Hey Danny, 1st of all thanks for sharing this video. I have a 2006 Murano which died in the middle of the highway on my wife the other day. I couldn't figure it out it went into limp mode driving about 5-7 mph. She cruised it to the shoulder and we had it towed home. Fast forward to today after testing it out again it was still going into limp mode. I'm watching a number of vids related. Your video saved me a lot of work. My brake and ABS lights were flashing. I checked my fluids and the psf was low. I added atf to the reservoir and all the lights when of and it started driving normally again. Thanks a million man
Thanks so much for your video! My 2006 Infiniti G35 just did that on me. I had to remove the battery cable to save power. I plan to take to the shop this weekend but it seems like I what did would reset the sensors. Again! Your video is a real life saver for me!
Wait so let me understand this.. this isnt fixing your car its just patching it for a couple weeks? Does this method still work and how long do the VDC Lights and stuff stay on for? Would this also work buy using a diagnostic device and deleting the codes.
It is just resetting the system later on driving it will pop up again. This does not fix, it’s a common problem with the Infiniti’s, it is a sensor issue that without it it takes off ur ABS VDC slip and another one I can’t remember.. change the sensor if u want ann bc permanent fix.. another one is the gally gasket in the engine behind the timing belt.. big job, but a common problem for g37s, the factory gasket was a defect n most engines will be leaking out from that gasket.. if u change all that it’s like a new car again.. hope this helps someone...
Also check your ABS sensor on your rear differential it can wiggle out and throw all three lights. Or you can just take the sensor out of its spot if you want the lights to come on
You’re the man! Thank you. I recently replaced camshaft sensor b1 on 2008 fx 35. Since then vdc, slip lights won’t turn off and its been stalling in motion. Added some coolant and battery was unplugged for 10+ minutes. Should be good now. Do you have recommendation on fuel saving? Recently changed both air filters and where am I is extremely cold with traffic jam. Do you recommend fuel injector cleaning additive?
I would only suggest adding some sea foam to the gas tank only (one gallon of gas for each ounce, so you’ll want to put it in when filling the tank). Otherwise, use the cruise control when you are driving steady and that’s the best milage you’ll get. It does make a difference

I've been dealing with this on my 2005 G35 Coupe 6mt under 70k miles. Having found a few videos and tips on G35 forums... I have seen people talk about 1. low fluid levels (no for me) 2. rusted or impaired sensor contaminates on the brakes (not sure), 3. Fix- High G maneuvers to trigger the ABS to reset. I've had success after 2-6 times going at idle at 5-10 mph (with no one behind me) and SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES and having it skid (no ABS) to a stop. Luckily, I live in a place with lots of empty streets and stop signs... (I've heard of people going to parking lots and doing a hard turn plus the stomping on the brakes) to get the high G's. I've also heard of guys going backwards and slamming on the brakes.). Some guys even take a pair of pliers and hit the ABS humming motor if not shut off will kill your battery and itself - if you can't stop it when you shut off the car and it keeps going. Back up solutions - pull the ABS circuit breaker next to the battery... and or disconnect the battery - that will then continue to screw itself when re-connected the next day itself unless you get it to reset. This is pissing me off now... as I need a car to work and not drive around like a drunk slamming on my brakes, screeching to a stop, turn off and on, and hope it resets... today was 6 times... slick parking garages don't work as well. You really need the hood to dive at taxing speed or 5-10mph... full stop for it to reset. Grrr... If this continues it is time for a dealer to screw me or an semi-competent Shell dealer as there are multiple possible solutions.
Yeah, they are triggered easy for anything with a sensor or fluid level. Mine turned off with the circle technique ruclips.net/video/L8S0MjvGP3I/видео.html

Good evening, I use an online translator, so forgive me if the translation is incorrect. I have a Nissan Skyline v36 of 2007, there was a regular gearbox without blocking, I looked at one of the descriptions on this forum, where a person tells how he cut the black wire on the G sensor and connected it to the toggle switch and did the same. it didn’t help, slip lights up on the scoreboard and the car doesn’t go into a skid, I decided that it was because of the gearbox, I bought a gearbox with a lock, but the problem is the same, the car just starts to skid and the damn “slip” lights up, the car instantly stops “drifting” ", can you tell me what's the matter? How to bypass this security system, maybe you need to cut the wiring with a different color?
