I think Saitama can fly.. he either chooses not too, or doesnt realize he can. He has show his ability to fly a few time, but its subtle. Against Boros ship for example.. he hovers in the air, and redirects a projectile before picking a spot on the ship and crashing into it. Saitama does this sort of thing alot... like he seems slow, even getting a ride from Mumen rider, but he moves so fast flashy sees him as a blur.
i like to think its the 8 gates guy treatment. where he is so strong that he kicks the air to propel himself forward...it just fits his monsterous power style more. honestly.
He learned to time travel in seconds. He just needs to watch someone else do it & he'll learn it immediately. Hope ONE gives him this feat in the future. Not that he needs it of course since he can just propel himself in any direction.
No, he can't fly. It's mentioned multiple times both in the Manga & the anime. You're missing one of his most insane feats: he annihilated BILLIONS of entire GALAXIES with a SINGLE PUNCH. He blotted out an entire portion of space, people think those were just stars, no, each one of those lights were entire galaxies and he punched out BILLIONS of them.
no that was just him destroying the light photons not the actual stars. if he destroyed the stars we wouldnt know until thousands of years later. plus in space you cant create shockwaves
I like these kind of videos where Saitama is being acknowledged by what he deserved. Although by how things are going on right now with the manga, this will soon be inevitable and I'm here for it
Actually, I’m guessing that Saitama is going to receive a lot of angry backlash when his true power is widely revealed. He really is WAY too powerful to be roaming around the planet, and as far as we know, there is no government or hero (or monster) that can stop Saitama from doing as he pleases. Sure, he’s a nice guy and a true hero, but that isn’t going to be enough to make the people and governments of the world stop fearing him. People hate what they fear or don’t understand.
And the only reason Saitama looked distraught while fighting Carnage Kabuto was because he realised he was missing a sale going on at the local supermarket.
King is my fav character in the setting, and one of the reasons why is that Saitama and him seem to have the most genuine friendship. To the point that King dishes out some pretty harsh truth bombs to the Caped Baldy. I think everyone else either doesn't even know about Saitama, or do, and if they do then they are so awe inspired by him that they have these rose tinted glasses of him, or think he's perfect. But because King is supposedly the strongest ;- he can say these things that no one else can. And because King is normal (until he lifts I guess) he has a pretty unique perspective.
highly doubtful. Saitama learned how to time travel and immediately forgot how due to undoing the event that caused him to learn how in the first place XD Saitama has also shown in the past that he doesn't like taking credit for "damages" so you can imagine what something on that scale would do.
Second funniest to me. Funniest is right after, when Tatsu launched Saitama back to Hero Association, followed him and landed on the wall next to Saitama's apartment and King watching that was like "Saw her panties." (Ch 182, p 29)
The most clever trick this show does is drawing Saitama differently depending on how powerful the people around him know he is. You always see him from the viewpoint as someone else.
tastsumaki going absolute feral for an entire fight. then being calm, level heading and respectful to her enemy after she defeated herself (remember saitama didnt even hit her once) is hilarious.
I like Mumen Rider, hes honestly just a good guy trying to do good, and im pretty sure that made Saitama respect him. Maybe if he does the Saitama excercises, he could approach Saitama in strength 😂
Considering that he has never hit a limit with his power and just keeps doing more and more powerful stuff, does anyone, including Saitama himself, actually know how powerful he is?
He's basically plot armor incarnate. Saitama honestly pisses me off a little, not because he isn't a great character, but because he's becoming another Goku - where people always randomly bring him up as some kind of gold standard for powerscaling.
@@roguebarbarian9133yes, Saitama is the most pointless character to scale against, he can't kill a mosquito but sneeze apart our biggest planet. I enjoy reading OPM but his strength is just"whatever is good for this panel", it's unlimited power yet the result of any battle would just be "what's the most fun?", So like Goku vs Saitama might just be Saitama charging up a punch that would win, but before unleashing it, he sees an AD for free meat and jumps 10 the speed of light to get there for his lunch. It's pointless lol.
After more than 2 months of really small chapters, I hope Murata has something special in store for us in Chapter 200 up next. I wonder if we'll at least get a sequence involving Blast and Saitama's mission together. After so many teasers of 'just wait', I at least want a definitive answer on whether or not Blast remembers the power of Saitama from the previous timeline. Don't forget, he decided to embark to earth to fix the barrier from Saitama and Garou's fight BEFORE the timeline shift. So he was on his way to the battlefield by the time Saitama delivered his reversal causality punch to defeat Cosmic Fear Garou. He knows something was wrong, something bad happened, and someone else stopped it. Tatsumaki was completely out of commission so he knows she didn't stop it. And why was Blast so casually willing to allow Saitama on this very personal mission with him? There's just too much to chew on here and I feel that the next couple chapters with the two absolutely HAVE to address some of these points.
I'm not so sure those two hanging out is going to be the most productive of relationships. Saitama already has Flashy Flash breaking the 4th wall himself after a very short amount of time together during the monster association arc. Who knows what it'll do to Blast...
@@Rekuzan Even though I hate people calling Saitama a gag character in a parody manga - because he's not and there's plenty of depth to him and the story as a whole, I think that was just a gag. That whole series of chapters felt very gag heavy. Genos was nearly out of character with the way he was acting (I felt the webcomic handled it better) when Flashy Flash was chatting with Saitama and he peaked through the hole in the wall. Lots of gags and felt more loose in the writing. I don't think that was meant to be observed as any kind of feat for Flashy Flash, it sounded more like he was just saying "during the time you did this thing, I was busy doing this." Like he was repeating it for frame of reference and that was used as a gag. I doubt anyone else will be breaking the 4th wall but Saitama (who breaks it so hard, that when the duel with Flashy started, he moved so fast that Murata didn't even have time to draw him properly).
@@LDPofclan935 It's not what F.F. said, it's the WAY he said it that was sus. He specifically said 'During those three panels....' The thing about OPM is that it's definitely a gag anime, but it's also super serious serious as well, giving it that perfect balance of the two that fans love! Even though it doesn't flat out say it and it's a lot more subtle, it is definitely a FWB for Flashy Flash. Also, what is UP with those ninja names? Is that absolutely necessary? S.o.S.S. I get, but Flashy Flash???
I love how everything Saitama does is within the idea that he's just unimaginably strong. Like he can't do anything else aside from punch, run, or jump & when he fights it follows the aesthetic of someone only punching really hard & doesn't have magical or fantastical effects
