One of my best flights was with Qatar in First on A380 between Melbourne and Doha. I was the only F passenger and was made to feel like it was my own private jet. It was such an amazing experience I didn't want to leave the plane!

I’m always so impressed by your videos and style of recording. My partner and I just watched a similar seat review on SoloSoloTravel, so it was fun to see two separate takes on the same seat. 😊 You really should consider filming your resort stays (or even cheaper hotels), as you’d clearly be great at whatever you put up on here!

We went Swiss First on their 777 to Tokyo from Zurich in January. To me, the Swiss experience seemed so much better. I know it's different in the ground when you're with a carrier, not flying from their home airport, but still.... The on board also seemed better on Swiss. This is just my opinion of course and I haven't physically been on Qatar in First.
Did you get to access the ANA First Class lounge in Tokyo and the First Class check-in? I'm eyeing for the new Allegris Suites to be released on Swiss :) Thanks for sharing your experience!
We had the fabulous first class experience at Zurich. Checked in at the special first class check in at the A terminal and had breakfast there a la carte. They then collected us and escorted us to a special lift, passport control and a luxury van ride across the airport to the E terminal. Then the magic started.

Have been flying F on A380 DOHBKK 6-7 times, always been upgrades from J (Platinum) - Some times I have been escorted to my seat, once my seat was broken, two times one of the food options was gone before I had to order. But I do love the layout of F and I don't mind the openness. Just wish they operated more A380's ...
Actually yes to this I have to say, even during check-in there were only 3 occupants but by the time I got out of the lounge and to boarding the entire cabin was full! It seems Qatar likes to treat their Platinum frequent fliers with plenty of upgrades which makes me jealous since that doesnt exist with Air Canada 😭
@@TraverseFlightReview yea, you are normally upgraded after checkin, so once you are about to board and your boarding pass scans it beeps red.. and a few seconds later you get a first class boarding pass instead, its a small thing but an adrenaline rush for sure.... :D First time it happened I asked why my scan showed red, and they politely said I got a seat change, I got a bit frustrated and asked why.. "you been upgraded sir" .. I shut up quickly ..

The catering seemed below First standards. Other reviews on longer routes suggest that BKK gets a cheaper experience. Wonderful to have a Korean attendant on your flight for personal service. A great review.

Menus impossible to read, even on a 60" TV.
Lie the menu down flat and go in closer and do a slow pan down.
Even better especially with long menus, use still grabs of each section. Viewers can pause read, then move to the next one.
Would this be considered a better experience than QSuites? Is it an older product?
Based on what you’ve been showing I was a bit underwhelmed. I would not pay the premium on top of business class

Bonsoir 🇫🇷 yeah.. its a pretty old seat design so doors weren't invented back then 🤣 just kidding. But I must say that while its missing the doors, its wider than the lufthansa first class seat, but I can't say how it compares with La Première 😉

You need to blur the faces of people in your videos, it’s invasive and rude to include them without permission. Otherwise, this was a great review.
I thought the flight attendants know that they are boarding and it’s the premium passengers that generally get boarded first. He should have been alert and ready to receive and even escorted you to your seat. This is just unprofessionalism. And the world sees it
In his defence, I was the first to board into the cabin, but he didnt take the boarding pass to guide me to the seat 😓

Only flew QR once KUL DOH FRA in J both flights were bad. Everyone raves about them but maybe a 3 star airline at best. The lounge in DOH was also rubbish.

@@TraverseFlightReview 2-2-2 KUL DOH 787-8 to FRA no Q. No APU plane was 100 degrees on boarding. It had been sitting on the ramp in DOH with it 42C out. It was such a bad experience, I will never fly QR again.
@@TT-by7tv honestly, KUL/CGK/MNL gets the oldest planes from all of the ME3's 😭 such a shame since fares are the cheapest out of those airports... but omg can't imagine bus gates in the summer at DOH thats pretty wild 🤣
