Jogo is my favorite character in jjk. He’s a curse who, in his quest to prove he’s better than humanity, instead discovers that he is more human than he realized. This humanity was what held him back as far as strength goes. He didn’t fight for the sake of it without purpose or meaning. He fought for his friends and for the life he wished all curses had (the life of humans). He was never going to be the strongest like sukuna or gojo because he was selfless. And perhaps reaching that goal is the revolution.

If Jogo had been allowed to grow as a curse, he could have killed all of humanity. There is a theory that all the volcanoes erupting at once would kill every human on earth.
Jogoat fought Gojo, fought Sukuna, never ran, never begged. He is truly the Jogoat. At full potential he'd be the 3rd strongest in the verse to me. At the point of his death, he was below Sukuna, Gojo, Yuki and Yuta. I don't ser anyone else taking the W against him except maybe kashimo. Also I believe that despite not being as strong as 15 fingers Sukuna, he could beat Mahoraga because his thing is firepower and we haven't really seen Mahoraga trying to evade attacks, more like block/tank them and regen.
You’re joking right? There’s like 10 characters that can beat jogo, jogos already at full potential, has multiple fire abilities, a domain and a maximum. Theres literally nothing that he can do against many characters stronger than him
In my opinion, Jogo has already reached the peak of his strength, so rather than becoming stronger or more skilled, his existence has become rooted in the pursuit of wisdom; to move beyond simply being the strongest Disaster Curse into the one who will pave the way into the new era. Dagon embodies the fear of what lurks in the ocean, Mahito embodies the fear of humans and what they can, and Hanami embodies the fear of nature and the dangers and isolation it can bring, but Jogo embodies the fear of volcanoes, of an inevitable disaster that cannot be stopped or fully predicted beyond the dreadful imminence of it occuring. Jogo is an embodiment of the fear of something completely beyond human control, and so when he is put up against two humans that can overcome him, it demonstrates something Jogo hadn't considered. Rather than a world without humans, where only the pure negativity and frankness of Curses would remain, Gojo and Sukuna represent a potential future of a world full of pure humans that would produce no Curses, and that the Disaster Curses are merely stepping stones to that more enlightened future filled with beings like Gojo and Sukuna. When faced with insurmountable strength that cannot be overcome no matter his own growth and development, Jogo reluctantly accepts the truth and very quickly becomes apathetic to his own ambitions and desires, completely abandoning the notion that he could face Sukuna and that his personal victory or defeat doesn't matter in the face of his goal being achieved and Sukuna ushering in the future he and the other Disaster Curses desire. It's only when Sukuna stokes his ego, saying that while total victory is beyond Jogo, he might still be able to at least land a hit against him and thus gain a measure of control over the King of Curses and the future development of the world of Curses that Jogo is trying to achieve. That encouragement pushes Jogo to struggle in the face of impossible odds for the smallest victory, because it doesn't matter whether he wins or loses. As for the matter of Domains, Sukuna insults Jogo for thinking like a loser, but Jogo knows that Sukuna can instantly defeat his Coffin of the Iron Mountain with his own Malevolent Shrine, and that Sukuna wouldn't hesitate to use his Domain to avoid losing, so Jogo resolves to try and land a hit in a battle of pure Jujutsu ability rather than in a battle of Domains that's he's wise enough to not waste time and energy on. Sukuna's reprimand still has weight, because Jogo is not truly running wild and free, unconcerned with failure like he should be if he's truly resolved himself to being unconcerned with victory or defeat as he said he was, but that's just it; Jogo doesn't just want to fight, he wants to win and feel validation in his convictions and belief through the affirmation of his own strength. Unlike Hanami, Mahito or Dagon he cannot find exhilaration in a battle of equals because the only people who can challenge him are so far beyond his abilities that it's not even funny, and while he cannot find the vindication he seeks in being the strongest in the face of the insurmountable obstacles of Gojo and Sukuna, Sukuna's acknowledgement of him being strong even by the standards is a form of vindication Jogo did not know he needed or desired, having been so fixated on proving himself only to himself. Jogo is not a coward, but he is a wizened old man who has been humbled time and again, desperately craving to fulfill his youthful fantasies but knowing in his heart of hearts that they are beyond him and that he can only chase a fleeting shadow of those dreams simply because he has come to understand and begrudgingly accept reality instead of living in denial or youthful ignorance.
