I love mine so far!
It's a scale truck and designed to be driven to scale. If one chooses to drive it beyond it's intended design then they have no right to complain. They just bought the wrong r/c. It's not rocket science.
Agreed, thanks for watching
Well said
😎👍
You can make that truck into an absolute animal!! Vitavon has everything you need, besides some shock tuning, to complete the truck!! Mine barely barrel rolls anymore. I’ve got it dialed in and I know how to drive it…
Great info, thanks
If you put the open diff in it a lot better to drive when turning,
Oh yeah thats good stuff!💯⚡🏁😃
As always, we appreciate you watching
Keep it, we luv it. 😊
👍 Thanks for watching
Love the videos dad keep it up!
Thanks, bud. love you. I hope they help you pass the time.
I love my udr. Its super fun, kinda hurts to wreck it though. Never know when something is gonna break
They are great trucks when used as intended. Thanks for watching
Get Hot Racing sway bar kit front and rear! Hot Racing aluminum hex/brake disc. Hot Racing shock limit straps Traxxas metal front drive shaft
Great info. I have some of those parts on the way. Thanks for watching
I love mine.....changed shock fluid, and opened the diff.....performs great....😎👍
What weight fluid did you use?
@@nocontrolrc8290 I went to 65wt shock oil fr......85wt in rr..
@@nocontrolrc8290CX😅😮😢😮😮😮
Are these open rear diff or locked? It's a trophy truck, the only one better is that Losi behind you in the larger scale. Axial did it first though :p
The rear end is locked with a spool. I wish axial would update and rerelease the yeti trophy truck. Thanks for watching
Why is it not good for jumping and bashing like a slash or other Traxxas platforms? Is it the solid axle geometry, or is it the extra weight making it more fragile? Or both?
The whole design of the truck is not built for bashing. It is built for baja style offroad racing where suspension is really important and it's built for scale detail. You can jump this truck off big jumps, but it will eventually break something, and they are not really fun to work on. But off medium-sized jumps out in the sand, this truck is just so nice to drive. But durability will factor in when really bashing on it.
It was designed to look real and in doing so totally sacrificed the drivability that you are used to when driving just about any rc, it's just waaaay too front heavy and it's fragile and expensive to fix. My buddy brought his to the track, ran it once and put in on FB marketplace.
@@JohnS-jy3nv If you set one up so the battery went above the rear axle/near where the spares usually go, do you think it would drive better? It'd certainly be less front-heavy, though of course, more top-heavy. Though, they could also do a V drive with the motor in that location and mount the battery sideways where the motor used to go. Or if they wanted solid axle geometry with better packaging, they could do a de-dion axle with a parallel 4-link and a watt's link, as that would allow a traditional motor placement and whatnot.
Would you get this again or super baja rey or super rock rey?
I have a super baja rey. It's fun. Think the rock reys are discontinued. This truck is fun, but if money is no object, the super baja rey is a whole different experience. The size of it along with 8s, is just so crazy.
@@nocontrolrc8290 i can get both udr and super rock rey new for a good price the super baja rey 2.0 is at its original price which holds me back
@Gooche if you can get a udr at a good price, then that's what I would get.
