Etre de lumière BE The material is rattan. Its not tapered. The staff should be about the same height as you

I've always wanted to learn how to use a bo staff! It just looks so awesome and beautiful. Does anyone know if it's possible to find local dojos that teach the art of bo and how much they would cost? These RUclips tutorials are great, but I feel like hands-on experience would be more beneficial.

    • @mindfulmusic1029

that weapon that he is using is not a bo(japanese staff) but a gun(chinese staff)
a gun is thicker on one tip and tapers down to the other while a bo is thick only in the middle and thin on both tips

      rndmazn (random asian)
you have a valid point on the staffs, but i must disagree about the bo staff tapering, as it fully depends on what type of bo staff you use- i have two bos- one of which is reverse tapered (fat ends, slim middle) and my other is a straight bo st staff (which is really heavy).

If it were here in Brazil some idiots would say "here is the deal muay thai and jiu jitsu."
Would that many martial artists here dizessem: Teach me a little of his style that I teach my.
Things would be much better = D.
I workout at a gym kung-fu already seven years, I have level 1 instructor, but to leave a bit of routine workouts, I confess that I see some videos of this page and others and icremento in my propio training, and are very good.

Bo staff and long staff are different.
You'd be hard pressed to practice bo techniques on a long staff.
