    In the battery capacity history, my design capacity goes down with my fulll charging capacity. I went from 59wh design capacity to 49wh. I don't think my design capacity should be going down

      @@eliefares2755 When it goes up to 53000 it means you used your computer for lighter tasks such as web browsing, when it goes down to 45000 mah it means you're using the computer for heavy tasks such as gaming, CAD softwares, video editing etc. It happens because your battery still can keep 53000 mah energy but it can't provide enough current when you draw too much energy and the voltage drops faster. The stats are very accurate, but they're not for the end users.

    This looks nothing like my report. In my report, under the "Battery capacity history" section, the "design capacity" decreases over time along with "full charge capacity". In fact, the two columns are exactly equal to one another for every single row.

      Probably you have conservation mode on. What it does is charge the battery to certain % and then runs it via AC. I have a Lenovo and when I activate it, it charges till 60% and then gets powered by the charger. That's to avoid battery damage

    • @sali-ali
      @sali-ali 2 года назад

      If it shutdowns like if you unplugged a desktop pc from the wall without any notice yes, there is a risk to damage your HDD, SSD's are less prone to such damage but there is always a risk to lose data. If it shutsdown normally like saying turning off than no, there is no any risk to damage anything.

It's just how world works, you use it for what you need as long as it lasts once it's dead you buy new one.. or charge to 85% max to extend life.
