ellebangs I wish I lived closer so I could have you do my hair. I've had an ongoing salon nightmare now for about a year and I can't even begin to express how frustrated I am. I had super long (almost to my butt) healthy, shiny dark hair. The dark did come from box dye. (I hadn't been to a stylist in YEARS because the only one I truly loved and trusted moved away and I had nothing but bad experiences. I wanted to go back blonde and decided to give it another go with someone in the nearest city. Thinking that if I traveled to the nearest city, I'd get someone who was hip and up on all the newest and latest of everything hair. NOT! To make a long story short, it's been a year, I've spent over a grand and my hair is shot!!! I've been to three different stylists during all this and NONE of them can seem to make my hair blonde!! I would say it's been bleached 7 or 8 times now and it's still yellow!! I had to cut all my hair off because it was so dry and fried!! I just don't get why this is happening!! It seems like every time I'd go in, they'd say well it's going to take a few more times to get it where you want it but it's way past a few more times and my hair looks like crap!! Do you have any recommendations for a stylist in or around the Winfield, Ks area? Or any recommendations for my hair would be much appreciated!!

Diosmery Fermin GREAT suggestion
Put some conditioner on your ends before shampooing. Makes a huge difference if you have long hair. I put some on rinse it out and then only shampoo the top of my hair but also running it down my hair gently and then rinsing. Then do conditioner again and your hair will look and feel amazing!

I have bad frizzy hair and I bought a silk pillow case and almost cried in the morning because it was a world of difference.

I need this answer too @ellebangs !!!!! I tried the wrapping method with a silk scarf but my hair is too soft. Idk if the African hair works better but mine does not stay when I brush it around my head. Please help!
I love to put dryer sheets in my shoes when I'm not wearing them. Makes them smell so good.

nanii perez Girl you MUST speak up! I know its hard for some but trust me, hair stylists wants to know! If there a good one, they will do their best to make you happy so communication is key! Not to mention, youre helpling them and yourself 😆

Never even thought about dry shampoo on clean hair...I just got a great Lob cut and plan on blowing it out every day for high volume. Im going to have to add the dry shampoo step and see how it works. Ty! I love your videos. 💞

when i wash my hair at night and sleep with it till the next day , the next day the hair will be not that nice with volume and in a good shape as when i wash and style it after with wet hair .
what's the routine for the apple cider vinegar rinse? do you do it before or after washing ? do you wash it with water after or just do a rinse with vinegar and leave it in :)
Put it in a spray bottle, spray the hair after washing and rinse it out after a few minutes :)
what eyeshadows are you wearing? loving this look!
The Fabric Sheets are great to keep bugs from bighting you. Rub it on exposed skin during the spring and summer.
One time I brought pictures into a salon to show the lady what I wanted, she literally glanced at it, nodded, then cut my hair completely wrong 😭

I hate silk! Lol, i can only sleep on 100% cotton. I cant stand the slipperiness of silk and its always cold, you have to warm it up

Can you do a video on how to fix a "spotty" highlight? Like many followers I'm doing my hair myself and I'm sure people are running into this issue. Thanks!
Nic C I don't know how to fix it unfortunately, but I realized with mine I wad going too close to the top of the foil with too much bleach up top so it would expand and leak out of the top in spots, especially when I would touch or pat the foil. so fixing it, I basically just bleached more everywhere and let it grow 😁 but figured out prevention instead with less gobs of bleach by the roots, and a tiny bit more room from the edge of the foil. ☺ wish I were more helpful for actually correcting the spots though!

Question: I have just Subscribed so I have only seen two of your videos so far. I have long thin hair and the only way I can get substantial volume is when I use hair extensions for volume. I'm wondering if you have them in your hair in this video? Being as blonde as you the damage has really thinned it so basically I'm curious how you got yours so long and thick being so blonde or is it extensions? I heard using dry shampoo clogs your hair follicles and prevents new hair growth. Is that possible? I love my dry shampoo and I'm so scared that's true and I'll have to stop using it.
+Kelly Nichols yes if you use dry shampoo for more than two days and go days without washing your hair, yes it clogs follicles

Since finding this our, I've stopped using it. I've always wanted to like using it, but honestly I hate dry shampoo. Made my hair feel dirtier and weighed down.
I use it a couple hours after I wash and it makes my hair voluminous, then once more before I go to bed and wrap it up. Then the next day I wear my hair up and it's fresh. I love Batiste. It's amazing.
damn i use often dry shampoo, cause i have frizzy curly hair and i dont want to wash it often cause i always straighten it. i do not buy drys shampoo anymore but now my heart is broken.
