- How to Check your Laptop's Battery Health in Windows 10?
Step 1: Click on the Search box, and then type 'Command Prompt,' and then Right click on 'Command Prompt.'
Step 2: Click on 'Run As Administrator.'
Step 3: Type the command below, and then Hit Enter.
powercfg /batteryreport
Step 4: Now, Copy the path of html file. Open your web browser, paste the path in address bar, and then hit Enter key on the keyboard. You will get detailed report of your Laptop's battery health.

To be honest i just want to see battery health in percentage tho 😐

My battery is at 100% but When i unplugged the laptop it will automatically turn off

I don’t know anything about computers but a while ago a Best Buy worker said my phone had bad battery health and it got me wondering how to check my laptops since it’s usually connected for days and days (I assume that’s bad) and I’m a college student so I use it daily. I want to check if it’s healthy or not but not sure how to tell. Thank you!!

hi, i bought my laptop as new one and in the battery report it shows that it has usage at 2021-04-30 and onwards until end of the year, does it mean that it was use by someone else and that it isnt new??

You may or may not, It totally depends on your requirements. If you want more than 1 hour and 30 mins of run time, you should consider replacing it.
