Stripping and Painting My Turbo Charge Pipes

  • In this video I'll show you how to strip the paint of my turbo charge pipes using Kleen Strip Premium Sprayable Paint Stripper. And then paint them with Rust-Oleum paint getting no drips or runs.

    If you sand it down...clean with rubbing alcohol... primer and paint... they would look awesome...no spots

    When I bought my 08 it had burgundy red charge pipes from Dejon. I made sure to strip them and paint them black for a sleeper look.

      Nice. I'm a bit more of a showoff as opposed to a sleeper...hence the red pipes :)

    Does the paint need to be able to handle the heat of the engine?

      That's a good question and I'll definitely find out once I start driving her hard. I'm not sure how hot they'll get. But thankfully, it's pretty easy to strip and repaint them if needed.
