Lord Boros is a one-off villain, but that doesn't mean he isn't a fan favorite. He only appeared in one arc, but that alone cemented him as a true badass. Sure, Cosmic Garou far surpassed him now, but that doesn't take away from how strong Boros truly is.
Not to mention Boros is that strong naturally. Cosmic fear Garou used God power to become stronger(unwillingly) and Saitama broke his limiter. Now imagine if Boros acquired God power or semi or completely broke his limiter. He would become insanely powerful. As for how much, it's hard to tell since Garou understood energy flow and whether that's unique to him or God power is unclear. But if it's unique to God power, Boros will be much stronger than Cosmic Fear Garou. Especially since Boros has energy manipulation(the roaring cannon attack), so he will benefit immensely from understanding energy flow. As for Boros breaking his limiter, he will be Saitama, but with energy attacks. Only Saitama has completely broken his limiter. Garou was very close to breaking it before he became cosmic fear Garou, in his Monster form.
Without broken limiters or God power, Boros is pretty darn strong.

@@cheesegrater4108it's debatable, but I do think gods powers enhance feats of the existing person. For example garou was able to replicate everyone's attacks, even blast and saitama, that is very much a garou unique feat. Boros would likely get more enhanced abilities of his own, but I don't think he'd be able to do the same things cosmic garou can do. For example boros energy attacks would be enhanced, but cosmic garou was still able to keep growing in his fight, just like how garou previously did before accepting his power.

I love how Boros is a parody of Goku made a villain. An alien, that came to Earth as a conqueror. He loves to fight and test his strength. His two greatest techniques are literally a kamehameha and a kaioken.
His hair grows out with each form like a super saiyan. By meteoric burst it's SSJ3 hair.
Hes more like frieza, I think, galactic conquerer, uses a form that restricts his power at first.

1. Ocean is virtually featless. You cannot accurately assume it to be above Orochi and Psykorochi, but have it be equal if not below Sage.
2. Platinum S has no feats nor scaling that makes him be put above Orochi, let alon Psykorochi. 3. Psykorochi is EASILY above FP Orochi. Psykorochi was confident that he can take on Saitama, who casually one shotted Orochi.
4. None of characters you mentioned has any scaling nor feats above Orochi's Gaia Cannon (except Psykorochi). Orochi probably whoops Platinum S, Sage Centipede, and EOW combined.
Psykorochi > Orochi (Gaia Cannon) > EOW (EOW barely survived a serious Punch and one of its cannons can damage Garou, whereas Sage required several attacks to do so) >= Sage Centipede > Platinum S.

Monster garou and EOW has lot better durability feats than boros(EOW tanked a direct serious punch and is doing just fine till date. Monster garou not only tanked consecutive normal punch but matched it while Saitama was using 2 hands, in the webcomic he also tanked serious headbutt). Sorry to say but boros isn't that guy anymore

@@DimitriHellasin the psykos-orochi fight tastumami destroyed like a huge ass area with her telekinesis right? So for her telekinesis to not even be able to move the ship it would mean the ship is tough as hell and heavy enough for tatsumaki to not be able to move
@@TheBackShotter Aside from its sheer size, the core of the ship probably contained a massive amount of energy. Since she can't directly lift Saitama thanks to his own energy, I wouldn't be surprised if the raw power of the ships core prevented her from moving it.
You also have to remember that the ship covered a whole city in the OPM world (which are small country sized) when it’s barrage destroyed all of it, and considering that the ship is absolutely massive

Released Boros already is much, much faster, and can easily one tap every single member, only being contested by Platinum S, who should still be slower by quite a tad bit. This is already giving Platinum S an extremely high interpretation, while having Boros be much slower. Release Form Boros should be comparable to the likes of PsykoOrochi, and Meteoric Burst is just overkill.
@@beyondlost660 eh a full potential platinum sperm would be a good fight for released but the others playing the range game and distracting boros would give them the edge until boros starts taking out the weaker ones first leaving platinum last but he’ll enjoy and savor this fight as even tho their weaker making him exert a decent or large chuck of his released state power even though it’s just platinum doing the work would make him commend platinum but maybe not the other cadres

