I don't think it will happen that way. Saitama will probably fight with Blast and not awoken the same as he did against Garou. Since Blast will easily be able to mitigate the damages, Saitama won't have to be pushed too much above his limits.
There is also no guarantee that empty void attained a level comparable of Cosmic Garou.
Maybe the final fight against the god character will be on that scale, but not this one. Should be very interesting though.
I always wanted to know how was hellfire and Gail able to go in between monster form and human form just like the one sword master, but it seems like everyone else who ate the monster cells just transformed into a monster and stay that way

Theory: The original version had Sonic much less talented as Flashy Flash. Now he's equal to him. Why? I suspect Flash Flash is going to die. Not necessarily in this arc, but eventually. Making Sonic as powerful as Flashy Flash makes sense if Sonic avenges Flashy's death.

I used to watch this channel just for the spoilers but the amount of click bait just for views is outrageous
I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily stronger than Cosmic Fear Garou. Garou was in tip top shape when he got God’s power, in his prime more or less, while Empty Void was skin and bones, still presumable recovering from his battle with Blast. That’s not to say he won’t be a powerhouse, just not necessarily as strong as everybody thinks.
Then again, he did get blessed by God once before, even if it was only a small amount (compared to Garou, at least, maybe as much as Homeless Emperor was, if not a little more). He also clearly has far more control over his powers, since all Garou did was copy Saitama and everyone else’s powers, going for brute strength alone, while Empty Void outright PULLED LITERAL EMPTY SPACE IN FRONT OF HIM to block Blast’s attack.
We can clearly see Empty Void wielding two swords when he fights off Blast, probably his Demon Swords. I imagine Flash and Sonic will be on the losing side until Sonic does his Imitation Infinite Sideways Hops and steals the swords from him, which he does in the original webcomic against the Heavenly Ninja Party. He’ll give one to Flash and they’ll both manage to cut him. But that’s about it, since they’ll probably pass out from the power in the swords assimilating them, just like Atomic Samurai did when he used the Sun Blade.
Then and only then will Blast save their lives. The Saitama saves Blast.
