About: Satisfactory
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies.
This Factorio like game has heavy automation, with automated mining, crafting, and you can even automate movement!

After playing over 600 hours last year I decided to wait for 1.0 before I play again but I have really enjoyed your builds and just seeing you mess round with all the new stuff
Same I will wait for official release to play the game
I wish I had an ounce of the patience and creative juice that you have! Everything I build looks like a toddler hastily threw it together. XD
I find that my builds get much better and much more considered as I play more 😊 currently building a nuclear plant with plutonium recycling (if I could reprocess the plut I would use it but alas, the fuel cells go in the sink 😅)

I cannot wait for the day they add curved foundations by default. I can imagine it working like belts just placing them along a spline
maybe scalable build objects too... half wall still missing... :/ Rotating foundations when clipped already would give a lot.

this is a really good build total, i love it. Especially how u build around the water.
Really cool builds! I also play with Arachnaphobia mode on, and i noticed that black cats are the big spiders and the orange ones are the small spiders
Oh god I hate the spiders. I don't have arachnefobia but they move so erratic and the big ones can jump like 20meters up.
I hade on big spider hitting me twice so 80% of my health was gone, i escaped downhill with parachute... The damn spider kept jumping after me half the map and then got stuck in a lake because he jumped into the deep end 😂 Hate them!!
Last time I played Satisfactory was before all of these additional decorative pieces were available. It's amazing to see what organic shapes are now possible!
Nobelisks? You mean you don't have industrial storage containers full of snowballs?
Not in that save. This playthrough had been started after U7. So... snowballs would be there no sooner than in december.
With the floor pipe hole bug still in effect the best way to do underground pipes is with the standing pipe holder instead, rotated 90 degrees. Works on plain ground too so there can be realistic-ish pipelines running long distances across the ground.
What's the point doing doing pipes up and down like he did ? Is it just for visual aspect, or there is a technical reason ?
@@r2b289 They're for getting the pipes out of the way. In Factorio the use of underground pipes are for many other practical gameplay reasons but making more walkable space is the main purpose in Satisfactory. If you don't like seeing pipes running everywhere then there is also the aesthetic aspect. Feels like cheating sometimes though, because sending them underground means any clipping problems are out of sight and out of mind.

You think this is good.... In two more episodes I approach coal again, because numpty me forgot I need to start producing computers before unlocking fuel generators :D

Why did you do the Factorio styled pipes? Is it to help prevent back flow?

Apparently its for not only the look but also function of the factorio pipes as it adds more "walking space"🙂 nothing to do with flow although to me personally i like the lots of pipes look, and less points of failure to troubleshoot
Beautiful design and extremely creative.
It's just too bad I don't have that type of artistic capability of my body.
Also I would like to see the DEVS consider adding A pipe option with a window on it and another pipe with a pulsating direct line on it. For visual distance monitoring and you would be able to use it to create more interesting designs.

Why do you 'stitch' the water pipes? Is it primarily decorative, or is there a functional point for doing that?
I got 400hr but im rebuilding my main factory right now but the one thing i remade first was power stations in this area too

I did a 96 power plant capacity coal plant recently somewhere near that one 😊
I did a 146x coal generator setup in the northeastern crates lakes. 100x used compacted coal and the rest normal coal. Like 10100MW, pipes was a nightmare and i hate em!

I saw the stream where you built this... I remember thinking that it was a brilliant structure.
What I want to know is, does it run at a constant output continuously for a long time, and also after loading into the game again after saving? After some trying I got something balanced and working for a long time, but after starting the next day the water supply was on/off all the time for the last couple of power plants in each row.
I'm a bit confused by the second arch on the main factory building - with the things standing out it doesn't look like there will be anything connecting to the arch - does it make sense to bring it in closer or remove it?
As an artist, I'd like to help you out with your dilemma with using color! ( @14:33 ) When you do choose a color like the "shocking" purple, just back down on the saturation a bit. Oversaturated colors like that purple do not occur in the real world, therefore making your build look "video-gamey" - the opposite of what made your prior builds look so attractive!

@@realkorti Just a suggestion about choosing colo(u)rs overall. Oversaturated colors are just so unrealistic.
how did you make the 45 degree curve between the so sets of 8 generators?
Seems like the foundations are oriented that way so the gens are snapping to that🤔
Your pipes aren't at DireWire status, so you're good on that front.

How do you clean up the edges when you do a curve, such as with the walkway for water pipes?
I’m pretty sure you change the texture then change it back (if you mean z clipping)

Overclock miners, if cant then find more coal, if cant reduce coal burn/use rate by underclocking or removing generator/s🙂

Actually you can know which spider it is with arachnophobia mode (cat mode) for each spider they have a different cat, and I have seen a baby spider in a while however I’m pretty sure they are kittens. So if it’s not a kitten then yeah you are probably screwed (especially the big cat).
14:30 Purple color? Bro that’s more royal blue than a shade of purple. You might be Deuteranomaly color blind. Not saying that there is anything wrong with that. Just more of an observation than anything. ❤
Though it's on the cusp it's definitely a shade of purple, I just checked with my wife to be sure 😊 if we were being exact it would probably be called indigo

For building, no. But I do have pack utility for making the gliding shots and skybox UI for keeping the daylight the same
I have nuked entire biomes because of these spiders