I have a 2007 Infiniti fx35 and my mph just stopped working then the abs and slip light came on then I turned my car off and it went off but my mph still doesn’t work any suggestions?
Hi Danny. I have the same problem with my 2005 G35x. Big problem is the ABS pump keeps going even with the engine shut off, and after about 1 hour the battery has run down so car won't start Any idea what causes this problem in the first place? I have to disconnect the battery when I park the car or it won't start when I want to drive it. This is a real pain in the ass. I have a few ideas that I will try tomorrow.
My 05g35 is doing the exact same thing. I heard the abs module running the other day and disconnected the battery to stop it and i guess reset it. I didn't hear it in the thunderstorm last night and car was dead as hell this morning UGGHHHH... did you figure out why the abs module would constantly run all night with the key off? ?????
So I have a 2005 6MT g35 and those three lights come on randomly as I drive the car and once I turn off the car, I hear the buzzing you talk about and I have to try and get the car to re-test the abs system by restarting it and driving a little then maybe the buzzing will go away. My fluids are all topped off but I do have 2 different codes coming up. I have one for an O2 sensor and another for the pnp switch. I changed the pnp switch but the code still comes up
I would start with the codes and get the 02 replaced, but if you are hearing the buzzing, it sounds like it’s the abs module/pump. You can try gently tapping on it, but if it just won’t go away it may need to be replaced
Abs relay . You need the codes scanned. What he did is just a system test and reset . It's not a fix. You need a scanner that reads abs codes. Just repaired mine and it was the abs relay
Thanks Danny that really helped. I have a 2008 Skyline with that problem. So thank you very much. And ironically my name is Daniel and they call me Danny too.👊🏽👍🏾
I have an m35x and while I'm driving it would shut off and those lights will come on after a few minutes it will start back up can I have the same problem
It just happened to mine this morning, didn't disconnect anything , mine is 2006 auto coupe , I just switched transmission (D) to tiptronic (manual) and they all disappeared at once lol
I have a 2005 Nissan pathfinder. I replaced the coolant fan and the VDC light came on and will not go off. My fluids r good and I drove it around the block at 10 mph but still the light is on can u give me any ideas…
I'm 3 for 3 on this procedure. It works GREAT! Thanks for the video. I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 manual transmission sedan. This has happened 3 or 4 times in the last couple of months. In at least two cases, lights came on after hitting a speed bump. Today, I didn't even bother to disconnect the battery. I just started the engine, did a sharp left hand circle. Pump stopped but lights still on. Turned off the car. Started it, did the left turn again and lights cleared. Tested the VDC control button and it functions on/off again. Fluid levels look OK but I'm going to top them off to see if things improve.
@@scottyscott1898 I never got around to it yet, but things have been fine for the last 2 weeks. It's only a matter of time before it does it again. The majority of threads point to the relay as the issue. It's just an expensive gamble. For now I'll keep doing the occasional cheap reset until it gets too frequent. I need to do the control arm bushings, so I'll look for a loose sensor or wiring. Seems odd that every time it happens corresponds to hitting a speed bump.
The lights all come on for any sensor or fluid level, so it could be from a throttle position sensor, crank position sensor, low fluid levels...you’ll have to find out which one is causing it. If you can get a code reader it may be able to tell you
It’s likely in “Limp mode.” You’ll want to run the codes with a scan tool. Mine did that with a dirty mass air flow meter (Maf) ruclips.net/video/0YvKtM0Xj9I/видео.htmlsi=jltxsmhTcvLC9OtI
My sparkplugs and coils were just replaced after that went home when I made turn car turned off engin light came on and all other lights did what your. Video showed lights came off but it still turned off as I'm driving
I had/have a strange issue last nite, went to the game, saw the battery light just came on, shut off the 05 G35 watched the game, came out, No battery light on, went home, but a mile B4 I get home, It goes into Limp mode, got it home, this morning seems to be ok, my scanner wouldnt get past scanning though?