So basically it's all comes down to 2 things: live for yourself or live for others. I guess the reason why Jogo lost was because he just wanted to enjoy the same life as humans do which is why he prides himself on negativity because it is more honest. So in short he thought because he is more honest with himself that made him better only for Sakuna to make him realize that was holding him back. Sakuna is a force and ironically Jogo was probably more human than he realized compared to Sakuna. In the end., the only true difference is power level and how hungry you are for it.
Jogo could have been rhe very fire Sukuna wields I think, that strong. But in reality of what he was, he's a shining example of what not to be. Don't be so hard on yourself, there's more to you than that
well there is one think that jogo definitly wasnt, and that would be a coward. i mean this guy got his ass handed by gojo and still faced him a second time or accepting sukunas challenge were it was obvious from the pure dread he radiates that there is no victory to be found.
Imo the only major villains who posed a SIGNIFICANT threat to everyone were Sukuna, Kenjaku, and Mahito. Everyone else just showed up and caused trouble, but got absolutely beaten later.
Jogoat simply didn't get true near death experiences like Hanami, Mahito or Dagon. He was getting smoked on every fight, unlike the other curses that got to fight "equals" to experiment their powers.
Honestly themes like this in jjk seem to point to it criticizing the pursuit of strength itself. Would jogo really have been more satisfied without camaraderie, in exchange for pride?
Is a flames purpose only to burn and nothing more, or is it just as much a stepping stone for new life to emerge and prosper. What comes first, creation or destruction?
This is why curse naoya was the only true curse after sakuna. Bro didn’t give a shit about humans or curse spirits or anything. Even as a human that nigga only cares for strength and power. A true chad ✊
I just think all these villains - aside from Kenjaku - have an inferiority complex. I'll include Sukuna there too. A lot of ppl seem to think because he puts out a nonchalant facade, he must believe he is the strongest. I'd say generally, in real life ans of course in fiction, those folks are the ones harboring the worst supremacist behaviors ans beliefs... and remember... you only desire supremacy when you believe you're above all...while also secretly believing you're beneath something. Supremacy is, unfortunately, something you must constantly prove. Kenjaku, and Gojo too as non-villains, have nothing to prove, which can be truly scary and admirable (depending on the context). Hell, I might get a side-eye for this, but that's sort of why I like Nobara too. She knew her rank, she did her best, and kept reminding herself to be her best version and do her best. Nothing to prove to anyone else. Confidence. I like it. Nice video!!!!
99% sure that Sukuna was just an afterdeath hallucination because the real Sukuna would not fucking say that shit and when we flash back to reality Sukuna is deadpan staring in disgust at Jogo also the real Sukuna would NEVER use Gojo as a measuring stick
Jogoat is immune to all domains due to having a heavenly restriction and his own domain expansion😂 fraudkuna is toast.😹😹😹 Jjk ends by jogoat being summoned from the curse realm 😹
You dont get it what curse really is. curse are things that happened in nature that coming from human's negative emotion. So, in this case, disaster is curse, weird things that happened in school is curse, etc. but, human can be curse too, in the past. in heian era, stray bandit in the road between towns are curse. the famous example is shuten doji. So, gojo said, curse that can talk, is oftenly caused by human's conflict between life and death. in this case, we can conclude that curse that talking is actually the same as people who think sacrifacing other's for their own good is always right. the real life example for this kind of curse is woke. Jogo is, example if woke is intentionally making volcanoes around the world in chaos. well, I hope woke isnt doing that
No hate, but who needs this explanation? Sukuna literally spells it out as he kills Jogo. Just reading the manga means anyone should already know this. Then again, from my experience most people are FAR more casual when reading manga and actually miss like 90% of conversational stuff, so maybe people DO need the explanation lmao. (This isn't meant to be a flex, I'm not some literary genius, most casual readers just honestly forget stuff 2 chapters later already ngl)
Oh, a LOT of people need this explanation especially after Gojover incident. I've seen and heard lots of Fraudkuna shouting by people who are illiterate, there are even people saying Sukuna winning is asspull while saying nothing when Gojo clearly breaks rule by RCT his own CT as lots of people chapter 226-227 seems to be confused on the display of all the techniques that wasn't thought to be possible yet. From the pattern so far, it's clear that even the power system of JJKverse isn't fully established yet, simply that not everyone has discovered the limit on what's possible or not. But most manga readers simply are illiterate, forgot things that are established (which is fair), or just ragehating to things even if the foreshadow is clearly there (I'm looking at you Fraudkuna shouters).
