    I replaced the crankshaft sensor but I’m still not getting ignition. Could it be the camshaft sensors causing the issue ?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  10 месяцев назад +1

      The dash lights are on? Does the fuel pump prime? Does it crank?

    • @Jaydos1470
      @Jaydos1470 10 месяцев назад

      The issue is a long crank with no turnover. The dash lights are on also. So far my diagnosis:the fuel pump primes and squirts fuel (checked). Air intake and valve are working fine.
      Battery is in good condition.
      Just not getting spark.
      I’ve only replaced the sensor underneath so far.

      @@Jaydos1470I’m having pretty much the same issue. Gonna check the crankshaft position sensor and replace it. Hopefully that fixes it or else I’ll have to change the camshaft sensors. Did you get it fixed?

    • @Jaydos1470
      @Jaydos1470 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@aleon117 hey man, I DID get it fixed. It was the camshaft position sensors on both sides of the engine. Honestly I should have done it from the start but it’s best to replace them all at the same time not just one of them. As they all need to work in consecutive order to send the okay to ignite the engine.
      The camshaft ones are pain to reach (my hands are huge too so they barely fit) but if you watch a RUclips video on them you can see where they are and get a feel for where the plug is that you need to pull out.

      @@autoperformance503 Make sure your battery terminals are clean and tight. If that's good you can also check the IPDM and fuel pump relay. Then I would change the sensors. Camshaft and crank position sensors are notorious it seems as the cars are getting to this age. I would replace them with Hitachi versions regardless.

    Be careful when you say the repair is for the Nissan AND the infinity because i have have a 2008 g-35 journey and nothing from the Nissan lols like the infinity I had; neither the protective plate, the cross bars, nor the crankshaft position sensor resemble anything in the video.

      If unplugged for long enough it can.

      Crankshaft might be the same but I wouldn't be surprised if the camshaft set is different.
