I am a Brit of Jamaican parents and have lived in the US for 40 years. Never felt American though and have clung to my Jamaican/British background. She was never nervous! The stage was her happy place. And quite frankly this was an easy gig for her. You need to listen to more of her songs especially from her first album. Her voice has much more range than this song will allow her to show.
This is the BEST rendition ever! This makes me cry when I watch this, when our country was united, but now it's so divided.
