Both SNC and AFCONS were awarded these contracts only in May 2021 and almost both of them were given go ahead / front availability by End 2021. So it is 3+ years and in that you will need to consider COVID related delays , Delays faced by AFCONS due to unchartered utility obstruction from KPTCL and GAIL Gas pipeline. There is delay, but to exaggerate as 6+ years is taking it too far.
@@SunilHP The current timeline for opening this section is late 2026 or 2027 that is close to 6 years from the time consturction strated. It is only in Bangalore this happens - Hyderabad and Chennai build their metros much faster. ORR has heavy traffic the cost of delay due to time lost and additional fuel burned costs a lot of time and money for people. Construction can be done much faster expecially since all night the roads are closed to traffic. It is unacceptable for public to accept this kind of lackadaisical approach to infrastructure in this so called Silicon Valley of India. Starting with government and BMRCL everyone should not accept this kind of timelines. Things will never improve if one accepts status quo.

Finally today titagarh company manufactured yellow line 1st metro train it will reach blr by 10th 😊👍.By march end or April yellow line will open to public then metro length in the city will extend to 97kms 👍👍
These are for future provisioning of SJP-HEbbal line cross over from left to right. they are probably awaiting designs to incorporate them now so that later during Phase 3A , the viaduct can be easily built.

@@ArnavA-un5gk The entire distance from Iblur to Silk board went through redesign? I don't think so - the pillars are already there including offset pillars. It is taking forever to put up the U-girders that connect the pillars and station work is also pending.

Will be Silkboard to KR Puram for sure. followed by Airport to Hebbal . Last being Hebbal to KRP.