I think the best scenes/frames of one punch man is when you see him just absolutely destroy a monster in one punch. Especially with how the punch’s power has been shown/drawn and you just see the raw power of a god being made in a single punch by the caped baldi. If there isn’t some scene or moment where we see saitama do multiple “super serious punches”(i dunno if a super serious punch is an actual thing) and showed the raw power properly I’d really like to see that. I think a good example is when saitama uses a serious punch to, almost, kill genos. The frame of the punch coming towards genos then seeing the absolute crazed force of this punch behind genos
6:36 honestly with the limiter explanation I always felt that because the training saitama did would surely kill someone in our world especially if they started as regular civilians who only kept in shape but never really did anything to intense, combined with the fact that humans in the opm verse all have insane potential and are way more resilient is how I think he didn’t straight up paralyze himself after his work outs, it even kinda makes sense why it took three years to break his limiter since civilian or not opm humans are just too resilient and also why kinda explains why people like bang Garou and others who have trained for way longer than him haven’t broken their limiters, their bodies are strong enough that any training they do is manageable especially since they let themselves recover and started slowly and amped it up over time. I don’t know anything about this glasses guy but they showed him lifting weights and going to the gym meaning his training was more controlled and possible at least for the most part plus while he’s clearly motivated I don’t think he was as dedicated as saitama but considering the difference in difficulty of what they did that’s kinda expected, anyway because what he did was controlled and he probably took care of himself that’s probably why he didn’t break their limiter 7:48 it’s even shown here that he was training as someone who had already accepted that no matter what he did he would never be able to reach levels like people with actual super powers as he was a “normal human” whereas saitama believed wholeheartedly that with enough training he would reach the pinnacle above all other’s (which kinda turned out to be a bad thing for him but not the point) like he said to that scientist guy hard work will always be what allows humans to reach the top cuz unlike everyone else even guy’s like bang and Garou who took their training relatively easy at first and slowly but surely amped it up once they knew they could handle it whereas saitama did the exact opposite. Thanks to anyone who actually read this far
I love to think the reason he broke his limiter was BECAUSE he was so weak to begin with, that training normal people would be able to handle broke his limiter instead
My roommates always theorized that one must lose something great to break a limit, and to break one on Saitama's scale, he'd have to practically lose his life. They think that during his training he really did die, either by a sudden influx of power and his body unable to handle it correctly, or by the strain it was under.
I don't think going to the gym shows that glasses had less dedicated training. Lifting weights can get you a lot further than 100 pushups situps and squats, and takes more dedication imo. To be fair we don't see how much he runs, and the 10km run is the crazy part of Saitama's workout. But I don't think that's it anyways. I think first of all that he doesn't believe he can be as strong as Saitama... and second of all Saitama is just an enigma. He's as Garou put it the embodiment of unfairness. In other words, Saitama is a cheat character. You can't beat cheats by playing fair, and hence glasses will never be as strong as Saitama (though he might manage to get noticeably stronger than he is now).
The manga depicted Saitama so well! I was feeling chills when I was at the part where he was fighting final form garou... As well as happy and annoyed at how everyone, even saitama (i think), doesn't remember anything... actually except genos... he got the living proof of time travel 😂
Tatsumaki's reaction to his insane strength was probably the best of them all. She found a sparring partner that she could go completely unhinged and full power at and found it would do nothing to him in the slightest. She actually saw her superior, other than Blast, for the first time and it humbled her to the point she actually listened to what he had to say and wouldn't go off the rails when he said "No" to her.
I think what is funny is the only thing Genos has left that is not cyborg on his body is his hair and that’s the one thing Saitama is missing. I think if Genos were to ever train so hard and no longer have hair, then he would become stronger than Saitama. It’s ironic because it’s all Genos has left.
Can Genos even train physically? I mean he’s basically a full-on robot now like Raiden from MGR:R. Like, sure, technically a cyborg, but most of the significant muscle tissue has been removed.
16:00 mosquito girl actually wasn't destroyed, can't believe i missed it so many times but in the anime you see a red star in the background shine as you see the blood splatter after the slap, it was her sack getting destroyed not her.
I wouldn't really call it plot armor. More of a plot sword. Yes he eats hits but plot armor in my opinion is like when a character that should die doesn't by some means. This man is never on the brink of death, except when we was still doing his training but those fights were even
I hope this doesn't seem to be taken as a negative comment. The video was nice. It's just the order of which you put things could have been better. Talking about Garou last after saying Black S saw him hit Garou, Forte before the monster dog and Black S. It was kind of all over the place.
Wait, Mosquito Girl SURVIVED? That's hilarious! (I've only watched the first season and haven't read the manga yet). And her casually drinking tea out of an evolution mug! That's amazing! (17:10)
Glasses is going to reach borderline saitama strength but loses his eye sight trading out his regular glasses for sunglasses 🤷🏾♂️😂 (also potentially gets a saiyanman themed super suit to more fill the gohan look)
Blast and god probably remember what happened remember god was in a pocket dimension outside of the universe so he wouldn't be affected by the timeline reset and blast and his buddy were also in a pocket dimension so they probably remember it too
1:10 - Saitama can't _fly,_ true, but the anime includes a couple of frames (during his sparring match with Genos) where he's clearly adjusting his position in the air through punching. 16:04 - Mosquito Girl is shown surviving with her body intact after Saitama slaps her, in both the manga (she goes through a building, breaking a couple of floors off) and anime (only her abdomen/blood sack hits the building, exploding and painting it red) which even adds a "twinkle in the sky" gag. Since she's tough enough to give early-chapter Genos trouble it's not too surprising that she survived when Saitama only _slapped_ her; what's strange is that he held back at all.
I like how he's able to jump from the moon back to Earth, but yet still rode on the back of a bicycle in order to go fight the Sea King. He's able to jump there, but I like to think he tries to give everyone else a fighting chance before showing up
Hehehe, i really like it when the Main Character proves those around him wrong, personally i don’t care who will be next, I am fine with it happening at all.