If the battery light is coming on and off and the vehicle lights are not flickering and the alternator appears to be charging just fine, that is most likely the cluster as it was on mine. I’ll post a link to that at the end of this message. As for the limp mode, you should get a code for that, it’s typically a sensor or some kind. If you can’t connect to scan, there is a fuse for the obd2 that I would check. They happened to my brother ruclips.net/video/7HKe4pnIZ40/видео.html
Hey Danny, so I have a 07 g35 6mt coupe. The other day I had run into some tarp like material that i couldn't avoid and it wrapped into the rear diff area. I was fortunate to remove it all and did the battery reset but lights are still on: slip, abs, vdc, and ras. Could it be the rear speed sensor got damaged? Any suggestions?
Yes, I would think it’s the rear speed/abs sensor. You’ll see the spoked ring on the inner side of each axle near the differential that the sensor mesures. Check that area
Just a brief update. So it turned out one my speed sensor right by the diff was bent out far enough that it is not close enough to get a good reading. and I have ordered a replacement. I'll attempt to fix it soon. *crossing fingers*
So an update, I was able to fix it! Unfortunately the sensors I bought didnt fit and I had to work with the original. I had to bend the flange part so that the sensor was back to its original position. And at first only the abs light went away then I restarted and all the lights went away. I thank you so much for saving me lots of money from bringing it to the shop. Your insight triggered positive events that led to success. I hope you continue to share your knowledge with others!
This happened to me today disconnected battery for about 30 mins & abs/slip/Vdc still on have any ideas what can be ? also the relay stays on but once I tap it it stops
If the relay is staying on and buzzing, that sounds like the culprit. If it absolutely won’t go away, something needs to be replaced (i.e. abs module).
I have a 2006 G35X and the Slip, VCD Off and Brake lights all came on this morning. I read it can be as simple as being the car needs break fluid to worn break pads etc. I had mine towed to a trustworthy mechanic and hopefully I’ll have it back in a few days. Cars are fun...until they start things like this.
Ok I’ve Never Heard A Humming From My Abs Pump, Is That What’s It’s Suppose To Be Working Properly, I Never Heard The Buzzing From The Abs Pump, I Have 2005’ Infiniti Fx 35 AWD 3.5 Liter SUV & Have Same Lights On, ABS, Slip, AWD
I am the original owner of a 2004 armada, I would usually get the ABS effect when I had done a jump start to another vehicle, but lately I have been getting a brake light indicator on the dash then VDC and slip lights would turn on and then later get the ABS effect. I checked all three fluids and they were within ranges. I decided to add brake fluid to the max line and this has stopped my issues. I too had watched other you tubers saying they replaced the brake booster or the ABS module with no benefit. Thanks for placing this video on yt
My check engine came on and it gave the code for bank 2 cam sensor, I’ve replaced that sensor and it began starting up normal but still had the check engine on and at times would turn the VDC & Slip light back on. So I replaced the bank 1 sensor with a new part as well but now it’s taking a while to crank over again with all the lights back on. I’ve replaced knock sensor & crank sensor too idk what to do now. When I put the original bank 1 sensor back in it’ll crank normally but eventually give me the VDC & Slip again. I haven’t checked the fluids maybe that could be it? It’s getting irritating at this point because I have to pass Cali smog for my registration but can’t get the check engine off.
Are they Nissan sensors or aftermarket for the new ones? It may make a difference to have them original. As funny as it sounds, it may also be from a weak fuel pump. I have videos for that and more in my playlist ruclips.net/p/PLIjr-uSYDZi6cuomOpHL7rGWNEbQUmbvy&si=CMnO7FoBRulDYMLN
So I've been having this problem and I hear the pump running when the car is off and my battery keeps dying. I replaced the battery but still hearing the pump and the battery died again. Could this be related?
It depends on why the light came on and what you did to fix it. In my case the system simply triggered and would be fine for a year at a time. For others they will add fluid or change a sensor and be good. It depends
Question, When the slip and vdc lights go off on my daughters infinity m35x goes off there’s like a hesitation and scraping sound coming from the drivers side of the car. Things that have been replaced Axel(2) Drive shaft Carrier assembly Note: the vdc & slip light came on after this work. ANY insight would be very helpful
Hey Danny, I have this issue commonly on my 2005 G35x and it started just when the snow started falling. Usually these lights turn on when my ABS kicks in then they stay on. The buzzing stops after 1 minute of normal driving but the lights stay on until I turn off the car and then start it back up. All my fluids are topped up and now I am wondering if it is the wheel speed sensor. Any tips you can give would be fantastic!
