I just wonder regarding my 2020 year HP 15t-dy100 battery. Under installed batteries it states same design and and full charge capacity = 23285 mWh
But when I scrol down to 2020 year, under Battery capacity history it was 40947 mWh
So in three years time I suppose it lost 45% of its capacity. Is it right?
Do i need to replace my battery?

Sir in my hp 15s laptop last full charge is more than design capacity about 1000 more,is it bad or not?
Hi sir... If i have bought a new battery but after replacing the new battery in my laptop and it stops charging within 3days...and then i saw the battery health report, it shows its active since july 2023 under the history, so does it means that the battery is used battery and not a new one???

I just wanted to check my Laptop battery health since I never unplug it in the outlet ever since I bought it. It's a Acer Nitro 2019 i7 16Gb ram 1660Ti, been using it for light gaming and it held up pretty well for 3yrs. battery health just drop by 20 mins of usage time according to report (10k mWh out of 56K mWh) rarely turn it off. best purchase I've ever bought.
And Yes of course i could've just build my own pc but i bring this laptop with me when we go out sometimes, and i mostly watch youtube and anime with a bunch of tab open while gaming (RUclips tab videos arrange like a playlist not that bunch of tab you might think off 😉).

Full Charge Capacity: 27,099 mWh
Should I replace the battery? Moreover, it goes from 100% to 40% in about 45 min and then from 40% to 0% in about 20 min. Please advise. Thanks.
80% battery is occupied by an opened web browser. Try closing and then calculate the battery usage time manually.

It still has about 65% battery life left which isn't too bad
If you're happy with the battery lasting for an hour then there's no reason to change it for now
Today I received my new dell battery from Amazon, and when I checked battery report, it shows usage history from 2019. Did they sent an used battery or what 🤔

Yes. If your full charge capacity is lower than 50%, then it is a faulty battery.
If your full charge capacity is lower than 80%, then it is not optimized.
Design capacity - 90,006 mWh
Full charge capacity - 93,637 mWh

Just check my battery report, and it says
Design capacity: 38.000 mWh
Full charge capacity: 4.058 mWh
No wonder why it only takes less than 10 minutes from 100% to 5% lmao😂 (I've been using my laptop since 2014 until now). It starts to drain quickly since 2019. At this point, will it be better if i buy a new laptop😂(?). I wanted to buy a new one, but my sisters hardly judges me for it, considering i wanted to buy quite the expensive one using my savings (i use a lot of software such as adobe creative suite, to help running my career as a graphic designer). Is it consider to be an irresponsible purchase?
Btw if you guys have any recommendations of any laptop that suitable to use in a creative field, let me know😅.
If you want to keep using your laptop, then I would suggest getting a new battery. But, a laptop from 2014 is pretty old, so newer ones are more efficient.
