I just moved to Canada from a warm country. I was looking all over the internet for these tips. Thank you so much, Amber, for this video. It's incredibly useful to me.
Thank you for doing a vid for real winter weather. So many winter outfit vids where the people live in LA and “cold” is 60°F. I love all your outfits!!
I commented on the last video, that I lived in the high elevations of Colorado. I lived in down jackets, I even loved them in the summer. I was waiting for one to show up. It's the uniform for almost everyone that lives in a Colorado mountain ski town (and a beanie). We've moved to the beaches of Florida, but I will never get rid of my down collection. Find myself often stalking the Colorado housing market, I miss snow!
So I’m not from Canada but I live in Boston, which is a pretty cold state. All the winter wardrobe videos I come across are from women who live in warmer states so I really appreciate this video. Good luck this year with Canada winters❤
Thank you, our post-frigid Chicago weather Christmas Family visit...layering made all of the difference...well below zero temps. to 50's°F! Crazy weather! A big tried and true recommendation...I am not sponsored by them, just sharing a great garment suggestion: *********Eddie Bauer fleece-lined pants, which are like a windbreaker on the outside. Two new pairs from a sale last year got used this trip! Lightweight! Very warm! Several pockets! I am buying more for sure! 😁❤️🥶🌬️❄️🌞
as someone who moved to Canada recently and is always cold no matter what winter jacket I wear, I'm so thankful for this video!! I was about to give up and wear sweatsuits and freeze to death!! please make more videos like this now that it's getting colder :) also what cute shoes/boots do you recommend for the rainy season (I'm in Vancouver island)?
I got rid of all of my winter wool coats because the lining feels ridiculously cold when you put the coat on (and thereafter). I would never have thought to layer a puffer underneath. Of course, it’s all a bit much to deal with in a restaurant or in a store when you suddenly have to visit the washroom! I’m in Regina. 😱
I looooove when you todo these cold weather chic!! Highlight of the season! Any one can look cute during the summer months but it’s the real deal during winter! Please keep them up! Hugs from Stockholm!
I really like the black sweater you wear at the beginning of the video. Could you please add the link from where did you buy it ? Looking really fantastic
Loved it, especially the last look. I’m here in the UK where we don’t even get that cold so I never wear thermals. But now I’m definitely going to try wearing some to keep more warm 😆
Hello from Toronto. We get a range here from slushy to fairly cold (though of course not as cold as out west). Lots of great tips. Thank you! I find Heattech a bit meh. I wear the thinnest type, but more to protect my clothes from sweat than to actually keep me warm. I use Mark's Work Warehouse stuff to keep warm.
Very cute and simple style for someone(me) who is not a big fan of colors.Chic! Your vids helped me alot on what to get and how to style during winter time.I be moving to the US this fall and still didnt get a single thing yet to prepare me for the weather. As someone who came from a hot humid/monsoon season country, this definitely helped a lot! Please do more on cute jackets and boots for winter!
Saved this video. So helpful. We are considering moving to an area that is much colder than we are use to and it’s suppose to get very cold here next week. Thank you. Now I’m going to go check some of your other content.
I just did a closet detox today and my client requested a top just like the one you were wearing in the intro! I'm SO happy you included a link to find it
Beautiful video!! I'm flying soon to a super cold location and had no idea which coats to take it. This video was on spot!! Subscribed. Shalom from Israel Thank you so much!!
Hi from South Africa. Love your videos. This is going to sound crazy coming from a hot country but we get really cold in our homes in winter. We have brick and tile houses and no central heating so we really have to bundle up inside. I wish, so wish that we could buy decent thermal underwear here. It would help a lot. Doesn’t somebody want to start a business here and bring some underwear in from Canada? 🤣
i'm studying abroad in Russia this year so this video makes me feel a bit better about surviving the winter there without looking like a penguin lol thank u!!
Hey Amber, I absolutely looove this! Thank you!! I also adore the top you wear in the beginning and I don't think it's the same sweater that you linked? Would you mind telling us where it's from?
