I don't think Angela actually cheated in the first movie. I think she realized she had the STD, got treated, and waited on Marcus. Angela is quick on her feet, so her response about having been with another man was at the ready to hurt Marcus like she was hurt.
You know this might be right. Because where was Walter ( I think that’s the name)? It wasn’t addressed past the dinner table, when it really should’ve been a much bigger deal. It really does seem like, as far as viewers, he doesn’t exist.
I assumed this too, I would imagine that she is very on top of her health so as soon as something seemed off, she would go check it out. I think she wanted to embarrass him at the table as much as he had embarrassed her, because Walter never comes up again, and I don’t think Marcus wouldn’t have kept letting her hound him if she was doing the same thing so I’m gonna assume that they had a conversation off screen where she let him know that the Walter thing was just a lick back and that it didn’t actually happen
I don't think he was cheating, but he was evolving into a media personality and was probably feeling good about his success. When you feel good, you move differently.
I didn't appreciate TP's approach to Angela's character. Unlike the 1st movie, Marcus had done NOTHING wrong. Angela was the problem. I think what he should've done was show an example of healthy coparenting. Maybe Angela and Keisha could've grown to become friends? Maybe explore the struggles of alcohol addiction with Angela and show real struggles of withdrawal? Maybe show Marcus being very caught up in work and thus finding himself not prioritizing his family? Instead of taking the first movie drafts and putting it in this movie. I was disappointed because Angela was my favorite character and it was hard to justify her in this movie
@@HeitCheri I also think the comedy would've been more prevalent if Angela wasn't drinking and trying to stay calm in situations such as the fan girls. Just imagine Angela trying to keep a polite demeanor 🤣🤣
Even though I agree with just about everything, I do think there’s small details hinting at Marcus doing things. Such as coming home late and nearly never communicating or reassuring Angela. She clearly cares but doesn’t know how to cope healthily and knows he won’t listen. Which makes her wind up triggered overall. Then with Marcus even disregarding this in front of his friends by oversimplifying their problems with just being wanting make-up sex says a lot about his mentality.
Angela is not a drunk. She’s written as a functional alcoholic. The reason you wouldn’t see her tipsy and falling all over the place is because her drinking is so consistent that her body now relies on it & it does contribute to her baseline. Functional alcoholics often have heightened states of emotions whether that’s happy, sad, or angry. I think this is what the movie was trying to portray …. Albeit they don’t do a great job at showing the impacts of her drinking aside from the fact that later Marcus mentioned it.
They're the "healthiest" couple, but they are still extremely toxic. Angela especially because they're both unfaithful but Angela is also physically and verbally abusive. She's always looking for something to be mad about😂😂😂
I kinda wish the girls at least reminded Angela to own up to her mistakes and admit that she can be wrong. But then again, the only woman that knows how to actually say something is Angie herself.
I honestly feel like Tyler Perry rushed through all the couples scenes in part 2 to get to Pat and Gavin’s scenes and his and Diane’s scenes. Those were honestly the main plots in the movie to me. I feel like he didn’t know how to advance Angela and Marcus’ relationship in part 2.
Angela and Marcus are there to make all the other couples feel better about themselves and provide a distraction from their own problems. As you guys said, in their socioeconomic class transparency is dis-encouraged (especially by Patricia), and Marcus and Angela are the most willingly transparent couple in the group. So having someone that’s so vocal (and unhinged)is entertaining, but they can also sigh in relief because ‘at least we’re not that bad’. This is why the group, especially the men make ‘jokes’ at Angela’s expense.
Angela is portrayed very negatively but I believe her to be very intelligent. However in this movie Tyler severely dumped her character down especially at the end of the movie when they made her the butt of the joke when thought a text message was a phone call, trying to answer it portraying her as stupid, That's the writing I've totally blame the writing.
