Gregory Ho Thai airways, Thai smile and Bangkok airways (all owned by the same people) do the best plane food I've had in my opinion. Nothing too fussy and always tastes fresh

The mysterious meat skewer you had at 21 minute is called "naaem" which is raw fermented pork mix with raw pork skin, we usually eat it with fresh chilli or down with beer :)
We have something similar which is raw calf beef sliced thinly and doused with lime and a finely ground peanut powder. Served with hot pepper and greens. Also usually eaten with beer or rice liquer.
Thai airways is amazing! My favourite airline ever. Their service is very homely and welcoming. Their traditional Thai food is superb and I've only been on Economy. Don't expect much from their international food menu tho - not as good as their Thai food menu. Im so glad you liked it as much as I did! Also loving your appreciation to my hometown food and culture!
Just a heads up, Thai Air has a preorder meal selection for Business and First Class. Pretty similar to Singapore's BTC.

Bangkok MRT station with royal thai-style decoration called "Sanam Chai" according to the location near Grand Palace and Wat Pho Temple. One of Bangkok Tourist Metro Station must visit. Not only Sanam Chai, but we also have another station with Chinese-Art called "Wat Mangkon", in the heart of Bangkok Chinatown or Yaowarat, near Wat Mangkon (Dragon Lotus Temple). Chinatown is eating oasis of Bangkok and big wholesale miscellaneous market "Sampeng Market".

Looked fantastic! Wish I could get proper Thai food, but it's all dumbied down around here. Went to a recent opening that was supposed to be " authentic ". Never opened the menu. Just asked for the hottest item they had and I wanted it Thai hot. It was lame. I cook with chili's in every meal. I guess I'll just keep looking.

I just visited Thailand in May. Wat pho is amazing and the Thai people are some of the friendliest iv met on my travels. Big buddah is also a must see if you go to phuket.

Speaking of "local look" and "local taste of a country"...it reminds me of the last time I was in Bangkok, it was absolutely mind-blowing to have a local bring you around and not only go to the typical grand palace or MBK mall...I was lucky enough to met a very nice local over eatmatch who basically gave me a free food tour of bangkok
This place is amazing experience just as all the places gone.bucket list such a blessing love watching and sharing with friends and family and of course the foooooood and drinks hahaha