The creator Yacine forgot to add that Evil Ocean Water tanked a direct serious punch to the face and is alive and well to do it again. Boros will definitely need CSRC to melt all the oceans of the earth. EOW is the most dangerous of them(threat lvl being unknown)
Can you imagine how strong a Cosmic Boros'd be ? He'd be casually shooting off multiplanetary beams at the very least (so would Garou's supernova attack) and if he won't run out of energy through some knowledge of the forces of the universe, he can regen infinitely and might even have instant regen or some sort of restoration ability considering his regen was already top tier. If he can somehow break his limiter as well, it's game over for Garou.
If garou went to force saitama to surpase him, now put boros who Alone is debatable as strong or stronger than monster garou, put that boost, plus having a far higher potential, cosmic boros wouldve been broken fr

Tatsumaki easily carried and twisted psychorochi while she was injured, had difficulty carrying Saitama when normal, Boros literally kicked Saitama to the moon. That’s how much stronger he is than the rest of the monster association

I want to know how much energy Boros would need to move with to instantly melt the ship the way he did when rushing Saitama. I think they mentioned metal knight analyzing the ship’s construction. I want to say the alloys were stronger than anything he had and he wasn’t just looking at circuits and such.

He doesn't want to feel Boros the excitement he is looking and it's clear.
Saitama punched him first the same he punched other enemies. Because no one survived. And when Boros survived he gradually increased his punch.
He can one-punch Boros but he never wants Boros to get excited because Saitama himself looking for excitement.
It was never stated throughout the series that saitama can just choose how powerful his punches. Correct me if I'm wrong but there are no times he had weak punches, not to mention his fighting someone that can shock him with speed so why would he held back?
He has to consciously hold back. If he punches too hard, earth would break...
saitama always do punches with the same effort you do to joke around with someone. Thats how strong he is
He also has the serious series of attacks. Those attacks symbolize he is punching harder than usual
OPM HAS power creep, but we don't notice because Saitama is such an outlier it raises the average absurdly.
In truth, Genos is constantly getting stronger and faster, and so is Sonic and especially Garou. The typical monsters the Hero Association fight are constantly getting stronger and appearing more often, and many are getting left behind. And the standards of power (leaving Saitama aside) are increasing rapidly. Garou and Blast are the most obvious examples of this, but it is a general tendency.
In fact we could count the exponential growth in the Saitama vs Cosmic Garou as a form of power creep, which would be the most extreme of all in the series, literally growing to compare normal day-to-day actions like sneezing to a planetary power level. Of course this was reset so it never really happened
So there is power creep, its just that Saitama always keeps his title as the power ceiling and that he's slowly growing in power too, so relatively, we never see much of a change.
well garou WAS getting stronger constantly but nowadays seeing as he forgot all his techniques he learned as a monster and he's not hunting constantly his growth has stagnated a bit
Saitama is the only reason why a character like Boros could appear early.
genos is the actual shonen protagonist. he has a tragic backstory, a reason to fight for the side of good, and is constantly getting powerups.
the problem is he showed up in episode 2, not 1, so he is always slightly behind and instead of barely winning then powering up, he keeps losing then powering up.

Boros is the best villian hands down in OPM from a power/design standpoint (Garou is better overall storyline wise though). I didn't like in the manga how Garou ended up just being a God puppet and it wasn't even his own power that let him fight Saitama. Where as Boros was just himself, no help included.
It does make you wonder how cracked out a god amped meteoric burst Boros would be.
Well at least, even though we don't like that Cosmic garou was god amped, he reached monster garou(planetary lvl) from human garou in weeks. That shows you exactly what garou can do on his own by sheer determination. The best character in OPM

