Civil Contractor : PKG2 - NCC LTD - 11.678 KM
PKG3 - NCC LTD - 15.011 KM including 718 meter cut and cover portion.
Piling Works Happening and Pier casting Picking up pace.

Hebbal Station :- No Works Yet
Kodigehalli Station :- Piling Works in Progress
Jakkur Cross Station :- Pier casting in progress
Jakkur Plantation Station ( probable, Not confirmed ) : No Signs Yet.
Yelahanka / Kogilu Cross Station :- Piling Completed. Pier casting yet to begin.
Bagalur Cross Station :- Pier casting upto Concourse level and Concourse beam casting started
Package 3 :
Bettahalasuru Station : No Works Yet.
Chikkajala Station : Piling Completed. Pier casting yet to begin.
Doddajala Station : Pier casting work in progress.

I feel they should have divided this section in 2 - 3 phases and allotted work accordingly, 2026 deadline is really too late. Bangalore needs infra very urgently, we don't have the liberty to undertake important projects for 5-7 yrs deadlines

It'll be really helpful if atleast stretch from hebbal to airport is expedited and completed before, since the traffic in this stretch is not as much as ORR it can be completed sooner and will benifit many people.
Bro please make the video at 2x speed 36min is long 20min will be good at 2x speed also we can see clearly the progress
Thank you for the feedback. The updates apart from progress, is also used by other Metro - SSC community members for tracking progress minutely. If I increase at source the compression would mean they cannot get the details like pier numbers and so on. As a work around I would suggest you click on the settings and select the playback speed suited to you and enjoy. thanks again.

Hi, Great work!! You update it every month!! Can you tell me whether Phase 2A is getting constructed slowly or quickly?
And can you also explain how metro works near the airforce?
Phase 2A is in much better shape than 2B since it started early. Both SNC and AFCONS are doing well having gone through they hurdles. In 2B pkg 1 between KRP to Hebbal lags because of the 4 months work stoppage due to the unfortunate incident. But it is back since a month and slowly getting into rhythm. pkg 2 and 3 are doing quite well.
Near the AF , the line is planned to go below grade and will rise up near Hunasamaranahalli. Since it is a small stretch, it would be cut and cover method and no TBM is employed.
2A will now progress slow as their priority was to decongest the road but station work is not progressing rapidly as viaduct work did

It is within the BMTC depot that is on the corner when you turn from Airport road towards ORR.
Why there are some mysterious pillars next to the flyover in 34:03 ?

Ignore these. these were piers done by BDA on the Hebbal junction improvement and abandoned since a lot of changes have happened since then.

Yes Absolutely. They are doing quite well.
Yes. Hope that this corridor upto Hebbal be opened by mid 2025 atleast. Then they can expand.

BLR Metro is known for extending deadlines. I think they lack expertise in technical administration like chosing the right contractor, progress of work based on duration etc. With this they lack interest and willingness to deliver. Their attitude is "Use Metro when it is ready" with infinite time lines. They have also destroyed the asthetics of Bangalire city. It is pathetic.
