There is a lot of discussion here about scratches. People, there are protective caps made of soft plastic in the big Amazon store for a few cents that you can simply put over your watch when you are doing outdoor activities. The buttons are left out and can be operated. At home and when you are wearing evening wear, you can simply take them off again. That is why my Fenix 7x Sapphire still looks like it has just come out of the store after two years.
I ordered black one 47, think it looks more rugged and I wear it almost 24*7 so I want to have something which is not bright and draws my attention. But it’s completely a personal choice, both colour are beautiful
As an owner of the stainless steel bezel version of the original Epix Gen 2, I for sure would go silver here. But I do know the dark look is preferred by many. For me tho it’s silver all the way. 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes I would love to have the black one with the "sporty" orange band, and the silver with the "classic" black band. I wonder how the bronzy protection piece stands out with a black band. And I already have a 22mm Quick fit orange band, if it suits well with the black version it would be a plus. Maybe just a Short ?
As an infantry Marine I can tell you that you’ll get reflection and shine from the sapphire crystal much more so than you get from the thin bezel. So for a “tactical, low vis” viewpoint, the bezel is irrelevant. Just my $0.02.
