I came to your video looking for an answer to this. Not the answer I was looking for. I find the lack of level 4 retention to be a safety hazard. I get in the car and expect it to behave one way and it reverts. It is scary when I don't expect my car to start rolling and it does. This is really tough going back and forth- for someone who certainly prefers level 4, this stinks Kia.

I have numerous 20 mm bands but I think I saw adapters somewhere where I can use them on the Watch 7 Ultra.....anybody know for sure?

dont look like ultra 7 display any bigger than the pro wow and for the price but i like to know if the display on ultra 7 is a bigger over the watch 6

Thanks for the comparison. I decided to keep my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and trade in my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic on the Ultra as I don't really use the rotating bezel on the Classic and get better battery life on my 5 Pro.

Watch 7 Ultra is too big for me, I don't want a chunky watch.

Decided to go for this because they're offering $300 for my Watch 4 Classic. Funny part is I wear it on my left wist backwards so it looks like I'm just wearing a bracelet and I wear my old school mechanical Seiko Sharp Edge on my right right wrist. I just really need the phone functionality and long battery life of the Ultra 7. I also traded in my Galaxy Buds Pro 2's becase they're offering $100 for them which is what I paid for them a year ago when I traded in an old pair of Galaxy Buds, which were a free gift when I bought a Samsung laptop. Meanwhile I'm about to go the full 3 years with my Galaxy Fold 3 phone because the trade in offers for that are abysmal for an excellent best I've ever had phone. I think I can easily keep that another year or two.

Thanks for the video! I have a 5 pro and was looking for this exact comparison. Just pre ordered the the 7 ultra. People seem to hate the design but it reminds me of higher end automatics-especially the two tone finish. I'm a larger guy so the 20mm bands and case diameter of the 5 pro always seemed off.

I have the samsung 6 classic, I rarely wear it cause it's heavy. I was hoping the S7 ultra would be lightweight like my Enduro 2.. might have to skip this generation :(

Great content. I'm getting the watch 7 ultra. To me, it looks like a Panerai luminor chronograph. If you don't know what that is, google it. The stainless steel version or titanium version of the Panerai luminor chronograph cost between 10 to 15,000. I'll take the 7 ultra.

Finally back to 22mm but no rotating bezel!🤬 plus none of my many bands will work because it uses a different apple like mechanism for the band.. complete failure on that part .

What about accessing the spare tire compartment? Does it bend nicely on the portion in the back that doesn't lift or does it have to be re-aligned every time its lifted? I don't have a spare tire and keep a lot of stuff in there, so I open it often. Would have been nice to see how it reacts to opening that compartment!

Thanks for the video, we just picked up our EV9 yesterday and were searching for videos on how to make LV4 default. Coming from a tesla, this is a big hassle but not a deal breaker, this car is so much better than our MY and MX. Hopefully an update fixes this. I dont care about the efficiency of regen braking, I want to not use my brake pads up

In some alternate universe this may have made sense but the Model Y was the best selling vehicle in the world in 2023 & will likely do the same in 2024. Also the safest car in the world btw.

I went to kia dealer to lease ev9 i checked 3 units and they all had something not working i loved the car but i cant take something with broken parts from the get go it was not a good sign so i left without leasing but i loved the car but i guess it was not for me from God he gave me a wrong signal tell me guys did i do right or wrong when specially i bought kia once before and it turns into lemon law claim

Do you have cargo length and width with 2nd and 3rd rows down? I am not a fan of cubic ft measurement. Most people need to know if something will fit. Thank you.

Great review, we just picked up the EV9 same color exterior, although I was sooooo against EVER owning one, this thing has TOTALLY changed my opinion of EV's. Wish you had tried normal with 4 wheel lock engaged to compare to snow mode. I just got the EV9 GT line in the same color. I live in Mississippi so we don’t get snow often. When we do I will have to try it or take a trip up to Tennessee mountains to see how it works. Maybe you can compare it this coming winter. All in all great videos on your EV9. As with you, limited storage like in the center console is a negative with them putting in the back seat storage pullout. I would rather liked them to put in a short console for 2nd row and give me, the driver more console storage. I like to put my wallet and 9mm in the center storage in my Lincoln Aviator, so I miss that feature in my EV9. Will have to look at options for storage. I do love the cup holder design, very versatile. And actually, I have had it for one night so really no miles except for coming home from the dealership. But today, going to take it out for some driving. Anyway, love your videos. And we did look at the Rivian, Lirique, Model 3, Model Y, Ioniq 5 & 6. Didn’t get to try out the Genesis, BMW Ix, or Mercedess EQS, or Etron’s. I do like the one pedal in the EV9. Didn’t realize it disengages if you shift gears. Will check that out today. I also got a great deal on the price. I wanted something comparable in size to our Aviator, although it’s just me and the wife, now. But when we travel we like the extra room and when we are near our three kids we can transport them around with us with plenty of room. The EV9 will provide that like the Aviator does. I do tow with the Aviator so I might investigate in a hitch for hitch. Have you towed with it and if so how much did the range suffer?

Car is awesome ! In my case car is in dealership in Toronto for 4 days . Car is only 2 weeks old . Check electric system light came in . Car not able to charge AC charger - only DC . 4 days no result .

The ground clearance is really appreciated that they kept it low. We use this to shuttle our families around and the grandparents can get into the captains chairs very nicely while the kids stuff into the back. This thing is definitely a Road Yacht.

Your comment about preferring to manually keep distance is so funny to me. I think I’m the opposite and prefer adaptive cruise control and maintaining far distance on the highway and manually keeping in the lane, though this car seems to be good at keeping in lane drivers in LA don’t care about lane lines and will side swipe you no problem.

Yes totally sucks. I will never buy Samsung watch again. Also my heart rate is always actually 10 bpm lower than the watch measures. Also when resting and what you write the monitor just stops tracking in some types of workout. Had Garmin before and I must say they are worlds apart.

It’s interesting that on every single Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis EV forum, everyone has been complaining about the issue you mentioned of the regen turning off when you turn the car off or when you go into reverse for two years now. So far, the Hyundai Motor Group, parent of these companies, has not done anything about that. They’ve finally started to address the lack of wireless CarPlay, but have yet to make that retroactive to older models in the U.S. hopefully they will do so.

I've been driving EVs for almost a decade and I prefer two pedal operations and coasting a lot. On our old RAV4 EV, we have a breaking drive mode, that we can switch into and out of for a more regenerative one pedal operation that I appreciate. Thanks for your review.
