Praise the Lord. I was praying that tractor would start working. Prayed it would not be much to fix it. Well the Lord came thru. Glad you were able to help Dusty and the bison ranch. Romans 828. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. God bless you Daniel.
Now I'm convinced moisture got in some electronic part after the wash. Took a couple days to dry out and started working again. Way cool stuff and I love all the tractor and skid steer work. Can't wait to see how the seeding turns out.
Hey Daniel, Why did you choose to paint your large warehouse BLACK ? As you probably know, that warehouse is gonna be HOT - especially in the summer !! Probably be nice and warm in the winter ? Are you going to put HVAC in the building ? Just wondering.........? Thanks for sharing - I like your tractor and that seed planting attachment. It's going to be interesting to see the results of both yours and Dusty's planting !!
Glad to hear the tractor is working. Maybe after the washing some connector or sensor was wet. Otherwise if it is a sporadic problem, those are a pain in the arse to figure out. You're the man, Daniel. Have an awesome day and glad you were able to help the neighbor out.
When you washed the tractor before you took it over, you may have gotten some water in a wire harness that caused a short. Once dried out, it works just fine.
I believe that the problem can be found in the emotional detector board of the tractor. These are notorious for teaching us to be humble. The amount of humility taught is directly proportional to the amount of work that needs to be completed. Hope you learned your lesson. LOL
Who knows, Daniel? Maybe one of you would have had an accident on the tractor that day, and that was God telling you to wait! You know some things are not for us to know. God is in control and I for one am glad he is! I pray for your family daily! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
@keeperofthelists4771 so if you get hit by a car it's not an accident it's a instant brilliance. This is the real world not a Fantasyland. There are accidents everywhere and everyday every year
Enjoyed the video! I sure like to see the friendship between country folks and the small country community. Daniel, you are a work hard worker and your home and property shows the effort you put into it. Thanks for sharing
Love Bear. So happy you were able to help Dusty. I had to laugh. He reminded me of a little boy playing with his new toy. I love that old structure. Daniel you’re doing an awesome job with your land. Love to all❤
Hi Daniel and Dusty. You could have had air in the system causing a blocked line. It's great that yall can help each other. Family is everything. God bless and love yall ❤❤
I was wondering how they got the fields so uniform now I see. I love farms. I never owned one but my grandfather had a dairy farm in upstate NY I never got to see because such dysfunctional family. Now I'm 68 trying to start a small homestead named Nana's Small Town Homestead in WV. Starting with Rabbits. Just had 7 babies now I have 10. Never despise small beginnings. ❤❤😊
What messes everyone up about the "ceder trees" is they are thinking of Cedar trees that make good wood. You should call them Juniper trees and I bet you would get a lot less blow back!
Something I learned while working in electronics for about 13 years was to keep a spay can of electrical contact cleaner on hand and when problems like this occur, unplug, spray good and re-plug the connectors and see if that solves the problem. Repaired a lot of equipment that way.
Nice job Daniel. Glad it worked out. God doesn't make accidents. We're all blessed beyond our own recognition. You bless us all with your videos and love for humanity. And the Lord will always take care of you.
Great news that the tractor came back to life for you. Funny, these days we have to think in terms of hard re-booting for vehicles and equipment. Extra cookies for that Bear unit.
So glad that your tractor is working. Hopefully you will have no more issues with it. Dusty is getting all of his seeds planted for his bison and now you can plant your seeds for your Littles. Grass at the merch building looks so much better now that it’s all cut. Can’t wait to see the merch building when it’s finally completed. Thanks for sharing your farm days with us.
Possible cause of your problem could be moisture getting into the controls/connections. You wash your tractors and equipment frequently and I'm guessing moisture is getting to the electrical controls/connections. Took a day or two to dry out and started working normally. Just be more careful when you wash your equipment.
If you put a light layer of straw down - it may keep the birds off of the seeds. Yeah, Bear loves his time to shine. Oh, I see it - I prayed for rain when all the stuff is finally out. Then it can help get ridge of it from the trees plus. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing, eh :))
Your pretty lucky to be doing all the things you do I wish I could've started something like that when I was younger I love doing things like that but I'm too old now so you guys keep up those good videos I'll keep watching them.
I previously was assigned to our IT section within my department. When we had a computer issue, first fix was to reboot, second was to unplug, remove laptop battery, then restart. Third fix was the 1-2 inch drop test. Hold 1-2 inches from tabletop, release. Computer/laptop fell 1-2 inches. Approx. 95% of the problems, issues, were fixed.
