      To answer my question earlier I did call up the dealer and they told me that the 5835r does hook right up to their 200 series backhoe np 😍...It almost makes me want to find a bigger backhoe for that unit. I’m sure that beast could handle it no problem. What a amazing machine. I will be sending some videos on the property with it all in action ha.

    I own a 2400H with a loader and backhoe. It's a little tank. I bought it from Mathis. Hands down a great place to purchase a Branson. They answer the phone and have great service. I live in Knoxville, TN about 3 hours away. I plan on buying my next Branson from these guys.

    This is my first tractor. Priced a Kubota with a 25 hp, 5 ft rotary cutter, 5 ft loader bucket and box blade with a canopy and it came out to $25k (and this was with a cash price discount). Then I found the Branson 2515H which is 25 HP, came with the 5ft loader and bucket, 5 ft rotary cutter, 5ft box blade and i added a 5 ft grapple with a true 3 way valve installed on it and delivered to me 335 miles away for $23k now if i had picked it up and not gotten the grapple it would have cost me a little less the $21k so a $4k price difference, plus let's not forget about the lift capacity the kubota only had a 1200lb lift capacity compared to the branson that has a 2200 LB lift capacity. Being as I live in west texas and the property i bought this to work on is covered by those tire killing Mesquite as soon as they dropped it off i yanked the tires off and took them to get poly filled (solid rubber). added roughly 1100 lbs to my rear end. This upped my lift capacity immensely, I have picked up 3500 lbs with my grapple. So yes this tractor is a work horse. So now for the good, I have used this thing to bush hog 20 acres of mesquite that had about 5 years worth of growth, i have box bladed over many post holes from the pipe fence that i have yanked out of the ground with this tractor, i have knocked down a steel barn and some loafing sheds with it. I have dug a 5ft deep hole with the loader to top off with the concrete from said posts, covered it up and box bladed it smooth after filling it and the post holes in with the remaining dirt. So yes this tractor has done everything i have asked it to do... Including the demolition of a mobile office building. And yes loaded all that junk onto trucks to haul to the scrap yard or dump. Oh i forgot about the dead tree that i was really surprised to yank out of the ground. In the two months i have had it, i have put close to 200 hours on it.
    Now for the bad, I don't know if it was the dealer or the factory or maybe a little bit of both, by the time i hit 50 hours for my first maintenance on it, i had to torque down the engine mount bolts, the fuel tank straps (actually lost one of the nuts), the radiator hoses came loose and hydraulic lines came loose, even found that the grease fittings on the loader were only in there finger tight., bolts that mounted the loader to the tractor and quite a few others. So do yourself a favor when you get one of these and get the tools out and go through and tighten everything up. So far the only actual design flaw i can find on this thing is the headlight/turn signal switch needs to be elsewhere, climbing on and off the tractor i can't tell you how many times i have hit it with my leg, I'm thinking one day It's just going to bust on me. Now keep in mind i did brush cut a ton of tall mesquite and needless to say i can't tell you the number of Cotter pins and keys that got ripped out, surprisingly the only pin that i lost was the one pin for the draw bar. WHICH brings up what i would say is the second design flaw for this tractor, when that pin popped out i of course did not notice right away, but when i did it was jammed all the way in and actually gouging the casing on the transmission if it had gone on long enough I'd have probably ended up with a cracked transmission housing. So do yourself a favor and pull the pin and store it and the draw bar somewhere that it will do no harm until you happen to need it.

      Yeah, I think.my owners manual said to check the bolts after the initial 10hours. But that's a common issue with every new tractor. Always keep an eye on the nuts and bolts. I use a paint pen to mark across the bolt head or nut so when the lines no longer match up, I know the nut or bolt has loosened.

    • @alanschwartz721
      @alanschwartz721 3 года назад

      @@HamiltonvilleFarm Yea mine said to do it with the 50 hr maintenance, now it's just routine start of the day, check fluids, check bolts, I think i will do the paint on the bolts that will make it a lot easier. But other then the couple tiny issues, I absolutely love my 2515H... I've started making up reasons to pull it out of the garage, oops gotta go check the mail, take the tractor.

    After watching this video I bought a 2515R and a ditch bank flail mower. The dealer, The Tractor Store in Eugene, Oregon installed rear hydraulic ports for the flail.I've had it a couple of weeks and I'm thrilled with it. Fall is setting in which means a lot of rain here in Oregon so I won't get much chance to use it till late Dec when we typically get dryer weather. Thanks Hank for the video.