yaaay great work!! i live in similar weather conditions (but it's more humid in here) and all the tips are the ones that i actually use everyday!! so nice to see relatable content 🦋
Hi Amber! My name is Jenny :) I live in the Deep South in the US. I’d LOVE to move to a colder climate, and found your video very helpful! Are there any brands you love? Having a hard time finding stylish, WARM clothes for the negatives. It’s November 28th right now and tomorrow it will be 76 🙃
Thanks for this updated content! I am looking for any tips for very efficient, cold weather packing, especially for 20-30's°F Chicago weather! 😁❤️❄️🥶 My husband and I will be walking a minimum of three blocks to/from my parents' building and around other Christmas events. I have stocked up on thermal leggings/matching tops (if available). 😁❤️❄️🥶
I don't feel hot in my thermals but somedays I do sweat... In underarm and underboob area... So I do use a good roll on deo... But for longer periods sweat pads are must... Specially when u are in and out constantly
I’ll buy some items on your list I’ll let you know how I feel. I’m moving back to MA soon. 😬 Also can you please tell us about the plants that are good to have even in the winter months? Thank you ☺️ you are awesome
That`s great, thank you! I stumbled on your first video last month and it helped me a lot! I bought the thermal underwear its sooooo good! I live for 10 years in Montreal, and I have never heard about it... so no more Dollarama ichy thermal leggings lol! :D I love your style! HAPPY 2022
Hi Amber. Where do you live? I recognize your prairie accent. I grew up in Northern Saskatchewan and I don't remember sunny days. I just remember gray skies. I like how you put your outfits together. I really don't like wearing bluejeans during the winter because the cotton just feels so cold. If you are interested I prefer Pajar boots. They seem more practical and much warmer than Uggs. They also don't get as ruined as Uggs. Great video.
May I know what material was that beige coloured pants in Look #3? This is so helpful, thank you!! Love that the video is straightforward and clear, and the tips so useful! 🤍🤍🤍
I have been watching the winter videos and taking notes. What is your warmest Parka? What parka would you recommend for someone coming to Edmonton from a warmer climate?
I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. Besides it's cold .Also is very humid and windy . I am always freezing and i get panic attacks when it's too cold . Which brands of jackets do you suggest for 0 , -10 , -20 and -30 degrees Celsius? Please !!!!
Great tips and clothing options. Do you live in the interior of B.C.? Alberta? My mother was born in Trail, B.C. I live in north west Nevada above 5500" in elevation. Cold and dry thank goodness. I cannot tolerate being wet, cold, or damp. I am going to try the mittens. I also have problems with cold hands. Thank you.
I love the new boots. I am seeing them everywhere but I am overwhelmed by the options when I try to shop for them. Where did you get your boots and what brand are they? Are they slip resistant?
I like to see those coats buttoned up. Very few supposedly cold winter looks feature closed coats. While cute, a coat or jacket left open is utterly useless in cold weather. I've also seen turtle necks get a bad wrap for being out of style (that was a couple years ago). How can a wardrobe staple go in and out of style? What's next, socks?
As someone who lives in Toronto, which has had the worst winter this year, this video is very helpful. Do the long johns fit true to size? I'm thinking of purchasing the ones that you linked.
One question that I have when watching bloggers sharing how to still look chic during winter is- do we therefore have to buy everything one size bigger since we have those thermals underneath? Be it jeans, the coat instead of our usual normal sizing chart? Sorry I came from warm country and now living in country with 4 seasons so I would like to learn. Thanks!
For me personally, I have some thermals that are thin enough to fit underneath the sizes I already wear, so I don't think you always have to size up. But I think you may have to size up for coats if you want to add more layers.
I just moved to Canada from a warm country. I was looking all over the internet for these tips. Thank you so much, Amber, for this video. It's incredibly useful to me.
THE CONTENT I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED! I always thought it’d have to pick between being cute and being warm and then I saw this video 😂 THANK YOU! 🙏🏽
Thank you for doing a vid for real winter weather. So many winter outfit vids where the people live in LA and “cold” is 60°F. I love all your outfits!!
Love these looks, practical yet classy!