LOL..I told you that you just washed the tractor too much and put it into shock!! Now it has recovered:)). The grassy area around the merch building compared to when you started is like a lawn. TY for being the good neighbor and friend to Dusty. You and your wife live the Christian life as Christ wanted. People watch what you do versus listening to what you say, however your words carry much weight. TY for sharing both the walk and the words. Best wishes from San Antonio, Tx.
Hey the tractor was upset you took it away from it’s home and when it heard you say it was going to have to go to the doctor and get fixed in a few days it said NOPE! I’ll start working now and go where Daniel wants me to go but I’m not going to the doctor’s and have all those strange hands all over me. 😂 Glad it started working for you and your brother.🇺🇸
Wonder if something might have gotten wet while you were rinsing the tractor off, after setting there for a couple of days it dried out and no more issues... Best of luck no more little surprises with it and it continues working the way it's supposed too!
I did crimson, strawberry, and dutch white clover along with oats and hairy vetch and they were so pretty. I was doing them as a cover crop and when I got it knocked down a d mulched in the ground it choked out the ugly weeds and now I have thick, soft gras growing. The good grass is actually choking out the stringy yucky grass slowly but surly. I have thick green grass instead of uglu yellow and light green hard stuff
Daniel, there is a plug in on the side of the transmission sometimes that connection will get dirty and not make connection. Take starter fluid or break parts cleaner and spray both ends out, very possible that will fix your problem. God bless and have a great day.
I had a 1994 GMC Sierra had it for 16 years. The truck one day would not go out of first gear. I slowly made my way to the mechanics garage, parked shut off the engine. Went out to truck with mechanic and put it in reverse pulled out went forward and it shifted through all gears. You may really need that 50 hour flush. My mechanic said my system needed a flush but since I was going to sell the truck just let her sit then change from forward to reverse to clear the gunk. I know you had trouble with forward and reverse it sat and the junk, gunk cleared.
Many people don’t take into account that car, and machine manufactures don’t make all the components that go into assembly. So when there’s a poor wire connection, a faulty switch, or something don’t be in a hurry to blame the manufacture. As long as your dealer stands behind the product and give you good service, that’s about the best you can ask for now days, and it sounds like you have a good dealer so your right to not blame the manufacturer.
I've found that a good mask does wonders for greatly reducing my allergy response to mowing. I greatly recommend it. Remember that the ones with the exhaust port keep you cooler.
Crimson and Clover over and over I had to throw that in there. The song just jumped in my head when you said that but the mixing the seed like that was almost like therapeutic running your hands to the seedlings and it’s relaxing anytime you’re on the tractor doing something constructive it’s relaxing.😂😂😂😂
Hey Daniel, my Dad had issues starting the tractor, after washing it down. The trick was to pick a hot day, make sure it was in full sun, lift up all covers and let it air dry. If desperate Mums hair dryer went missing now and again, to get to the centre of things. Happy Seeding?
Morning Daniel, So glad the tractor started! Maybe you cid the reset without even knowing you did it. That was cute saying it wzs like sending the kids off their first time. 😊 Good luck Dusty 🤞 So glad Dusty got the planting done. Yep your grass was tall. Glad you got it down. Now to pic up you other tractor! A good day today. Now you can put it to work. God Bless 👋😊❤👍
Gotta love a reset, just keep listening for the hydraulic pump noise.. ... with your copious amounts of free time 😁 you could make cedar rounds from the smaller trees and branches (3-5") and make a woodburnt logo on them, sell them for drawers and closets. But it would be a lot of work for a side hustle.
Glad you got the tractor running for Dusty to use. The mowing at the Merch building really collected a lot of pollen. You should keep a few allergy pills in your glovebox of your truck and I think you probably already always have water that way you could take your allergy meds quicker. Another wonderful video! Love to all. Grammie Suzie ❤️
I am going to go with my guess from during the last video I left unsaid, I'm betting when you hosed the tractor down the water got into some relay/board and temporarily shorted out a circuit and it needed to dry out, not unlike getting water into getting water into the distributor cap in the old cars.
