ಸಿಲ್ಕ್ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ನಿಂದ ಕಾಡುಬೀಸನಹಳ್ಳಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ -1 ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಆಫ್ಕಾನ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರೆ,
ಕಾಡುಬೀಸನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬೈಯಪ್ಪನಹಳ್ಳಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ಎರಡನೇ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ನ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಶಂಕರನಾರಾಯಣ ಕನ್ಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಷನ್ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.

HSR layout Station : All pier cast up to concourse level. CC Connector erection in progress
Agara Station : All Piers cast up to platform level.CC and PF arms being erected.
Ibbalur Station : All pier cast up to concourse level.
Bellandur Station : Concourse slab casting works in Progress.
Kadubeesanahalli Station : U Girder erection by LG in progress.
Kodibeesanahalli Station : All pier cast up to platform level. CC and PF arms being erected.
Marathahalli Station : Concourse beam casting in progress.
ISRO Station : All piers cast up to platform level.CC and PF Connector erection in progress
Doddanekundi Station : All pier cast up to concourse level.CC Connector erection in progress
DRDO sports complex Station : Concourse and platform slab casting works in Progress
SaraswathiNagar Station ( Mahadevpura ): Concourse and platform slab casting works in Progress

As per the progress of works , they should be able to open by 2025 ending of 2025 mid. But they are saying by 2026 September , they will open. Not sure why so much time from this point. Viaduct is completed in mostvof the places. Metro station works are also progressing well. Track laying and signalling should be completed in any year from now. So ideally by 2025 ending all works should be completed

So far only static trials. Getting access from bmrcl is very tough
When do you think realistically metro service will start from KR Puram to SilkBoard?
KR Puram to SB : Viaduct works are in advanced stages, Station work is picking pace now. System contracts are mostly awarded. Realistically 2026 first quarter is doable with some commitment and push.
This metro construction has totally destroyed beauty of the city
Iblur station will be bigger. Because it should accommodate Sarjapur section too
Ibblur will have 2 stations side by side. In current AFCONS scope only one will be built and other one will be later during SJP-Hebbal line

@@vikass8039 they will right next to each other. Where the flyover down ramp is currently towards SB is the location for the future station. This is similar to as you pointed RV Road and the new KR Pura interchange under construction.

Do you know why is yellow line testing taking so long?
actually line testing is only recently. Any new rolling stock has to first do elaborate static and dynamic tests and get certified by RSDO. With this line testing, speed testing results are tabulated and shared with CMRS for inspection and certification. In our case since we have only one train so far, it further adds up.
Ever since there is a congress government in Karnataka, the metro progress has been very slow. The people of Karnataka should have known the consequences of voting for Congress.
Metro project progress has no bearing on who is in power since the projects have all funds tied through external agencies and is run independently. Worker shortage due to elections and they returning back to their states is not dependent on any party in power. Let us keep political commentaries outside of this.

@@SunilHP This is living in a fool's paradise. Did you not know that funds by any external agency are to be guaranteed by the central government. It means if the state government fails to pay back the loan, the central government will do so. It is only then that these agencies release the funds. With a different political party in power at the center and another one at the state, all approvals take longer or don't come at all. The bottom line is state governments can hardly do anything without the center's nod. That's why they say - vote carefully.

@@newbiekhyber Please keep your knowledge and political advices to yourself. I am very much aware of how sovereign loans work and what is the role of CG in them. In a democracy no body can guarantee that one party will be at the helm in both the state and centre. And in the spirit of being a Union of states and federal structure of governance this is the least expected. Go back and look how many approvals , how much financial assistance wsa received when Karnataka had BJP in power and how enthu they were to track the progress of metro. I dont want to take this further and the sole purpose of the videos is to give an update and if you don't like it, you are welcome to ignore.