You can try cleaning the wheel speed sensor. It’s a magnet and picks up a lot of debris. This is on a mustang, but the same thing. If you watch the video you’ll see what I mean. The rear is located up near the differential (you’ll find the rings by the differential). ruclips.net/video/gXyt52dwLC0/видео.html
if you find out let me know my car just did the same turned it on whent around the block it died but then i started it back up still has the lights on tho might try to disconnect the battery
On this Nissan, Slip off, TCS off and AT sign on. Jerking and Died. Want start and noticed when you turn the Ignition on, nothing on the Dash and then the lights come on and turns over but want start. Can you please help. Thanks
For my G35 it was. I never had to change the power steering pump. It just needed a reset. It depends on what’s wrong since so many things can trigger the lights to come on as you saw. Could be low fluid for brakes, coolant, power steering, or a sensor that needs to be replaced
UPDATE : For anyone having this problem for me it just needs up being my ABS Relay I got one off eBay for 50$ swapped it out and it’s been working perfectly fine hope this helps.
It’s in limp mode, so you’ll want to run the diagnostic code with a code reader and fix what’s wrong. Then reset the system by disconnecting the negative black battery cable for 10 minutes
Thanks for posting this point . When I'm driving my car for 30 minutes is showing (slip +Vic ) light on . I checked the oils are ok .but still showing . And when I turned the car off it will not show . Aging after view minutes agin it will appear on screen. Kindly let me know #what's that mining. And if I drive the car for long way it will be any issues. Best regards my brother
This video is to reset the system, but if there is a problem, it needs to be addressed. You will need to have the codes read with the computer scanner. Many auto parts stores have them and will read the codes for free (at least here in the USA).
I have infinity 05 G35 manual transmission and I just got a oil change done and now my slip light comes on but is fully red not not the normal yellow slip light
For a titan truck.. So I replaced a relay for the horn and the slip light came on and stayed on. All electrics work, no issue with brakes, sensors, all fluid levels maximum.... Checked the fuse box ground.... Did the whole drive straight and unhook the battery things.... No luck, still on. It's the only light on. What can clear this darn light out? I can't see the 2wd 4x4 icon and select drive mode with the slip light on. Any ideas on the fix?
I have a NISSAN MAXIMA 2010 and on the dashboard the VDC lights is showing and I cannot turn it on ... there is a button whenever i press it the light of the VDC is not disappearing .. how to fix the VDC ???
iRaQi TiGeR As shown in the video, check all the levels of fluids, then move to sensors. You can try to have an auto parts store read the codes, and then remove the battery cable to reset it, but if that does not work you have to find out which sensor is causing it to stay on
U saved me literally i got to work and the abs started running the test and i turned off the car and that noise came on i did what u said and it worked
Derek Graham Take the car to an auto parts store and they can run the check engine light code. Resetting it may help, but if there is something wrong of course it will still come on
Hey Danny I hope to hear from you soon for I am stuck In a hard spot. This wouldn't be so hard if I had access to a code scanner but i do not.. none of my neighbors have one and I am almost an hour away from the nearest shop with the broken vehicle being my only one at the moment. My wife had the 03 Infiniti G35 at work and she called me saying there was a VDC, Slip & At Check and check engine light and the oil light was on. All the resivors were about half full and the oil maybe needed half a quart if that. The blinkers, taillights and the head lights (50%) of the time do not work. The car does not run very good cant make it to work until it's fixed. My neighbor is running me to advance 1 time get parts. If it's not fixed or I guess wrong im fuced. My final guess before I go is cam shaft sensor. Let me know what you think
Vehicle dynamic control VDC means traction control. It’s automatically on when you drive, which helps the car with stability. Turning it off when you push the button is disabling it and now you’re in manual mode as if the car did not have any kind of traction control. Some vdc systems can apply the brakes on only one wheel to straighten the car out.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue I’ve been trying to fix.
You can try gently tapping on it, but if it just won’t go away it may need to be replaced
when you start you car are you pressing the brake?? because i have these lights now and i didnt have them before
Abs relay . You need the codes scanned. What he did is just a system test and reset . It's not a fix. You need a scanner that reads abs codes. Just repaired mine and it was the abs relay
Good s!#! Sir, Quick fix on my Gf's daughters car I appreciate thanks for the tips! 👊🏼⚡️
Facts same for me, did you fix it by any chance if yeah what was the issue, this recently happened to me when I tried to switch a fuse.
