Some have not due to circumstances, and the youth of today are so intertwined with their cultures they deal with each other as humans and race does not matter other than to celebrate each other's race. Black kids loved "Brave" about a Irish girl, and white kids have loved black culture forever. We even called an era in American history, the Jazz era. The only uniquely American musice form and created by blacks in America.
People talk about the horror of Isis and many of the same people say racism is over blown. Just Google lynching and you will see horrors comparable and beyond what Isis has done. You see people nonchalantly showing young children how they multilated, hung and burned a black person, smiling all the time while pointing at a human body they killed. Most likely all of the multitude of people involved and looking on went to church that week, or even that same day.

Blacks have talked about police abuse for decades and are not believed, now that video evidence is shown the same people who are deniers still say it is not abuse and the person had it coming. It is just like the German people in WWII. They are a great, smart, intelligent people and even though they saw the smoke from factories and heard the reports, because it was not happening to them they thought it could not be true.
