      There's no way anybody could remove the throttle body, intake, both sensors, and then re-install everything in 10-15 min. That's just not possible.

    There's no need to remove the intake and throttle body for the driver's side sensor, it's much easier to do from the passenger side. You just lean across the engine and do it by feel with your left hand and a 10mm wrench. Yes, it's a blind job, but very easy to do by feel...Took me less than 10 min. Taking all that stuff off on the driver's side is a waste of time...Try it from the other side.
    The passenger side is a bitch with that wire harness in the way, that side took me a lot longer trying to get the bolt back in.

    • @locophoto6881
      @locophoto6881 Год назад

      getting the bolt in the passenger side is very easy...you hold the volt by the back of the threads with thin needle nose pliers.....line up the bolt to the hole using your right hand hold the vise grips....then you just use like a butter knife held against the bolt head to push the bolt into the hole....it will stay there when you let go with vise grips....THEN tighen with a socket on the back of of using a small extension. Takes one minute

    Brian, I wonder if you checked the wiring integrity to the PCM do we have power, ground and signal between the sensor and PCM if every thing is good changing all sensors will be the fix and as always good video brother.

      I did check it the week earlier prior to doing the video. I use the pocket Uscope. At the time it would not fail for me. Cleared the code and the car drove great for about five days and then acted up again. This time it through a code for the crank sensor

    Hi, It knows if it is a sensor on each side or there are 2 sensors on each side.
    In my Infiniti it says (Sensor A, Bank 2) will there be sensor A and sensor B on the side of the camshaft ?
    Congratulations for your videos.

    Any chance anyone can give me the pinout/ what color wires go where on the crankshaft position sensor? Previous owner ripped off the sensor from being too low and I'm suspecting they pinned it wrong when replaced. having some issues with the crankshaft sensor even after replacing

    What is the part called that they stick the sensor in the green thing

    • @locophoto6881
      @locophoto6881 Год назад +1

      I call it the mounting clip...push the part that moves AWAY from the wires until it clicks...then the sensor can be removed....replace with new sensor, and push sensor all the way in until you hear a click and the click was that moving part going back to the rearward position....that's what locks the sensor into the sending unit mounting clip thingy

      Yes Japan is very very skilled in their crafting. China usually goes cheap, and their steel is weaker than ours. But China has the capability of creating high quality if they are paid accordingly and supplied with good resources. But that costs more.