Bruh... ive wondered what that pffff noise was for years 🤣🤣🤣.. thankyou!!
Every morning at pulloff the car would go pffff and i just got used to it.
It just happened to mine this morning, didn't disconnect anything , mine is 2006 auto coupe , I just switched transmission (D) to tiptronic (manual) and they all disappeared at once lol
I have a 2003 Nissan murano. With the same problem. I Just add brake fluid and took care of the problem
Juan Burciaga Nice! 👍🏼
How low was your fluid?
Thanks mind started wondering hard, gave me a sign relief and that’s exactly what it was piece broke off
Thanks for your video . Just now that happens to my car . And I was serah for the meaning .
Thanks you give my the reason.
If you cannot take off the light with scanner tool does it refer to faulty sensor?
Check all connections underneath the hood
I have a 2005 Nissan pathfinder. I replaced the coolant fan and the VDC light came on and will not go off. My fluids r good and I drove it around the block at 10 mph but still the light is on can u give me any ideas…
Thank you so much! It happend as soon as I got home from work while driving in the rain thanks for the explanation I was able to turn of the lights
Arctic Minibike so, how did it work? Everything back to normal with topped off fluid levels?
@@scottyscott1898 I never got around to it yet, but things have been fine for the last 2 weeks. It's only a matter of time before it does it again. The majority of threads point to the relay as the issue. It's just an expensive gamble. For now I'll keep doing the occasional cheap reset until it gets too frequent. I need to do the control arm bushings, so I'll look for a loose sensor or wiring. Seems odd that every time it happens corresponds to hitting a speed bump.
@@arcticminibike4033 definitely the abs relay . I replaced mine today with 1 from the junkyard it was 10 bucks compared to 220 new
All 3 of these lights are on in my 05 fx35, my gas pedal has no pressure, is that suppose to happen when the abs, slip n vdc light turn on?
The lights all come on for any sensor or fluid level, so it could be from a throttle position sensor, crank position sensor, low fluid levels...you’ll have to find out which one is causing it. If you can get a code reader it may be able to tell you
Just got my fixed to day to stop all this get ur crank angle sensor fix.and car back up to power runs fine
My car lost power while driving. There is no power in the pedal while in gear. But when in park there is power. Helpp!!
Brake fluid was low (almost time for new brakes). Thanks!
Thanks Danny! I'll check it out.
It could be the brake pedal switch, any ground wire under the hood or loose battery
Danny Johnson this morning when I got to work the relay was not on & buzzing. Don’t know what it could be
I have a 2006 G35X and the Slip, VCD Off and Brake lights all came on this morning. I read it can be as simple as being the car needs break fluid to worn break pads etc. I had mine towed to a trustworthy mechanic and hopefully I’ll have it back in a few days. Cars are fun...until they start things like this.
What was the issue? My g35x is doing it rn
The buzzing can be one of the ways it fails.
I had changed my plug and my uncle didn't plug the the plug in on the airbox back on the sensor and it also kick the vdc light on
I have a 2010 Nissan Maxima and my VDC Off light and Brake light was on. I put Brake fluid to the Max line and they turned off.
Big E Glad it worked!
I have videos for that and more in my playlist

So I have this problem but it acts up randomly when I’m driving and then can’t go above 5mph imma try this and see what’s up
Damn I gotta change my abs sensor :(
I changed it and nothing :(
So I've been having this problem and I hear the pump running when the car is off and my battery keeps dying. I replaced the battery but still hearing the pump and the battery died again. Could this be related?
If fluid levels are full it may just be the pump unfortunately. You can try tapping on it lightly with a metal hammer or wrench
Muy bien 👍
Unfortunately lights will come back on after you drive so that doesn't fix the issue.
It depends on why the light came on and what you did to fix it. In my case the system simply triggered and would be fine for a year at a time. For others they will add fluid or change a sensor and be good. It depends
I love this car and the battery disconnect advice is fantastic....
After the car is running for a while I’ll kill it and listen carefully got a buzzing and I never do?
