Join me on this 5.5 hour hop across Asia from Seoul Incheon in South Korea to the Thai carrier's hub of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. I will be flying on Thai Airways' most abundant business class offering onboard their A350 fleet. Thai Airways has been showing some signs of degradation. How did I find the carrier's service? I got a chuckle from their use of a Thai Smile napkins. That's like Singapore Airlines using napkins from Scoot. If the Asiana/Korean Air merger goes through Asiana will leave Star Alliance for Skyteam. Presumably they will still contract out the Asiana lounges to Star Alliance as they do now for Oneworld members. It'll probably get worse. I hope Thai Airways can fix their financial problems. I would love to see them return service to North America.

As a regular TG passenger, I would say that one of the things that THAI couldn't get right is the meal presentation and their IFE post-bankruptcy is just sad.
Thank you! Would you say it's worth trying out the new Thai first class or the business class to Europe? Or will I be equally disappointed 😓
@TraverseFlightReview Personally, I would say First on TG is worth a try. However, I am still actively avoiding their long-haul business class on the grounds of consistency, and you could get better products/services for similar price.
But their economy is my default choice, though.
I had great experience on Thai Royal Silk business class from London to Bangkok 😊

Service was very friendly. Food wasn't bad at all. But the product is getting so old!
Thai's catering had gone downhill quite a lot. May be they are trying to cut cost again?

the foil reference sort of reminds me of recently flying american airlines' first class transcon, lax-jfk. the meal was presented inside the metal pieces used for heating in the ovens, and not plated. it was odd and not appealing at all, as well as a challenge to eat everything out of the metal containers. the service was good; however, presentation lacking, and i was initially given the incorrect meal.

i have to critisize 2 aspects of your videos:
1. You dont tell us how much the price of the flightticket was
2. The explaining script underneath is too short aviable. For people where cant read english as well is it negative because the must always play backward to read it again.

The portion of the main dish is generous in salmon and rice but the presentation is awful.
I agree, i think presentation is half the points. They could have used better tableware or added some garnishing, but it came off looking like a cafeteria lunch...
