When i bought my UDR, it didnt come stock withthe light kit. It was a couple of months after it was released. I had ordered a lot of upgrade parts for it when i ordered it. I put a lot of aluminum parts on it from the get go as i knew i wasnt going to be jumping it. It hasnt got used in quite some time. It is pretty well worn out and could use a full rebuild, but at that point it would cost less to buy a whole new one. It is in very rough condition.
@@XScooter39X Hello Scooter! I would try recalibrating the ESC first before getting a new one. If all else fails, I believe the Sidewinder would work fine. I have found that 4S is the perfect amount of power for the UDR. Anything higher just makes the back end slide out far too much!
Very well done video. Has this truck been updated in any way since its release? I’m receiving mine in a few days and I’ve heard of the rear differential being a nightmare. Have you had any problems with yours?
Thank you! No, the truck has not had any major upgrades since its release in 2019. Rear differential can be a problem but usually only when you run it on 6S with all the power. I keep it well greased and make sure to not 100% punch the throttle which helps. Vitavon and a few other companies do make upgraded rear diffs too which aren’t too expensive!
@@TheUserReview sweet. Tysm. I will definitely consider the upgrades. I may also consider some kind of gasket maker to try and seal the rear axle. Apparently sand gets inside the rear diff. I was. Mechanic for traxxas cars back in 2014 at paradise in south Florida and never encountered a diff full of sand. This should be interesting lol thanks man.
Please make sure to leave a like on the video to help offset the cost of the parking ticket I got 🤣
Love the cold open. Just absolutely sending it.

I would still do a rebuild on it! You’d be surprised on what you can salvage and re-paint to make it look brand new again!
Gnarly broooo
Where did you get the black rifle stickers for the body?! Love it
Thank you! I custom made them
Question: My ESC for no Reason went to Blinking. In your opinion, will a Sidewinder 8th Combo Push this UDR? Thank you. Scooter

@TheUserReview Thank you Tons .I will do that. 👍😉
Are you running it on 4 or 6s ?
And what is the gap space between your coil springs and the caps ??
Thanks
I run this on 4S as I have had issues with the ESC when running on 6S. Gap is about 0.50-0.75 inches
Hi, about your coil springs you have change, is it the same part # for front and rear ?
#8444A for the front and #8445A for the rear

Your driving it all wrong, it's a slasher not a basher.
But it's your truck and your money, good to see udr content these days.
Can’t have fun with it if it’s sitting on a shelf! 🤷♂️ Thanks for stopping by!
@@TheUserReview the downside of these trucks is that they need room, I use large construction sites as there are quite a few around my area.
Pop off king
🤘🤘🤘
Nice
Where's mike
Where’s Rick
So many say you can't bash this truck, so many are wrong, so wrong, given size and weight
For sure can still bash it! Cant sit on a shelf forever 🤷♂️
