They clearly stated what was “higher end” At no point did they say that mechanism was included in all models…….. But you thought you were gettin them good didn’t you
@@nickfruge5639 They claimed it was a "rack and pinion" mechanism, making no distinction between that mechanism... which they never showed without the interior panel concealing the mechanism, and the "rack and pinion" mechanism in their Legend safe, which they proudly showed off in great detail. A prospective purchaser would have every reason to assume that both functioned the same way. Why hide the internals on one, but show off the other with an identical description? Any reasonable person would be likely to infer the two were made the same way _as implied._ I guess I'm entitled to bring that up since I bought one and it wasn't cheap. I'm betting you don't even own one, Smartass.
Takes a jackhammer to break into and with steel rebar reinforced, a cutting torch or cold saw...plus it's part of the building so it isn't going anywhere.
@@ChrisEpler The average temp. of a home fire is 1200 degrees , steel Melting point is ( 2500 degree ) and concrete does not have a melting point .Concrete decomposes back to the sand or Agg it was made from . I noticed they didn't give any fire ratings on any safes though . Check out Harmon Safes The higher end safes have a 2 hour fire rating at 1850 degrees . But a small safe will run you around $1200 . The goal of any good safe is to not let the internal temperature exceed 350 degrees for what ever it is rated for . So a cheap safe with drywall insulation to burn longer than 30 minutes you can bet everything inside will be toast .
None of these safes have a fire rating of longer than 90 minutes . Harmon Safes have a fire rating of 2 hours ( 120 minutes ) at 1850 degree . But they aren't as pretty as these ! So I guess it boils down to , do you want protection or pretty ?
12 ga. Industrial cabinet, with the durock board glued to the outside....better cheaper. Don't have to worry about the gypsum causing rust issues...Ugly as hell,. Who cares
These safes look pretty with nice doors and all, but a $20 angle grinder will cut through the side in no time, just get insurance and forget about the expensive safe
One of few things if bought today, that will be working and benefiting others in 100 years from today.

They should point out the internal gears for the bolts are only in the very top end models.

It is cheaper to make very thick reinforced concrete walls than an equivelent steel wall.
