Easy Chicken Parmesan I Chicken Parm Recipe
Ingredients
For the Sauce:
3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
½ yellow onion, chopped
garlic 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
500 ml (2 cups) crushed tomatoes (tomato puree)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, finely minced
For the Chicken:
1 lb (500g) chicken breast
salt and pepper
½ cup (60g) flour
2 eggs, beaten until frothy
½ cup (50g) bread crumbs
½ cup (50g) parmesan cheese, shredded or grated
3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
For the Topping:
1 cup (100g) mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded
1/4 cup (25 g) parmesan cheese, shredded or grated
2 tbsp parsley or basil, chopped