Boros is planet surface lvl, only thing that makes him star is the anime mistranslation and the guidebook reporter that judged from the name of an attack. CS(actually P)RC planet surface destruction is a suicide attack since boros is useless after that. We saw how after everything, boros still had little amount of energy in his hair to manage a little chat with saitama, and then the hair turned white and he died after. This is valid proof.
And if you prefer anime as more reliable, the later version of the anime corrected the mistranslation. Therefore, all official sources even the real databook, opm encyclopedia confirm that boros is planet surface lvl. The authors continue to remind us time and time again. They classify boros as an above dragon lvl threat like psychorochi(not god because he can't destroy the entire planet). And they compare boros to monster garou 2nd form

The only thing boros has above Monster garou is raw power, DC and regen speed.
Physical strength: Monster garou shifted tectonic plates and deformed the planet, confirmed planet lvl feat, better than CSRC (planet surface lvl). Boros kicking Saitama to moon in about 3 secs is calculated dragon lvl feat. And even if, in the webcomic monster garou kicked Saitama to mars
Speed: Garou's foundation has always been speed. Coupled with garou's adaptation and boros amateur fighting pattern, boros won't even be able to touch him just like in Saitama case. His reaction speed is also unrivaled, making sure in the last minute he never gets hit and dies when he's meant to
Durability: Cannot be compared. Consecutive normal punch is more than enough to slaughter boros if not for regen, garou tanked his own and was fairly okay. In webcomic, garou also took serious headbutt. Saitama didn't need serious punch, just like he didn't need consecutive normal punch to beat beast king in s1 ep 2 or 3. Not to mention that EOW tanked a direct serious punch and is well and fit till date
IQ and BIQ: No argument here. Clearly, boros learnt nothing from traveling through the universe/galaxy(more likely galaxy. Looks like he was wanking himself here) apart from sensing energy, which goes to ability not iq. Boros entire being is energy, naturally he's meant to be able to sense energy too
Fighting skills and stamina(also endurance): Boros dies after all energy is exhausted. Garou's character and personality would never allow him to lose a fight. He would just remember his childhood again, he will gain stamina from nowhere and power up as always. Adding his martial arts skills is overkill, let's not mention them
Adding garou's martial arts, his unwavering determination, his adaptation and ability to grow several times stronger any battle, monster garou wins mid-high diff.

I think it's hilarious how surprising or keeping up with saitama is instantly a way better feat than anything any character can do to an S class hero because Saitama is just that strong compared to everyone else

Well it was Cosmic Garou because a seer can’t “see” Saitama, and Cosmic Garou without copying Saitama would only match Boros.
And yes Boros vs anyone that is not Saitama, Blast or Cosmic Garou would be an overkill…

There's a reason he was the season 1 finale. Because of how strong he is in comparison to every other villain in the series until Garou; to give perspective of how strong Saitama REALLY is.
Everything up to that point was a cake walk, and suddenly this guy offers a 'real fight' to the, so far, gag strength character 'One Punch Man' that has been strong enough to kill literally everything else in one punch.
Every villain up to Garou would get folded by Boros, with a high difference. That was the point of Boros' character. To be this insane endgame character that could shit on any other character-- except Saitama.
Boros without his armor would blitz the cadres long before they could react. Even if Black S transformed into Platinum S, he'd just be delaying the inevitable. Meteoric Burst Boros would just be straight up murder.

Honestly its both, imagine like any fight qith batman in it right? It's worth noting exactly what killed Boros: his own Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon attack. Saitama didn't kill him necessarily with a Serious Punch but that punch reflected the energy beam back at Boros and Boros was still conscious (although dying) afterwards. Thus I think it's safe to say that an attack has to *at a minimum* be at the planet-destroying level AND the monsters themselves have to be a God level threat to be able to hold a candle to Boros.
It didn't reflect the beam back. Saitama split the beam down the middle which still went behind Saitama. Stop making stuff up.

Meteoric Burst Boros literally kills the strongest characters in above Dragon level (or disaster level unknown in the manga).
He would kill Sage centepede, Evil Natural Ocean, Platinum, Psyorochi and Tatsumaki all at the same Time.
The only One that could give him some Battle Is Peak Monster Garou, but even him would probably die with His attack to destroy the Earth.
The only character that could've maybe Gotten as powerful as to defeat him was Pre-redraw Pheonix Man as he was literally immortal and would get stronger after every Time he got killed. (Meaning that after Boros killed him a lot he would be in a point strong enough to challenge him, and i would say Boros would kill him anyway as he would turn him to nothing with His strongest attack).
Boros destroys anyone that Isn't Blast, Cosmic Garou, GOD and Saitama.