      @@stolenjunk Well it turned out I had to wait till mid spring for the ground to dry and firm up enough to use the Branson 2515 because of it's weight it would have sunk into the ground. Once I got to use it it did a great job. I got the R model with shuttle shift which took a little time to adjust to. I also had to send it back to the dealer to change the positioning of the rear remotes but the dealer did a great job of fixing it to my needs so no worries. It's probably to large for my property but it is the smallest tractor that would handle the ditch bank flail mower which I need. Otherwise it's several days with a weed whacker on three or four occasions each year to keep up with the grass and weeds. Now I can do it in an hour sitting on the Branson. I still have to weed whack a little because the mower will not reach all the way up the bank that surrounds my home on three sides but I can finish it up in an hour now. So I'm happy.

    I have been looking for tractors for awhile now. I had my heart set on a kioti ck2610 till i saw the 2515. I will have to say I wish branson as well as kioti and other manufactures would pay attention to where they put the hydraulic lines for the loader. Most of the tractors on the market have them wide open for limbs or whatever to rip them right off the machine. I realize not everyone uses their tractors for tasks that involve dangers such as sticks and stuff to be going where they shouldn't but it would be nice to see them designed differently to address the issue.

      @@stolenjunk I love it! A couple of months ago, we used it like a tank to run over small trees on the back of our property so we could cut them out and make wide pathways through our woods.
      I've also used it to fix mine and my neighbor's gravel driveways (with the box blade) and to landscape an area of ours and her property for better water drainage.
      It took some practice at first, but it's easier to use the tractor than it is to actually get the landscaping stuff right.
      It's proven to be really strong and reliable, and I have zero complaints.
      When I first brought it home, I thought maybe I'd gone a little large for our 4.5 acre property.
      However, once I'm using it and it's 5' wide implements, it seems just right.

    Nice workup on the Branson tractors a couple of things your rep was calling the 5835R to have an air suspension seat I don't see that I believe it is a mechanical suspension seat. Also it only has a single speed PTO most of the Bransons had 2 speeds 540 and 540E some also had 1000 rpm.
    While I think Branson makes a decent machine personally I am quite perturbed by the lack of support they offer for some of there tractors.
    I find it hard to believe that they would sell a model in this country without having a service/shop manual available for it.
    It is completely unreasonable that they do NOT have a complete service manual in English for what was there biggest and top of the line tractor the 8050 with a cab.

    I see the quick change on the front end, what implements will it pick up or use? I see round bales of hay always picked from one end an that to me is making for more lift on the tail of the tractor, why can't you stab them bales from the side? I know it makes for more bales on the trailer but just getting them there looks real difficult. Plus more strain on that front end so I would think keeping the load as close to the machine for stability... am I wrong?

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm
      @HamiltonvilleFarm  4 года назад

      The bales would fall apart if you lifted them from the side. You can attach any quick attach capable attachment to it as long as the attachment is rated for the weight/hp of the tractor. Keep in mind if the lift capacity of the tractor is 2100Lbs and you add a 600lb attachment, now you can only lift 1500lbs worth of load. Thanks for watching Morgan. Have a good day! Cheers.

    I would like to see how they hold up after about 500 hours of pretty hard use. Yeah it may lift 2100 lbs but what will that do to the front axle. That axle/tires aren't as big as they are on typical compact that can lift that much. The other problem is there are so few dealers that people who own a Branson or TYM are few and far between so there isn't a lot of feedback on these machines - even dedicated tractor forums.

    Good Afternoon!
    Im new here and I am about to pull the trigger on a tractor.
    I have been looking at the branson for years and have always been thought they looked tough but sceptical of the dependability.
    Here lately it appears the spec and quality is far surpassed some other manufactures.
    I could really use a tractor. Im willing to buy green red orange white, purple or any color. I can get a full package of everyrhing i need for less than just a tractor from the main stream suppliers But I want it to be dependable and last.
    I want a Branson but so many folks around here say no. Better get green. Better get orange. Better get this or that.
    I have a Branson dealer about 20 mins away.
    Could you Branson owners please help me?
    Im looking at a 2515H or R as well as a 3515H or R.
    25 HP no DPF or 35 hp DPF?
    Which ones worth what?
    With the TYM is Branson gonna be around or phased out?
    As far as working with the tractor:
    I want a grapple with 3rd funntion. And a 5 foot cutter for bush hogging.
    Any help yall can give me with as much detail would be awesome.
    Like for anyone this is a big purshase for me and I just want to be certain whichever route i go there will be years of dependable service. Parts and repair if needed.

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm
      @HamiltonvilleFarm  2 года назад

      Check hydraulic line connections. Sometimes they look connected but are not. Also look to see if there is a kink in any part of the hydraulic hoses under Neath the tractor. Now, have someone raise the loader with the engine one and you SAFELY look underneath the machine while it’s being raised to see if any the hoses under neath the machine “collapses”. These are some simple steps to take to see if you can rule out connections or a bad hose

      @@HamiltonvilleFarm thank you getting back to me. I've checked for kinked or smashed hoses, I don't see anything.