I agree 100%. I said on the last video that I thought that Tyler spent this movie trying to outdo the last one- which is why so much of the characterisation feels off. In the other film the comedic sources were Terry and Angela- but Terry was the comedian whilst Angela was the joke. In this this film, in order to one up the last one, he makes her completely irrational, and she becomes the but of everyone’s jokes, even Troy.
As a former NFL player, Marcus undoubtedly was used to a lot of fame and notoriety. After the injury and his fall from grace it was a blow, only made worse after Angela became the main breadwinner. She was on him nonstop to get a real job and pay some bills and when he started working again, in a job geared towards his level of expertise, they were both feeling some kind of way. He regained his manhood and Angela started seeing him as a teenager who thought he was grown snd starting to "smell himself ", as the old folks used to say, especially since he was staying out late sometimes. Also, many people who excel in a particular area of academia may come up short with other things, like empathy and diplomacy, coping skills, etc.
I may be a horndog but Angela and Marcus honestly feel sexualized in their dysfunction. I think that’s actually why Marcus mentioned and one of their biggest issues is cheating. Idk if it’s by design on Tyler Perry’s end or I’m reading something else? It definitely made sense when you guys posted they used to date. They have a very intense chemistry. I love Angela because she feels like the most genuine friend. She might be a questionable wife but she is a STAUNCH friend.
I actually didn't think Sheila was out of line when she was speaking to Angela at the restaurant. She also made a point where she said if you are at a chemically induced state you should reconsider your actions I agree with her. Supporting my theory that Angela is an alcoholic
I don't think Marcus is cheating in this movie, but he was acting very suspicious throughout. You did make a great point about him just wanting his privacy and that not being a reality because of the infidelity He inflicted on their relationship in the past
Hmmmmm. Idk if i think Angela is Jealous of Markus.. i always felt like she fears his sense of self confidence & desirability.. Because she doesn't trust him with it.. Because he's a Cheater. So she doesn't trust him 'feeling himself'.. cuz when he 'feels himself', he cheats. 😭
Angela and Marcus remind me of the “and we’re still together” skit from in living color. Which I feel like they’re the most realistic and loving couple in the film. I don’t think Angela is a drunk they’re two people who grew up in a certain environment and stay true to where they’re from especially Angela. They’re just real
I don’t think Angela and Mike ever messed around. TBH, if my homegirl had a “man” that was constantly belittling her in front of me (because let’s be real, that didn’t just start in the first movie), blatantly cheated/cheating on her and just being an overall asshole to her, I wouldn’t have too many kind words to say to him either. And plus she probably didn’t have an issue with him at first, her opinion of him may have just changed overtime due to observing what was going on with her friend 🤷🏾♀️
She is acting the way she is because his success has brought out her insecurities. She feels like he doesn't need her anymore so he might leave her. So like she always does, she goes after him like bulldog but this time instead of talking down to him by remind him that he has no money and therefore needs her like she did in the first film, she's gaslighting him by making him feel like even though he now has money he's not that important. In my opinion in both situations, it all stems from Angela's insecurities.
💯....she is the only one who will never recognize this fact. Someone like that will never grow, only bring stress or severe mental health trauma to those who choose to deal with them in depth.
Alright Im start the video with a theory and add to it at the end. The conflict between Angela and Marcus is most likely control and independence. Because Marcus has a job, small scale fame and even has redeemed his past affairs he feels like he deserves a little independence from being under Angela's thumb for so long. But Angela afraid of that small amount of independence, but not totally in the wrong. After rewatching both movies and listening to the retrospective of the first film I think Angela treated Marcus poorly as a means of control. But not because she is controlling in nature, but believes without that control Marcus may cheat again. I think if the affair never took place she wouldn't be so hellbent on keeping tabs on Marcus as well as tearing him down whenever he gets the smallest amount of praise. And the drinking may be a way to cope with possible anxiety created from trying to maintain some sort of high ground above Marcus. Because she doesn't treat her friends the same way if she views them as equals. Which is way it was conflict on sight the moment Mike showed up without Shiela in part one. Otherwise she treats everyone else roughly the same. Even the newcomer Troy. Hell she's downright pleasant to him. Now as the movie goes on and she believes Marcus is at it again her aggression kicks into high gear and her need to see Marcus' phone and he alcohol consumption increases. While its played for laughs what we may be seeing here is Angela in the midst of a relapse. Not only in alcohol but in behaviors she swore she would work on. That being said its foolish to think changes like that happen overnight or even after a year. Maybe she was doing fine for a little while and then Marcus getting the job made her buckle. So while I definitely think she's in the wrong for her actions, i do have sympathy for Angela.