24:37, love how every "spar" saitama had ends with the person thinking they are gonna die. This happened to genos thinking he would just fade from reality by dying from his "counter punch"

Especially after the whole genos thing, you really can't say he doesn't care.
i like the fact that before the people discover saitama's true strength their like "NO DONT DO IT YOUR TOO WEAK" and saitama is just like "huh? oh, hi monster" and just kills it with one punch
Did you not think that he also jumped on Boros' ship?
i like to think its the 8 gates guy treatment. where he is so strong that he kicks the air to propel himself forward...it just fits his monsterous power style more. honestly.
He learned to time travel in seconds. He just needs to watch someone else do it & he'll learn it immediately. Hope ONE gives him this feat in the future. Not that he needs it of course since he can just propel himself in any direction.
@@Lightning_Farron bro can use ultra instinct mode if he just sees goku use it lmao
No, he can't fly. It's mentioned multiple times both in the Manga & the anime. That being said, he has ways of making it seem like he can, usually by manipulating the air around him in some form or another....including the use of.....on one occasion....*sigh* ..fart-bending....yeah, he went there...
You're missing one of his most insane feats: he annihilated BILLIONS of entire GALAXIES with a SINGLE PUNCH. He blotted out an entire portion of space, people think those were just stars, no, each one of those lights were entire galaxies and he punched out BILLIONS of them.
Nobody seems to have a brain nowadays as well as nobody talking about that specific detail. When I first saw that, I was like HOLY SHJT!