winters where I live are much more mild (between 0-10C) yet this is how I dress lmao I probably wouldnt even go out if I lived in such cold place!
So I’m not from Canada but I live in Boston, which is a pretty cold state. All the winter wardrobe videos I come across are from women who live in warmer states so I really appreciate this video. Good luck this year with Canada winters❤

This girl from the tropics is very grateful for your tips! Thank you!

I am visiting Mexico City and I hate to be cold so I will be adding the puffer vest as a layer to keep me warm. Thank you for the wonderful tips.
Looooove some useful tips that REALLY will help people that don't have experience dressing for winter.
Loved it, especially the last look. I’m here in the UK where we don’t even get that cold so I never wear thermals. But now I’m definitely going to try wearing some to keep more warm 😆
This videos are pure gold, i moved to Quebec last february and i love wearing stylish outfits (i love my coats) and being warm at the same time
You look so gorgeous in the sit down section! That shirt is awesome on you
I live in Edmonton and it has been so cold already! I just bought the thermals before I was even done this video haha. Thank you so much for this!
I love Canadian winters, and I also love to dress well, so thank you for this video!

This was a real layering video for cold weather. Thank you 💞
From Colorado ❤ where we have bipolar weather. I am thankful I came across this video. Thank you 🥰
The Internet has been missing this content! Thank you
Saved this video. So helpful. We are considering moving to an area that is much colder than we are use to and it’s suppose to get very cold here next week. Thank you. Now I’m going to go check some of your other content.
The tip about thermals was on point! ❤
Going to cold weather for vacation. This has been so helpful, classic and fashionable! Thank you!!
a minute 30 in, immediately subscribed - love the vibe, love a fellow Canadian fashion gal
I just did a closet detox today and my client requested a top just like the one you were wearing in the intro! I'm SO happy you included a link to find it
Love the white boots you're wearing! I also wasn't sure how the black belt was gonna look on your wool coat but I thought you pulled it off greatly!
Hello from Northern Ontario, I feel you with this type of weather! You make it look so chic and effortless and most importantly ACTUALLY WARM! 😄❄
so helpful for my winter vacation in Canada, thank you so much
I am moving to a cold country and -30 degrees is alien to me! Such helpful tips! I should remember to get oversized pants 🤔 Noted.
Beautiful video!! I'm flying soon to a super cold location and had no idea which coats to take it. This video was on spot!! Subscribed. Shalom from Israel Thank you so much!!
Hi from South Africa.
Love your videos.

Thermals indeed are the holy grayl of the winter
I love the Uniqlo heat tech line. But I never get the cotton one. I think they are just the best
Gracias Amber

Very cute outfits! But I can't believe that someone didn't mention that berets and earmuffs are not warm enough below freezing temps.
Hi Amber, I am from China. My city is not cold like yours but we can use Air-conditioner here. Thank you for sharing!
Both links for cotton the thermal layer that she mentions, take you to buy polyester ones.
Yessss! I've been watching the first version in repeat 🤣
I don't feel hot in my thermals but somedays I do sweat... In underarm and underboob area... So I do use a good roll on deo... But for longer periods sweat pads are must... Specially when u are in and out constantly

Smart wool is so great as socks too
May I know what material was that beige coloured pants in Look #3?
This is so helpful, thank you!! Love that the video is straightforward and clear, and the tips so useful! 🤍🤍🤍
Hi! Could you please tell what colour you've gotten your hair dyed in? Please.
What’s the brand of the white boots? So chic!
Absolutely necessary video if you live in Russia. Thanks
I have been watching the winter videos and taking notes. What is your warmest Parka? What parka would you recommend for someone coming to Edmonton from a warmer climate?
I know this video is basically a year old, but what lipstick or gloss are you wearing? 😅 it’s like the perfect light wash of color. Love your makeup
Loved this vid!!
Love the second look
Loved everything! Your style is amazing. Keep up the good work! Sending lots of love 💕
Thank you.
What top are you wearing in the beginning of this video please? ❤
The little corner where the cat decided to curl up 🥺
You have an amazing style! Truely an inspiration!
I love the new boots. I am seeing them everywhere but I am overwhelmed by the options when I try to shop for them. Where did you get your boots and what brand are they? Are they slip resistant?
The video is amazing! Do cosmetic lenses work in such low temperatures ?
Can you please do it for the 2022 winter edition??
I live in Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦-45
Lo ove this kind of vídeo!!, thank 🛷❄️😘
Looove your top!
it's literally 32 degrees currently in November where i live.. why am i watching this 🤣
I want to know where you got your large wooden coffee table? 😍

Great video! Thanks for it! Would you please recommend some realy warm socks?
Just what I was looking for!!
Wow really useful tips!!
new subbie here and I absolutely love your content!! Thank you!
What are the name of the black boots worn with the short puffer and jeans?
Hi! Can I ask where the black top you’re wearing is from? The link doesn’t work anymore.
Merry Christmas
I like to see those coats buttoned up. Very few supposedly cold winter looks feature closed coats. While cute, a coat or jacket left open is utterly useless in cold weather. I've also seen turtle necks get a bad wrap for being out of style (that was a couple years ago). How can a wardrobe staple go in and out of style? What's next, socks?
I am British. Is a turtle neck the British polo neck jumper?
As someone who lives in Toronto, which has had the worst winter this year, this video is very helpful. Do the long johns fit true to size? I'm thinking of purchasing the ones that you linked.
Link For long puffer coat look #1 doesn’t seem to work?
Thank you for the video! ❤️
But I think you may have to size up for coats if you want to add more layers.
where is your top from it's so cute!!!!
Do you buy extra sizes for pants.…? I mean to fit in with the first layer😅😅
