- Even though autocross racing is one of the safest car sports around, you can still have a mishap. Unfortunately, it was my turn. But thanks to a fellow autocross friend who was also an autobody repair man, he helped get my front bumper looking much better after the hit.

I owned one of these. Joy to drive but oversteer in unfamiliar places sometimes got me.
It's like when your child sick you feel so sad. It's always going to bother you till you change it.
Ohh man that sucks hopefully you get her fixed up I love that car you’ve done ton work on it
Yeah. It's looking pretty good now. Thanks.
Hey! My buddy just saw your car at an event here in Bowling Green! i wish I could've come say hi, and talk about your turbo setup. I'm just getting ready to install an RPM Motorstports k04 turbo on my Sky, and I'm trying to route the oil return into the front timing cover so that I don't have to drill into my block.
Thanks Mike for the video. I have a few minor repairs to the front area. Specifically, I will be replacing the fender-wells and a few hood vent trim pieces. Did you replace your shocks? Like you, I bought mine used with about 73,600 miles. I already replaced the tires. I am wondering if I should replace the shocks next. I am also hearing a weird rubbing/grinding sound when I am turning left or right. I will investigate that this weekend when I pull the wheels off and get a closer look. I am hoping it isn’t something I can’t fix or replace.
You might want to reach out to Norm of Norm's Fiberglass to see if he could mold a replacement... (He doesn't appear to offer one for the Sky right now but I know he has a Solstice-equivalent on his products page, so it could be justified as it would only be another offering from him for his customers.) I've ordered from him before for other things for my Sky and while I had to wait an awful long time for everything, the final product was fantastic. He even drove down to help me install it. He can handle the painting of everything, too, as long as you provide him your paint code for matching.
Hey Mike, I had a similar mishap and lost that horizonal chrome strip on the air inlet next to the fog light. You mentioned you ordered it, where did you get it and do you know that part number thanks, ken
Looking good 👍
That sucks.Glad it's not too bad.
Mike, where did you purchase the turn signal fog light housing?
eBay.
Ahh man. That stinks bro. My front bumper needs some work done to it too. Previous owner/s probably lost a few battles to some parking blocks I'd imagine. The little plastic pieces keeping the fog lights in won't fit all the way and they're kinda just hanging on for dear life.
That sucks. Hopefully you can get them fixed before you lose them.