Lol
King is my fav character in the setting, and one of the reasons why is that Saitama and him seem to have the most genuine friendship. To the point that King dishes out some pretty harsh truth bombs to the Caped Baldy. I think everyone else either doesn't even know about Saitama, or do, and if they do then they are so awe inspired by him that they have these rose tinted glasses of him, or think he's perfect. But because King is supposedly the strongest ;- he can say these things that no one else can. And because King is normal (until he lifts I guess) he has a pretty unique perspective.
He peed his pants in front of him. That's about as real as it gets, so King is totally free around Saitama now.
Soon the whole world will know Saitama’s true strength.
highly doubtful. Saitama learned how to time travel and immediately forgot how due to undoing the event that caused him to learn how in the first place XD Saitama has also shown in the past that he doesn't like taking credit for "damages" so you can imagine what something on that scale would do.

Tatsumaki's face when Saitama has her pulled up against him will forever be one of the funniest things in the manga. It still cracks me up.
Second funniest to me. Funniest is right after, when Tatsu launched Saitama back to Hero Association, followed him and landed on the wall next to Saitama's apartment and King watching that was like "Saw her panties." (Ch 182, p 29)
And her face when she says “Are you into me too or something?” *SCREAMS* tsundere.
The most clever trick this show does is drawing Saitama differently depending on how powerful the people around him know he is. You always see him from the viewpoint as someone else.

S.o.S.S. When it's good it's a great manga
There’s been like 5 chapters and they are just flashy flash and sonic doing things😭
I love how everything Saitama does is within the idea that he's just unimaginably strong. Like he can't do anything else aside from punch, run, or jump & when he fights it follows the aesthetic of someone only punching really hard & doesn't have magical or fantastical effects
Love how Glasses saw himself in Saitama and immediately knew the truth😂❤ gl to him
I think the best scenes/frames of one punch man is when you see him just absolutely destroy a monster in one punch.
Multiple super serious punches would just about disintegrate any atom nearby…
@@jammed_yam exactly, thanks for summarizing all my yappin 👍
My roommates always theorized that one must lose something great to break a limit, and to break one on Saitama's scale, he'd have to practically lose his life. They think that during his training he really did die, either by a sudden influx of power and his body unable to handle it correctly, or by the strain it was under.
David Goggins
I’m actually excited to see the Heroes Association’s faces to see Saitama’s true strength compare to theirs.

Tatsumaki's reaction to his insane strength was probably the best of them all. She found a sparring partner that she could go completely unhinged and full power at and found it would do nothing to him in the slightest.

I think what is funny is the only thing Genos has left that is not cyborg on his body is his hair and that’s the one thing Saitama is missing. I think if Genos were to ever train so hard and no longer have hair, then he would become stronger than Saitama. It’s ironic because it’s all Genos has left.