Angela is a drunk. At the end of the movie, Marcus says for them to work she has to stop drinking. That implies that she always drinks. I'm not sure if it's the first movie or this one
I swear I wait for yall to drop videos like people wait in line for new jordans 🤣 I'm so happy I found this channel. And the longer the videos, the better for me. Thank you!
Y'all could really teach a college class on these movie analysis the way you both thoroughly break each character down brick by brick down to the core.
I Absolutely agree! Heit and Cheri!! 😂❤ Also their potential is something to the effects of not just speaking on these characters and how you know things are just not adding up and we're having this discussion about just taking the different look of what we're being presented with. Beyond I guess taking that face value as we used to do. but now we have a platform books are coming together from all over the world a different views cuz we're no longer separated from each other due to lack of technology years ago! Thank you technology! They'd not only do a whole college courses but, there will be some actual rewriting, re-casting, reshooting those parts that we believe really would have driven the message in the direction it was supposed to go. we wouldn't have to reshoot we would do voiceovers in their caricatures❤ of these people's performances so we wouldn't have to reshoot we would just have dubbed the whole Newly cooked up script/lines Iol
This is my last comment lol. In my opinion Angela’s life is marked by instability, which is why she is so paranoid and controlling. Just when things are going right, something always goes wrong- she grows up in the ‘ghetto’ (known for its instability), and college is her way out BUT: 1.Meets Marcus, but her and Keisha end up pregnant at the same time. 2. Moves forward, graduates, but she can’t find a job. 3. Starts her own business, but Marcus gets injured, loses his job. 4. He is unable to find another job, so she becomes the breadwinner - this comes with a social stigma that is only made worse by her super successful friend group. 5. Marcus cheats on her with Keisha, who they must still maintain a relationship with. 6.Marcus gets a job, but her business starts to fail. The constant disappointment would make anyone crazy. People see her behaviour as a means of controlling Marcus specifically, but she acts this way with several people in the movies. Thus I think that lashing out is a mix of her upbringing + her way of channeling her frustrations, and her paranoia is her way of maintaining control- expecting disappointment makes her feel like she controls it. Also Angela looks crazy because her reactions are big, but Marcus definitely does little things to drive her insecurities: lying about Terry being his bodyguard (why?), not sharing the password (why?), the late nights, the lipstick on the shirt, the secret phone. He definitely makes it hard for her to trust him. Finally, this is an aside- in the play, Mike actually ends up married to Trina and they come to the retreat together. Do you think Tyler should have kept this part in the movie?
I think the point of this scene was that she has been in such a manic state for so long that she is missing the obvious. The writers are trying to convey that she has analysis paralysis she has been consuming so much info now that her mind is no longer able to see the pattern its overlooking. Her mind feels like it has sufficiently figured it out so now its default is that he is cheating, So now her mind won't even allow her to realize things that she is overlooking because its fully convinced it already know the answer.
