Thanks for the video. So happy to see my birthplace K.R. Pura developing so well. Remember those days travelling on the single lane 116 year old ROB between ITI and Lowry school across the Bengaluru-Chennai rail line. It was a nightmare when ITI's 116 buses used to come like a train during their 1st, FG, General, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Today, that place is a strategic 4 way junction for Metro and the railway station is a (3 way) junction. Plus, a 3 way highway - Bengaluru-Chennai and Whitefield.. Hence, 4+3+3= 10 way junction. Super
Why are the pillars from 20:50 to 20:57 cast only halfway? The other pillars are almost 15-20m tall and then suddenly these are almost at grade. Is there an issue here?
these piers are there for future Sarjapura Hebbal line to crossover from Left to right. They have provisioned for this now only to avoid disruptions later. there will be portal pier here and yet to be taken up.
Metro officers are instead of new lines work begins go more engaging or considered to complete some lines of works in this year provided services for better.
Hi in the silk board new c ramp flyover will there be traffic jam occur once the new ram open to public because i see the road from silk board and the new flyover meet at the same starting point of the electronic city flyover ?
Any timeline on when the Sarjapura to Hebbal line construction will start ? Also would be interesting to know the alignment between Ibbaluru and Koramangala for this line.
the details are still not made public. In fact per the latest update, the DPR is in the final stage of submission to State govt from BMRCL and then later to Union Govt. Till the time the DPR is approved, they generally do not make this public.
Once metro work is done, barricades are removed, main carriageway is fully available, service road will get freed up. in the end the piers only take up the median space . Only during piling works road need to be barricaded and du
Afcons is a big time laggard. No real progress despite closing ORR at nights and forcing traffic on to service roads and causing massive inconvenience to public. When will they be held accountable for their deeds or lack thereof?
AFCONS heavily relying on Launching girder since they invested on these considering they had 4 Split flyover which needed them and a crane could not have done. Now a second gantry is almost up and the LG 2 will be moved here. They are making good progress on pier caps too .
Waiting for this video.
Thank you for the monthly updates.

Why AFCONS is slow with the progress

C ramp ends on HSR side and A ramp ends at Electronic city side and the A ramp is on service road , So should not cause any issue.

One question - why are there metal girders placed here and there while most of the viaduct is using U-girders?
I girders have length limitation.for longer spans(metal),composite spans are used
U girder max design span in Metros are 28 meter, anything beyond has to be a concrete i-girder or composite span ( steel i girder and concrete slab ).
Is ramp there for traffic coming from e'city to join double decker floyover?
No electronic city to ragi gudda will still be below .
Which state ?
Karnataka
Hardly any progress. May be 2029 at best.
Thank to alliance of local party and Congress
The traffic situation on the ORR has improved but the service roads are congested and i dont see how metro can solve this problem
Once metro work is done, barricades are removed, main carriageway is fully available, service road will get freed up. in the end the piers only take up the median space . Only during piling works road need to be barricaded and du

Again Afcons looks like in a stagnant state