@@Username-cs1bi Well, while I agree with what you said, I don't really care for those dumbass people needing the explanation honestly. And let's not be too negative and acknowledge that these are NOT most people. 99% of readers do NOT engage with the community or in character hating. 99% of readers are casual and just fall under the category of easily forgetting stuff which you mentioned. But the people that just hate on Sukuna or ignore his words frankly will never understand the series anyways since they think they know better than the author himself. The whole Fraudkuna memeing is why I'm SO HAPPY that Gojo himself called Sukuna stronger than him. He didn't say he was killed by a worthy enemy or an equal, he specifically said he is happy that he was killed by someone stronger than him. And now with the newest chapter we know that Sukuna held back on Gojo. He didn't use the cursed tool which Yorozu made, which in case people forgot, was shown on a coverpage before as one of 2 cursed tools that heian era Sukuna owned, the other was a spear. So this tool is one of his OG favorite weapons. And also he didn't use his real body, which obviously has advantages due to the 4 arms and possibly evolved brain, because through Tengen we know that evolved humans look similar to Sukuna, thus implying that Sukuna evolved through sheer power and skill even before Tengen, with immortality, could. So Sukuna was literally going easy on Gojo. I was always saying Gojo will die, because if he lived or won, the series would become stale and end too fast with Gojo just killing Kenjaku in a minute. So Gojo HAD TO lose. But I fully expected Gojo to Sukunas to use his entire toolkit and full potential. But nope, Gojo wasn't even able to make him fight seriously, it's CRAZY. The best he could do is make him a little nervous. Now with the new chapter, I have no idea how crazy Gege will go with this, but Kashimos technique allowing him to reproduce ALL phenomena electricity can produce is actually god like. Honestly, Kashimos technique, if we consider the real life possibiliites of what electricity can do, is above Gojos. But of course it kills you after using it once so yeah, Kashimos done for either way q.q And his opponent is Sukuna, so not even god like powers like that will be enough probably s.s

Miwa responded calmly, "Nah, I'd take the backshots."
off topic. But The maplestory music was a great touch
No he did he turn into jogoat he one shot sukuna like a oblivious
If Jogo had been allowed to grow as a curse, he could have killed all of humanity. There is a theory that all the volcanoes erupting at once would kill every human on earth.
how dare you not like my pookie bear jogoat the strongest curse😡
Theres literally nothing that he can do against many characters stronger than him
Super insightful video I love it!
Calling Jogo a coward is wild!!!
fr considering he only fought the top two in the verse
That maplestory music slapped me with nostalgia lmfao
Jogo the JObber got done dirty. Gojo put the hands on him and wasnt the same since
So basically it's all comes down to 2 things: live for yourself or live for others.
Love that the BGM is Maplestory!!!
Very happy that someone recognizes my childhood
Jogo could have been rhe very fire Sukuna wields I think, that strong. But in reality of what he was, he's a shining example of what not to be. Don't be so hard on yourself, there's more to you than that
Jogo is strong.
Gege just put him up against the strongest sorcerers
well there is one think that jogo definitly wasnt, and that would be a coward. i mean this guy got his ass handed by gojo and still faced him a second time or accepting sukunas challenge were it was obvious from the pure dread he radiates that there is no victory to be found.
I still respect him and i dont believe he is a coward
Coward is a dumb word here. He might be confused, flawed and lost wich makes me like him more.
For the longest time, I thought he was just weak because he got absolutely bodied so early into the show
Jogoat could’ve been the next gojo unlike some 5 minute fraud
Jogo > goku
Yuta negs lil bro 😹
@@nasteay7497 roll his 🍑 up to a newport and smoked it in one drag too
@@achilles112debatable as hell
In my opinion, Yuta in strength is somewhere in between Jogo (8-9 fingers) and 15F Shibuya Sukuna. So he’d likely defeat Jogo.
Jogo turned up to Dagon dying very conveniently after toji had killed him and left with megumi 💀
The Main Man Nanamin🥹
he’s not a curse. he’s the strongest.
Imo the only major villains who posed a SIGNIFICANT threat to everyone were Sukuna, Kenjaku, and Mahito. Everyone else just showed up and caused trouble, but got absolutely beaten later.
