Puffer coat purpose: survive winter. If you live in a climate that only goes to -5c you don’t need that coat. If you have a proper winter, well you will have snow boots. That is what you style it with. In winter (real winter) comfort comes first not style.

Why on earth almost everyone shows coats styled open? If it's warm enough to be in an unzipped coat, why bother wearing it? Such styling as you and many others show has no sense.

I was also surprised about that! My thoughts about it were that maybe a lot of people dread wearing - and thus buying - puffer coats, because they are shapeless and thus less feminine/stylish. So they only wear it in extreme cold and not to be stylish. And at the same time puffers can be pricey. I thought this stigma is less prominent as oversized puffers are in style for a few years now, so not sure about the exact reason of the cost per wear!
I wear mine going on night duty I wear black loafers cause i don't like it with trainers but everyone wears the trainers on the wards, I don't think anyone pays any attention
