Thank you I’m glad you went into deep detail & made it look so easy I was about to pay someone $1360 to do this but thanks to you I’m about to save money
@ I know, right!!! Fucking wild I was trying to get my cam shifts and my crank shifts replace cost me $1800. I was like fuck that I’m gonna do that myself. lol
There's no need to remove the intake and throttle body for the driver's side sensor, it's much easier to do from the passenger side. You just lean across the engine and do it by feel with your left hand and a 10mm wrench. Yes, it's a blind job, but very easy to do by feel...Took me less than 10 min. Taking all that stuff off on the driver's side is a waste of time...Try it from the other side. The passenger side is a bitch with that wire harness in the way, that side took me a lot longer trying to get the bolt back in.
getting the bolt in the passenger side is very easy...you hold the volt by the back of the threads with thin needle nose pliers.....line up the bolt to the hole using your right hand hold the vise grips....then you just use like a butter knife held against the bolt head to push the bolt into the hole....it will stay there when you let go with vise grips....THEN tighen with a socket on the back of of using a small extension. Takes one minute
Is yours a sport model? If so, I believe they are different.. mine was on passenger side midway up by transmission housing.. there was a metal plate sticking out and it was right above it
Brian, I wonder if you checked the wiring integrity to the PCM do we have power, ground and signal between the sensor and PCM if every thing is good changing all sensors will be the fix and as always good video brother.
I did check it the week earlier prior to doing the video. I use the pocket Uscope. At the time it would not fail for me. Cleared the code and the car drove great for about five days and then acted up again. This time it through a code for the crank sensor
Hi, It knows if it is a sensor on each side or there are 2 sensors on each side. In my Infiniti it says (Sensor A, Bank 2) will there be sensor A and sensor B on the side of the camshaft ? Congratulations for your videos.
If you can't think to freaking google this there isn't enough help that will help...or search RUclips for cying out loud.....everything can be found if you search
Any chance anyone can give me the pinout/ what color wires go where on the crankshaft position sensor? Previous owner ripped off the sensor from being too low and I'm suspecting they pinned it wrong when replaced. having some issues with the crankshaft sensor even after replacing
I call it the mounting clip...push the part that moves AWAY from the wires until it clicks...then the sensor can be removed....replace with new sensor, and push sensor all the way in until you hear a click and the click was that moving part going back to the rearward position....that's what locks the sensor into the sending unit mounting clip thingy
@@deonwilliams3448 Yeah search on RUclips...there's actually a video a guy that made a video "350z replacing camshaft sensor plug" or something like that....I watched it a few days ago...you can get the replacement plug and then wire it in...I'd probably have a mechanic do it....removing one of the three wires was a total pain for the guy in the video...had to cut video, unless you're already pretty good and have that pin removal tool ...he was using a screwdriver
@@deonwilliams3448 Make sure you try INSTALLING the sensor with the plug on it, that might make it click in...one of mine wouldn't click in until I put it in car...they're difficult to push hard enough sometimes
Yes Japan is very very skilled in their crafting. China usually goes cheap, and their steel is weaker than ours. But China has the capability of creating high quality if they are paid accordingly and supplied with good resources. But that costs more.

Amazing video!! Most people don’t go into such detail it’ll make things a lot easier when I change my sensors
Glad you like the video. Thank you for watching!
Thanks!
Thank you very much!!
Got that sam problem bro, car shut off when hot. Thankz for the Video
Thank you for watching!
My husband just changed mine from watching your video. Look like 10 maybe 15 min. Thanks
There's no way anybody could remove the throttle body, intake, both sensors, and then re-install everything in 10-15 min. That's just not possible.
Interesting and educational, Thank You for sharing you’re knowledge 🇺🇸
Thank you for watching!
Bro just saved me $1,850
Thank you sir
$1850!!!?
@ I know, right!!! Fucking wild I was trying to get my cam shifts and my crank shifts replace cost me $1800. I was like fuck that I’m gonna do that myself. lol
well its a difference if you just change the sensors or if you actually want to change the whole cam shift and crankshift
Great video. Thanks for the help!
Thank you . For all your knowledge.

Awesome, very helpful for me, love the infinity ♾️ !
I have a 2008 Infiniti G35 (VQ35HR) and I can’t find the crankshaft sensor for the life of me. It’s not anywhere near the trans/engine. Please help.

Thank you 🙏 brother 👍😁🇨🇦
the equivalent to a delphi sensor would be a cps0005 correct? cause it has the 45
Very therow video thanks how to Automotive

So true, it wrecks your fingers and forearms.
Would you recommend buying these sensors from an autozone, orielys, etc. or oem from the dealership ?
Absolutely not. Hitachi only (which is the OEM manufacturer)

Is hitachi good? How long will it last?
hitachi is usually recommended because it’s a manufacturer oem part
Hey man what year is this?
I absolutely cant find the crankshaft position sensor at all on my 08 infiniti g35, is there anyways you could help me out?

Changed the passender side cam sensor (box said sensor crank position) all lights came back on and starts for only a few seconds. What did I do wrong?
you ever figure it out? Your probably had to Re learn you’re throttle body or put the wrong sensor
Dealership sensor only
On the cam sensors the connector doesn't squeeze it pushes in.
Grazie 🙏
I hate when my sensors are malfunkining😂
What if that bolt slips?
Mine had a silver cylinder on the end it didn’t look like this
