Great truck, hope you take care of it. My Raptor is at about 84K miles so far with no issues. One of the key for longevity is to change your oil between every 3K to 4K; clean your engine air filter between oil changes and replace it at 8K or before.
I ride with my back slider open with exhaust always in Baja I don’t care if it’s a V8 or V6 to me sounds cool it has character just adds some fun to my drive to work and home after a hard day in a factory
Good video man. After reading some of the comments, people need to find better things to do then post worthless comments about others videos. I appreciate the video - keep it up.
@@ShelbyPaget I have the Whipple stage one on my gen 3 , upgraded inner cooler keeps the turbo temp way down compared to stock , the tune adjusts the shift point power band mapping and adds 40hp and 80 foot lbs torque , all backed by FP . It’s night and day , the Eibach springs that come with the Pro lift kit ( 2,2 front 1,5 rear ) ride better than stock coils , the 0 offset method 305 double.black push the tires out the perfect amount , Ps the Eibach kit raises rear 1” not 1.5 no squat no rake perfect stance
From what I have heard from owners of the B & O system, you have to adjust the fade back to hear the headrest better. Your comment about it is a ford, will have problems is a joke. All manufacturers have their issues... The faster you go with the truck, the shocks work even better. The truck is a beast. I have a 17 and still love it today.. Way to much fun...
Sick truck I’m gonna get the same one hopefully I can find the truck with the blue recaros but it wouldn’t be a deal breaker to just have the black interior
I was thinking about getting the F150 Platinum instead of the Raptor primarily so that I could get the luxurious, all leather, massaging, reclining front seats that come with the Platinum (I do a lot of highway driving which might make that more relevant), thinking they'd be much more comfortable, and then doing some after market customizing/raptorizing to the Platinum. But hearing your comments about how plush and comfortable the seats are in your raptor was great insight, so now I'm reconsidering the choice. It sure would be nice to have the raptor, black or dark grey, just need to decide to stay with the 35's or upgrade to the 37 performance package you got. The Platinum will also get better mpg, and I suspect the 35 raptor will get a little better mpg versus the 37 raptor, but still, man that Raptor, I really want one! And unless I customize the Platinum to add the spring suspension of the raptor with a lift, and some offset, I'd only get leaf struts with the Platinum. I've heard those raptor springs make it an incredible smooth drive.
I’d get a Raptor , if you build out a platinum ( see PAX power builds ) they look and run great , but when you sell , you get no value for the 30-40 k in upgrades you put in , resale on a Raptor is much higher , the gen 3 is pretty plush inside , I have the Recarro seats they are sweet
Am I seeing that large center screen right, are you getting Internet on that, can you watch youtube videos on that and such? If so, is it difficult to find locations to get reception? Other? And do you think it's worth jumping from the 35's to the 37's? If so, why? Oh, and how did you find it running in the narrower ruts of other vehicles with its extra width, any issues, sliding left and right all the time for instance, or fine? Thanks.
I see this has a "slippery" mode, but does it have a "deep snow/sand" mode? And if not, is there a mode that would accomplish what that would? I live in ski country, mountains, high altitude, lots of snow, and though I get to the desert and sea level, the above modes I reference or ability in that regard is very important to, so I'd welcome what you know, or anyone who reads this. Solid video by the way. And any idea how big a drop in mpg going from the 35's to the 37's might be? Man that 37 truck is a real beauty.
Gen2 Raptor had a "deep snow/sand" mode. Gen3 has the same mode, but now it's called "Off Road Mode". 35's will get you around 16mpg combined. 37's will get you around 14 mpg combined.
Big changes in 24' . Duel live valve shocks. New front axles which allows for more travel. Quicker front steering. Even has new front A arms. Same horse power..... needs 500 hp bad!!
Bahahahaha how incorrect you are. Love my raptor 37, also a dirtbike racer and side by side racer, truck offroad racer for twenty years. As in sanctioned, actual closed course 250 mile plus offroad racing.
What’s the deal with people and worthless comments? 😂 sheeez let me guess you’ve got no videos you’ve posted yourself or any content contributions on your own platform? Ha

This is such a fun video!! Thank you!! I love how it just floats over everything in its way! 🔥🔥👍

Everything he said is true. Ride in a raptor and let it ruin trucks for u forever
Couldn't agree more. Ive had an f250 and 2 f150s. Just got a raptor and it's unreal

Hell yeah!!! Ultimate dad-mobile 🤘🏼🤘🏼
oh yesss dude! So much fun!
Highly recommend a method 0 offset rim , the Eibach pro lift springs front and back and the Whipple stage 1 kit . Makes a world of difference
oooof a whipple stage one would be rad! Do you have a video or post about that on the gen 3 by chance?

My brother, this car will do the work of the Lord Jesus on the roads and in the Amazon jungle. Its a blessing

Check out my most recent mpg video! Also yes these seats are amazing (non recaro ones)
@@ShelbyPaget What do you mean by "Non recaro"? Are they full leather? Or maybe the bucket seat option I heard about? Other?

Something to be said about that 5 link rear end. Absolutely drives like a luxury car hard to believe when it’s turning 37’s

Best review I seen on a raptor yet but 16:17 you almost hit that tree lmao
Haha I’ll have to run it back to see! 😂 appreciate you watching!
Yess def close! The wide angle makes it look super tight huh!

From what I heard, you need a whole new steering wheel to get the heated steering wheel, plus wiring.

My 2023 raptor does have heated steering. Maybe it was some kind of an option.
Must have been after chips were back in stock ha
Here in South Africa They're quite fond of Rolling these bad boys 🤣🤣🤣
oh sheez! So gnarly!
Have you had any oil leaks? , there's tons of drivers reporting oil leaks underneath
No not yet
If you do you should video it but I hope it doesn't happen bro 👍
@@davidH7890 will do! Where does the oil seem to be coming out of?
That’s on the raptor r not the 3.5
Yea i know just realized it the following day after this vid
BRAPPP
block heater on ur truck?
No Torsen front end, so it basically has an open diff on the front.
It’s got an electric locking function style dif they say
All 37s have torsen fronts
Where did you get the Raptor graphic?
OEM
awesome truck bro! you gonna be at skyline anytime soon?
I think I'll be out there saturday!
The B&O (Ben and Olufsen) sound system is OK, not as good as Harman Kardon in BMW, and far worse than Bowers and Wilkens.
❤❤❤😊😊😊
Would be cool if they installed the 7.3 Godzilla engine and twin turbo and see what happens
CAFE
Lmao!!!!!! I like that It’s a ford so might have problems lmao
hmm my 18 has a heated steering wheel...
B&O is Bang & Olofsen those are way better quality
My wife’s Volvo still sounds wayyy better for audio 😂 but it’s good
This is not carbon fiber at all.
Doesn’t look it but it def is, wild huh! Ha
I see lots of people mistaking that carbon fiber look on these Raptors though. Beautiful truck for sure Bro! Can’t never go wrong with it.
@@Edward_Monge huh? Haha 😂 it’s carbon package from factory brotha
The Devil 😈 has arrived who can walk along it ,time will tell
Most people watching these videos have never been and know nobody who has ever been "off roading". These "off road" videos are Ford company marketing.

That’s a generalization. I have taken mine and know hundreds more who off-road theirs. Clearly you are just being a hater.
should have gotten the R if you worried about depreciation...Generic truck

The regular Raptor will hold its value just fine doofus