Lol I already knew " I want the password" was going to be the end of the video comment 😂😂😂😂😂 I loved this commentary another banger but I think Angela and Marcus is that familiar black couple that most families have were they're always arguing but never leave each other alone 😂
I want the password! Okay… so, I don’t know if Marcus was actually cheating or not, but that second cell phone definitely didn’t make Marcus look good either. Although they (the friend group) tried to make Angela look like the problem AGAIN in this film, I thought she was the best friend and person in this entire movie. Yes, she was over the top at times, but she wasn’t wrong. Everyone else were spineless, especially when it came to Mike crashing their vacation. I will have more to say about this in the couple’s breakdowns, but I will say that I strongly disliked Patricia’s character in the first film… I hated her in the second film. She was terrible to Gavin and I just wanted to hug him.
Great commentary as usual, Tyler Perry is writing prototypes, that exist just not in mass numbers, the reason Angela is fixated on confirming Marcus's constant infidelity is so that she can hold it over his head , in the first film Angela held his lack of career or ambition while she was already complaining about his cheating but her bigger fixation was his not having a job of his own not pulling his own weight, Angela is a bully and she needs to have something to hold over him. Angela is the female version of Mike , Mike is trifling but he's very transparent only difference is he does not care to be judged for his actions but he was to Sheila what Angela is to Marcus . Marcus's true sin is moving in a suspicious manner that would give her reasons to justify her behavior. Sadly these characters as you said have no development so with no true development you can not give them true progression in their individual journeys . Think of how Perry paints his character a private practice Dr who is madly in love with his wife who doesn't appreciate him or isn't in absolute awe of his success instead she is pursuing her own. Patricia is a therapist who failed at her own marriage bc she couldn't communicate her feelings with her husband while I acknowledge no one is perfect including myself but you can't help others heal emotionally if you can't even acknowledge or address your own issues. While it's a startling reality it's a story built on faulty foundation due to underdeveloped characters with no realistic progression bc the idea of us being free to make mistakes is that we can also course correct. Thank you. Awesome video I enjoy your takes
Regarding the “your older than my dad” I think that could have been a slight dig at terry for him mentioning “we’re married”. As a 23yr old now. I would definitely say that if he assumed or figured I was being a groupie.. my thoughts would be like “um yeah your the same age as my dad” like I’m not a groupie I’m a genuine fan🤣 lol. I definitely think Angela is a bit of a drunk definitely! Listen the password thing, is something that is very touchy subject.. but in my own personal experience you don’t go looking because eventually you gone find what you looking for.
Angela was in the mindset that Marcus needs her more that she needs him when he wasn’t contributing, now that he is contributing and possibly making more than her she knows he has a way out, he can afford another place and leave her. She would rather push him away than be vulnerable and have a healthy conversation. But if she is worried he can cheat again, she should just leave.
I want the password: I really think he changed his ways after the first movie. However - as you said -I think he has a responsibility to adhere to certain things to rebuild the trust since he contributed to its destruction.
In hindsight it seems like it’s the couples that are always arguing like Marcus and Angela that are in it for the Longhaul. It’s like they both care deeply about each other but the form of communication is ehh. And then the other couples barely communicate because they’re so enamored in their jobs.
Angela's friends dogg her out and mock her all in the pretence of giving her advice and being concerned. Shes there pouring her heart out about how Marcus is treating her of late (being late, talking back, talking about how he's doing better than her and making more money " that could be why Angela lashes out and yells at him. She's telling them what she's going through and they're making it seem like its all in her head she's jealous. Her man was gaslighting her with the password situation and her friends didn't pay her any mind. She really is there as the ghetto ratchet friend and wife.
Angela and this password. Insecurity. she is worried he found a better, less confrontational, nicer woman to cheat with. Her own insecurities got her acting stupid as hell
@@HeitCheri I live here. I am from Zimbabwe but I grew up in Botswana. We just came out of a hectic winter season and now it's hotter than fish grease 🤧🤧🤧. Ask away 😁😁😁
Angela ain't leaving Marcus. She needs him to be toxic with her. They won't leave each other. They're both toxic All Angela was gonna do with the info(Password) is keep being toxic but with new information.
