Apologies for not showing the more detailed bits of the work, this was fairly early on in my video making days before I fell into my niche, I hope the video was at least a little helpful I’d you where undertaking this repair yourself 😊
Do you still have the blanking plate in position? If you have. 2.2 diesel then you need to use a blanking plate with a 8-10mm hole to allow for airflow or the EML will keep coming on. A full blanking plate is only recommended for a 2ltr. My EML was always coming on because of this until a Jaguar mechanic told me the reason. Since the blanking plate with the hole has been fitted the EML has stayed off 👍 Hope that helps.
Sadly i no longer have this car which is a shame as I loved it! I did hear about this actually, sadly the turbo blew before I had a chance to try the new plate mod, thanks for the comment though, really appreciate it and will try it on whatever Jag I buy next in the future! Take care!

Yes, I'm very happy with it, I picked it up at Euro car parts for around £20, I'm sure there are better and more complex ones out there but, to be honest for the basic diagnostic and clearing of codes, I Can't recommend this little product enough!

Hello again, I have a problem with my x-type. On the way, the preheater coil started flashing and the engine ran in emergency mode. I removed the injectors, cleaned them and installed them but the flashing of the glow plug is still there. Could there be another cause besides the injectors? In the fault memory there is only cyl 2 knocking combustion and the check engine light is also permanently on and cannot be deleted.
I know it's hard to say what it could be when you do remote diagnosis, I just think maybe there's something that's simple but I haven't tried it yet.
I have this issue, plus cruise not available, and glow light flashing, limp mode no horn ohhh and no wipers 😢😂
Sounds like an X-type 😂 hope you've managed to get all the problems fixed! They're great cars as long as they're running well, which usually Doesn't last long sadly 😂