Best disaster curse by far
wait so let me get this straight we have a jogo and a gojo? and they both end up dying in the series? erm what the sigma
jogo needs the mahindset
Jogoat is my favorite jjk character
Making him fight sukuna and Gojo was just torture
Jogoat simply didn't get true near death experiences like Hanami, Mahito or Dagon. He was getting smoked on every fight, unlike the other curses that got to fight "equals" to experiment their powers.
what about the time he almost gets kill by gojo in the first time they fought?
Jogo might not have gotten stronger for acting like a proper curse but his death was alot more peaceful compared to most of the other curses.
How would the other three have Looked if they "evolved"/learned about stuff like mahito did?
I agree with everything but 9:40 jogo wasn’t a completing he was getting demolished and toyed with in both fights
He may not be a true curse, but he was my jogoat❤
If it wasn’t for bruh, Maki wouldn’t have gotten those sick tatts
Honestly themes like this in jjk seem to point to it criticizing the pursuit of strength itself. Would jogo really have been more satisfied without camaraderie, in exchange for pride?
Jogo was never a curse… he was the king of curses, jogoat
Jogoat had 2 major fights and it was against the Kobe and Shaq of the verse, give him a fucking break
Is a flames purpose only to burn and nothing more, or is it just as much a stepping stone for new life to emerge and prosper. What comes first, creation or destruction?
If the author says Jogo is a cursed spirit, then Jogo is.
DON'T YOU DARE DISRESPECT!! MY JOGOAT!! LIKE THAT!! 😡🤬
This is why curse naoya was the only true curse after sakuna. Bro didn’t give a shit about humans or curse spirits or anything. Even as a human that nigga only cares for strength and power. A true chad ✊
Nice 👍
No dissng my King Jogoat
wow did you use an OST from dark soul 3 here ??
Abyss watchers nice touch.
A man of taste
8:11 No he did not. While he got stronger he did not reach his full potential so that does not mean he is stronger than Jogo here.
99% sure that Sukuna was just an afterdeath hallucination because the real Sukuna would not fucking say that shit and when we flash back to reality Sukuna is deadpan staring in disgust at Jogo
also the real Sukuna would NEVER use Gojo as a measuring stick
How do you know it was out of disgust sukuna said jogo piqued his interest so it could have been out of respect for him
He even brought up gojo before the fire clash so I wouldn’t put it past him also sukuna was able to speak to kashimo too
Bro if nah, if nah it’s had to fight homo and sukuna as his only two 1v1s, you would not be saying this. Even sukuna acknowledged Jogo as a powerhouse
He wasn't a true curse he was the true best girl. Cant believe sukuna beats women!!!
Maplestory
I feel sorry for Jogo.
Kinda.
Disaster curses thinking they are the real humans yet if they were to eliminate all humans they would disappear, lol.
He looks like eddy from ed edd and eddy
Jogoat is immune to all domains due to having a heavenly restriction and his own domain expansion😂 fraudkuna is toast.😹😹😹 Jjk ends by jogoat being summoned from the curse realm 😹
I think he'd be as strong as 8 or 9 of sukuna's fingers
You dont get it what curse really is. curse are things that happened in nature that coming from human's negative emotion.
So, in this case, disaster is curse, weird things that happened in school is curse, etc. but, human can be curse too, in the past. in heian era, stray bandit in the road between towns are curse. the famous example is shuten doji.
So, gojo said, curse that can talk, is oftenly caused by human's conflict between life and death. in this case, we can conclude that curse that talking is actually the same as people who think sacrifacing other's for their own good is always right. the real life example for this kind of curse is woke.
Jogo is, example if woke is intentionally making volcanoes around the world in chaos. well, I hope woke isnt doing that
Woke are oftenly saying that they are more human than kind people
dont bad mouth my mf jogoat
for me the talk sukuna had with jogo isnt real, its just Jogo's imagination
I have some bad news for you, anime only - Sukuna wouldn't be having a flashback to something that was in Jogo's imagination. 😬
@@DarkAuraLord true... just saw that in manga recently, so yeah it was him

@@ruru7169 you really think Gege would do that? Just kill off a beloved character he's spent the entire manga building up? 😏😏
😭 no worries man I guess if people know they wanted to be entertained or something
@@Username-cs1bi
Well, while I agree with what you said, I don't really care for those dumbass people needing the explanation honestly.
But of course it kills you after using it once so yeah, Kashimos done for either way q.q
And his opponent is Sukuna, so not even god like powers like that will be enough probably s.s
"Throughout hell and earth, I alone am the goated one."
Jogo bullies a cursed spirit.