I think people underplay Rovers durability
the punch from saitama may not have been aiming to kill him but as saitama doesnt know the strength between most monsters cause he ones shots them all as stated by himself, Rover must be atleast durable enough for saitama to tell the difference between him and most dragon level monsters that saitama casually one shots.
Also i believe Rover was taught to sit by saitama and not that bang and bomb hurt him since he seems entirely uneffected by their attack while after saitama hurt him he started squirming and barking, plus he seems very obidient to even weaker people now in the manga.

I think even Released Boros would be overkill, since if you really analyze the Boros vs Saitama fight (credits to what I say next all go to Satori, he's made an entire video going into detail just how broken Boros really is), casual Saitama blocks or dodges ALL of his attacks, save for a few when Boros actually outsped/surprised casual Saitama. Like the punch to the stomach when Saitama was defending against one armed Boros with both hands, or the attack straight to the back of Saitama's head, which you can clearly see his eyes widen in surprise. Both were clean direct hits, that's a ridiculous feat
Not to mention, if you look at the manga version of Meteoric Burst Boros, you can see that he hit Saitama, charged at him and sent him flying to the moon all while Saitama was still reacting. In the 3rd panel (pre-moon kick), you can see Saitama is still facing upwards from Boros, initial attack.
Saitama after the moon kick doesn't get blitzed or knocked around because he started using more power, like he had steadily been through the entire fight

Maybe Blast rescued him after Saitama left the ship. Though that would imply that Blast knows how strong Saitama is, which doesn't seem to be the case when he meets him later, so I don't know.

One thing about Boros that gets overlooked is that he was the power source of his own ship. The sphere that breaks after the serious punch, which so many people mistake as a regenerative marble like Melzargard's, is actually the sphere we see above his throne. As Boros said, as long the power sphere is intact the ship won't fall. I also think Boros charges the sphere when he's sat on the throne, but either way that's why the sphere breaks when Boros is defeated and why only then the ship starts falling (a captain goes down with his ship? Well Boros is so awesome the ship goes down with him).
Point is, on top of everything else we see with Boros, the dude is powering a city-sized space ship at the same time, which is freaking ridiculous. And I totally agree with everything in this vid. Great job!

considering one stated boros and garou are about equal in strength boros obviously takes the win with ease plus he was able to survive multiple hits from saitama so not only would he win he could probably do it with the armor on but we also don't know how much the armor limited his abilities so
Cadres are dragon level, so were Boros’ generals. And he eclipsed his generals by so much in power it’s not even funny. You’d need Orochi and Platnium S to even possibly content with him.

I think an important thing to note for Saitama being able to one punch Boros is, Boros FULLY regenerated AND was at his full power with meteoric burst, and Saitama finished him with a single hit then, meaning he could have done it the whole time, just didn't.
Plat s and Psychos Orochi are the only ones who can even slow him down, and even together they at most would push him to his furthest.
psychos orochi is on a whole other level compair to platinum s, idk why you would put them on the same tier, platinum s is massively faster but aside from that he doesnt come close in any other stats

I always saw Saitama as fighting Boros instead of one punching him because he saw some of himself in Boros.
The desire to have someone match your strength and have a true battle and test, that’s all Saitama wanted, and so he was at least happy he could be that for someone else.
The fight with Boros also kinda changed Saitama, he became less obsessed with finding a match cause he saw the dark side of that fate
I do agree, people forget and sometimes mistake how the plot unfolds in OPM verse, a season 1 or an arc 1 boss is not weaker to other bosses succeedingly.

We don't know the rate of growth, but during the Cosmic Garou fight, it clearly states that Saitama is *always* getting stronger. Nobody else notices because he's already so far above everyone.
His rate of growth goes infinite and exponential during a fight with an equal opponent, but he is always growing.