It’s the old barn. When they got the property there was a buzzard in there hatching a couple of eggs. Daniel decided to keep the barn. Hopefully he still will. I was trying to comment that I was glad he had saved it but every so often I lose a place to comment. Thanks for saying something so I could butt in. 🤷♀️🤷♀️❤️
I know nothing about engine's but I was wondering if maybe you got just a drop of water in some electrical bits when you hosed it down and it caused it to stop the tractor working until it dried up. What ever happened at least it's going again and can be used. Happy seeding.
This reminds me of the story of the wife who drives the car and something starts happening. She takes the car home and tells her husband something is wrong with the car, but when the husband drives it nothing happens it works fine. Then wife get mad. Lol
Great to see the sharing of equipment. No sense in having equipment sitting around when you don’t need it. Helps to strengthen the family relationship too. Hopefully the electrician will get working on the merch building. Thanks for sharing the video.
Rebooting the computer on anything usually helps. I have a roku for watching on the tv and rebooting it helps a whole lot. Even my cell phone from time to time helps.
@Daniel, the ECU will store the 'soft' codes for the Tech to note or solve. Doing a 'Hard' reset clears those codes. There's good and bad to clear all the codes. If it codes up / stops working, leave the codes for the Tech. This is the same advice for cars/ trucks.
CTRL ALT DEL works for my computer and I know they have comp on the engines and the brain. So hard shut down works sometimes Daniel . So if hard shut down does not work then is when you call for service. Have a Blessed weekend and be safe Love my Arms Family.
Lot of great viewpoints from the camera. That has to take a lot of time! What an absolutely beautiful creek at the drive in you have! That is something special! I love the little falls.
Daniel... I suggest you write down any error codes so that you can give them to the mechanic...just in case. I do that with my car & my mechanic asks me when I call what the codes are so he has an idea of what to expect. That way if the codes disappear he has a start point.
Hey Daniel if the shuttle is computer controlled it may have a wire slightly loose and you managed to jiggle it coming out your driveway and jiggled it back when you went back in so it may be a very difficult problem to solve if it shows up again
Daniel, Sometimes God allows trials to teach us patience and other times trials come and we don't understand why, but He was orchestrating circumstances behind the scenes and we may never know..... We must just Thank Him in All Things!...Glad everything worked out this time in your favor....God is Good! 😊

Aka good ol technology
You got water in place it shouldn't get when you washed it and it dried up and worked again!😂
Now I'm convinced moisture got in some electronic part after the wash. Took a couple days to dry out and started working again. Way cool stuff and I love all the tractor and skid steer work. Can't wait to see how the seeding turns out.
Immediately what I thought too
100% agreed. Check all your fuse boxes and relay boxes, harnesses etcetera.
I enjoy seeing you and Dusty together.. he’s such a caring young man and you are easy going, caring too. Great family dynamics!! 🥰🥰
They were friends long before they were family.
SO important these days !!
Hey Daniel,
Why did you choose to paint your large warehouse BLACK ? As you probably know, that warehouse is gonna be HOT - especially in the summer !! Probably be nice and warm in the winter ? Are you going to put HVAC in the building ?
Just wondering.........? Thanks for sharing - I like your tractor and that seed planting attachment. It's going to be interesting to see the results of both yours and Dusty's planting !!
Those days are nice, when things just come together.
Daniel, your tractor just didn't want Dusty driving it!!! Lol. Happy Dusty got his seeding done without problems.❤❤❤
Glad to hear the tractor is working. Maybe after the washing some connector or sensor was wet. Otherwise if it is a sporadic problem, those are a pain in the arse to figure out. You're the man, Daniel. Have an awesome day and glad you were able to help the neighbor out.
That was my thought too, that something on the tractor got wet and then took a couple of days to dry out before it would work again.
My thought too. We had a 72 Malibu that every time it got wet it’d conk out. That was my first thought when I saw him hosing the tractor down.
If you prune that apple tree on the lower branches, it will produce more apples next year. I bet the pig and donkeys would love those apples.
When you washed the tractor before you took it over, you may have gotten some water in a wire harness that caused a short. Once dried out, it works just fine.
I agree !
That is my thought as well!!

Yes, to all of family working together, and playing also.🎉🎉🎉🎉.
Daniel you should put a winch on the front of your trailer in case you have future problems like this one
Yeah. A winch on BOTH tractors.
👍
Don’t think we didn’t notice you offered the cab-less tractor to Dusty! A good excuse to move the tractor with AC back to your house. 🤣😂🤣
Looks so good with the grass cut. Makes the place looks so clean and fresh.
