.

I JUST hope AIR INDIA gets it's all new planes they have ordered as fast as possible.
It's taking little time they have ordered 500.
One thing to note: the current Air India A350s were originally ordered by and configured for Aeroflot. They took delivery of just a few before sanctions over the war in Ukraine blocked the other deliveries, which is why these planes won't necessarily feature the design choices Air India will have implemented on the planes that they are ordering for future delivery.
I was just thinking while watching how similar they looked to the Turkish Air A350s that came from the same source!

Could very much be a reality, I think it is important for them to expand their non-stop service from airports here in the United States (only SFO and JFK), perhaps adding additional airports like Dulles, Hartsfield-Jackson, O' Haire, and Fortworth) would truly elevate Air India's reach and appeal to Indians overseas.
@@arnavmaheshwari Yes, it will happen. Issue is now slow deliveries of aircrafts. By now 6 A350s should have been delivered but it is delayed. Boeing 777X program too is off the track & you must be aware about what's happening in Boeing!! So seems B787-9 too would be delayed. Maybe Air India will have to increase orders to Airbus instead of Boeing. Else they will have no option but to lease aircrafts like they have leased Delta B777 which is currently used between US-India, I think BLR-SFO.

Flew Air India in 1966 on a Boeing 707 to London from New York and liked it. Gave us orange juice before take off. My father flew them in 1950 on a Connie to Cairo from Rome.

Agreed, Bangalore is definitely one of the best in the world, i would say 2nd after Changi Airport in Singapore.
