Best explanation I heard is when Golden S has his arm chopped off he states something along the line of "my arm of 12 trillion" which could mean he lost that many cells when it was lopped off, and then when he became Platinum S he was back to 54 trillion meaning that Platinum S is a combination of an additional 12 trillion cells for him to be created, making it overall 66 trillion for Platinum S.

Psykorochi is also buffed by God whereas Plat S isn't. If he was buffed by God he'd be insanely powerful. My guess is that with a God buff he'd be able to multiply himself even as Plat S. Imagine that

Platinum Sperm being able to travel at over 4x the speed of light means PsykOrochi’s sub relativistic continental attacks would literally never hit him since he can just outrun them, go around the Earth within way less than a second, and hit her from behind(that sounded sus but he is sperm after all).
The problem is how inconsistent mangas/animes treat fire and speed. Theoretically if you can travel near the speed of light and if you have mass then you can literally lay a near infinite powered smack which would destroy/insta-kill the hit target. I can see that since Psykorochi is tied to the planet that he might have some kind of power where they can feel Plantinum S location and then it becomes a matter if the telekinesis can hold him in place or the similar technique used against Tatsumaki can crush Platinum S with his own power. Personally I think Platinum S should be able to wipe them out instantly, but unfortunately sheer speed tends to never work like it would if this was reality.
@MrWirelesscaller there's one thing you got wrong, speed (andpretty much everything els is pretty damn consistent in OPM, aside from Saitama ofc. Though, even he is mostly consistent in speed, just the power of his punches differ

It's really lucky for the people of OPM universe that they have someone like King that can literally destroy Psykorochi,Platinum S, Evil Ocean Water, Sage Centiped, Homelesd Emperor, Vomitaded Fuhrer Ugly, Cosmic Fear Garou all by himself.

My explanation for gold-S vs platinum-S is that gold-S contains 54 trillion stocks, but they aren’t all merged, many are merged, but some are left over in case he gets defeated then the leftover, unmerged cells can escape or give him basically a second life. However platinum-S contains the 54 trillion cells all merged (apart from a couple which are left as safeties. Because of this, gold-S is very strong, this power coming from the merged cells, and he is also larger and more muscular, this coming from the unmerged cells allowing him to alter his body shape.But platinum-S is fully merged, making him much faster and stronger but possibly less durable.

I hope Fighting Mode Orochi comes back somehow. Maybe he can regenerate into that form later in the series from the peice of Orochi that Drive Knight salvaged. Might be interesting if he joined Blast's team. If that is indeed Lord Boros we saw in Blast's team, we can assume that he is recruiting the best of the best to fight God.
Ok, im not one to count "reaction time" as a speed feat, but if you can see and react to the the fightest guy in the verse one tap the second fastest guy in the verse, and the "fastest" S-Class hero didnt see anything, thats honestly a fucking incredible feat.
Platinum should honestly take this.
Psyrochi has one fatal flaw, her body has a weak point and is from the entrance to the tower and her roots connecting to earth. (Like tatsumaki who was able to enter undetected)
Platinum could easily go inside her and kill her.
She honestly shouldn't be able to react.
The sheer difference in speed makes platinum way more powerful.
I would even say if platinum goes for a frontal assault he could kill her, the body of orochi could easily by damage by S class heroes like Bang, Bomb, Darkshine, Atomic and drive knight (and platinum is way stronger than all of them).
Honestly she should never hit him with an energy blast.
She has telekinesis. Speed is no issue.

Telekinesis Is useless when you can't react to your enemy (he Is Faster than light), besides enemies with a strong aura/spirit can withstand psychic attacks like Golden S against Tatsumaki in the webcomic. Or even Saitama vs Tatsumaki.
Point being Telekinesis Is not anything special against strong opponets, at least in OPM.
The S class heroes could only face psykorochi after she was extremely damaged and weakened by tatsumaki. She gets all her roots ripped out and squeezed of the vital essence they were sapping from the monsters.
Those S class feats have nothing to do with the full power version of her that fought Tatsumaki 1v1. Did you not think tatsumaki was weakened when she was about to get killed by fuhrer ugly either?

The point was that Psyorochi's body was nothing impossible to beat for platinum, that despite their power, their body wasn't unbeatable.
@@mikeym.4724 except what feats do you have that platinum S or garou at that point was on Psykorochi level. She was relative to tatsumaki. Garou didn’t show any feats near continental until later when he could bring islands out the ocean.
So, to summarize/oversimplify this fight, psykorochi is stronger than Platinum S when it comes to pure destruction, but Platinum S has a higher chance of winning in a hypothetical fight between the two.
I can see that happening considering platinum S didn’t display any powerful attacks on the scale of what Psychorochi did

I wouldn't say an individual Black S is low-S Class level since the A Class Swordsmen including Spring Mustachio can take them on. It's probably more like Above Tiger like Kombu Infinity who took down Golden Ball and (presumably) suppressed Spring Mustachio, so able to take down an *average* A class with ease.

By the sine you see him in America, he already turned the Eiffel Tower into a pretzel in France, fixed the leaning tower of Giza, and turned the pyramids upside down. I like black sperm since the start when he didnt seem concerned when opposing orochi as the monster king. He has my respect as he manages to become a strong contender for the strongest monster through his own power rather than God's gift. Plus, he has limitless potential as long as he increases his cell stock. I guess same could be given to pheonix man and his rebirth effect.
A problem I have with the theory that Golden S is used specifically to deal with acids etc. Is that platinum is also a noble metal, meaning it is also resistant to acid

psykorochi has not only a constant psychic barrier surround her that would defend her from anything platinum S has on his arsenal, but as well her psychic abilities to assist on her attacks, differently from when fighting tatsumaki her telekinesis abilities would be useful here since platinum has no chance of resisting her psychic powers on that form. She can always sense his energy and lift him in the air stopping all kind of movement and allowing her to one shot him. Its way too clear that platinum S has no chance of ever getting through that barrier since tatsumaki tossing whole mountains at it wasnt enough. So there's literally no sense on saying it could go both ways when we know he has no chance from the start because of that barrier and her telekinetic advantages

The thing about black sperm having the same reaction speed doesn't seem logical to me. There is the fact that as black sperm it is incapable of perceiving atomic cuts. I think it's simply a failure that had to be assumed so that black sperm knew of Saitama's power, since in the weeb comic he is watching the fight.
Leaving that aside, there is also the fact that a single cell of black sperm is superior to a class a is contradicted later when black sperm with a single cell remaining could be defeated by a cub.
I also have to say that golden sperm and platinum and their number of cells is a complicated issue. But the interpretation that I have always given is that golden sperm is made up of 43 trillion cells, its arm contains 12 trillion, but being a fusion it is not losing its power by losing its arm, it continues to be an indivisible being. Losing an arm does not make it stop being a fusion of 43 trillion or recovering the arm will not make it a fusion with a greater number of cells. And obviously platinum is superior, his attitude towards king, how surprised he is atomic, that child emperor told king that if he merged again he would be much stronger, that in the manga he faces garou monster while golden in the weeb comic faces garou pre monster, etc.