Question,
When the slip and vdc lights go off on my daughters infinity m35x goes off there’s like a hesitation and scraping sound coming from the drivers side of the car.
Things that have been replaced
Axel(2)
Drive shaft
Carrier assembly
Note: the vdc & slip light came on after this work.
ANY insight would be very helpful
Could possibly be the wheel bearing (make sure the axle nut is correctly torqued).
Danny Johnson thank you we’ll try that
Proberly only 2 - 3 minutes you dont need 10 minutes to reset computer
Des M yeah, you’re right
Hey Danny,
I have this issue commonly on my 2005 G35x and it started just when the snow started falling.
Hey, I have a 2010 infinity qx56 , I change 3 tires after that around 3 hours I got the SLIP VDF off lights on
Are they all the same size or different size wheels?
My car has those lights but my car turns off, you know what it will be?
if you find out let me know my car just did the same turned it on whent around the block it died but then i started it back up still has the lights on tho might try to disconnect the battery
Crankshaft sensor
Thank you so much for all the information you shared with me.
On this Nissan, Slip off, TCS off and AT sign on. Jerking and Died. Want start and noticed when you turn the Ignition on, nothing on the Dash and then the lights come on and turns over but want start. Can you please help. Thanks
I would say bad batter or ground cable. Try it jump starting with another car.
I saw that 10mm craftsman wrench 🔧
What’s a permeant solution ?
For my G35 it was. I never had to change the power steering pump. It just needed a reset. It depends on what’s wrong since so many things can trigger the lights to come on as you saw. Could be low fluid for brakes, coolant, power steering, or a sensor that needs to be replaced
UPDATE : For anyone having this problem for me it just needs up being my ABS Relay I got one off eBay for 50$ swapped it out and it’s been working perfectly fine hope this helps.
How do you get rid of the low tire pressure ?
ruclips.net/video/nUNDvEzUjhI/видео.html
ok thank you Danny I was trying not to spend so much on it I was told it might cost me 12 to 15 hundred just to replace it
I have a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder, when I accelerate and exceed 40 km, slip activates and neutralizes, decelerates, how can I eliminate this error?
It’s in limp mode, so you’ll want to run the diagnostic code with a code reader and fix what’s wrong. Then reset the system by disconnecting the negative black battery cable for 10 minutes

Thanks for posting this point .
When I'm driving my car for 30 minutes is showing (slip +Vic ) light on .
I checked the oils are ok .but still showing . And when I turned the car off it will not show . Aging after view minutes agin it will appear on screen.
Kindly let me know
#what's that mining.
And if I drive the car for long way it will be any issues.
Best regards my brother
This video is to reset the system, but if there is a problem, it needs to be addressed. You will need to have the codes read with the computer scanner. Many auto parts stores have them and will read the codes for free (at least here in the USA).

Thanks bro for your advice . By the way I'm leaving in uae.
Best regards
No more infinity vehicles for me, I'm buying a Lexus in May, trading in my G35. I’m sick of these lights-stressing me out.
I hear you, but don’t expect any car to be perfect. They all have issues these days.
You are right, I’m just so frustrated.

Love the way you explain what to do
I have infinity 05 G35 manual transmission and I just got a oil change done and now my slip light comes on but is fully red not not the normal yellow slip light
Check all fluid levels and reset the battery. If it has a check engine light run the code with a code reader (most parts stores will do it for free)

Wondering if you are pretty knowledgeable with a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder?
This is what I got ruclips.net/p/PLIjr-uSYDZi7UBMvxfWAJfoAVTrq_5pXC

Ok what about ur abs light it’s still in why u never spoke about it yet
Robinson Charles Thomas Mark Smith Paul
Very help for my car ABS😁😁😁
Thanks so much bro good Chanel
I've done this but the light still come on.
What was your issue??? My cam and crankshaft sensors need replacing
Ok
Question..
Traction control "vdc" ..
Please explain ,what's the difference on
Drive on vdc on, and driving on vdc off.
Thank you
Vehicle dynamic control VDC means traction control. It’s automatically on when you drive, which helps the car with stability. Turning it off when you push the button is disabling it and now you’re in manual mode as if the car did not have any kind of traction control. Some vdc systems can apply the brakes on only one wheel to straighten the car out.