Keep in mind, this is my comment BEFORE watching the full video. In this film, I don’t believe that Marcus was cheating on Angela or vice versa. I believe that Angela hadn’t let go of her power trip from previously being the breadwinner in the 1st film, mixed with old feelings with Marcus cheating in the past (he was a pro football player so best believe, he’s cheated on Angela multiple times). That’s why she doesn’t trust him. Now that Marcus is the breadwinner and his attitude has changed, Angela probably saw behaviors from when he was playing pro football
Y'all really got me feeling a type of way about how they doing Angela in these movies... Like why she gotta get ashes thrown on her?! It added nothing to the movie and low-key gives humiliating a Black woman just to be doing it. #DoNotLike
a thought about tipping conversation i must say as they were vacationing in the carribean person, as a jamaican, tipping is a BIG thing. you have to tip all the time everywhere. even if it’s a high class hotel, the workers aren’t paid high wages and cost of living in these countries are high so leaving a tip is greatly appreciated! 😇
I think the agent who said that he is the same age as her father mentioned that part possibly because Terry mentioned that they were married early on in the conversation so maybe naturally it came out of her mouth as I'm not trying to get with you at all due to the fact that he's definitely the same age as her father
She wasn’t going to leave Angela used his cheating as a means to treat him the way she does. I understand Marcus was a habitual cheater at some point but we can’t deny the fact she is emotionally abusive.
Oooooh ! 😭😂.. Heit Know He Messy 😭😂🤣🤣🤣.. Mike & Angela Bay-Yangin Back In Thee Gap 😭😭😭😂😂😂😭😭😭.. whew chile ! 😭.. Yall gone need a series called 'Messy Amnesia ' 😂😂😂.. That is a Great observation AF Tho !!! That Could Be How She peeped the Tea on Trina & Mike Too! Hoes of A Feather 🪽👁️🪽 ! 😭
I think Angela drinks to cope with her problems and also for a confidence boost to go off on Marcus every chance she gets. In my opinion they have a toxic relationship and need real counseling but not from Dr. Pat because she has her own issues lol 😂🙅🏾♀️
Heits cackle at 2:08:59 was endearing. 42 is tachycardia. 65-95 is normal. I do believe Tasha and Shiela were the closest. You put the loud one and the quiet one in the room together they complement each other.
Also I really think Marcus and Angela are both intelligent. But their communication and boundaries as adults as a couple is toxic. We’re seeing that in some of the couples on this film.
9:50 I’ve had a few of my dad’s work friends or old high school classmates try to hit on me and I have always emphasized that they know my dad, ergo they’re old enough to be my father, even if I think they’re handsome. Also, Marcus was a former professional football player until an injury, if memory serves me, so it’s very plausible that he’s still an A-lister when he’s able to put together a sports analysis broadcast, because he still has that recognition factor. Lots of retired athletes are now commentators. 21:22 Old was one of M Knight’s weaker plots for me. It’s down there with The Happening. It’s kinda too random and convenient of an explanation to be ACTUALLY plausible. I’m of the opinion that the best thriller/horror is the stuff that’s possible. When you can imagine it happening to you (like 13/14/15 Cameras or V/H/S or even the Jordan Peele film series), to me, it’s just scarier. 37:25 a lesson I learned from my folks AND my experiences: you usually find whatever trouble you go looking for. I think that’s Pat’s point about trusting your partner. Something as petty as a cell phone password ( or in today’s terms: IG likes or Snapchat convos that disappear) can completely erode all the trust in a relationship. And that’s what makes me think Angela’s alcoholism probably isn’t helped by the fact that her husband had a baby on her. 42:21 lol call it Why Did I Get Married Again with the Rock replacing Gavin. But I think he exhausted this universe by making a spinoff sitcom series with Marcus and Angela. 1:05:34 the beauty of bad sports analogies 😂 I consider it a bit of an art to speak bs. I actually do Angela’s version and people tend to understand. I prefer to purposely mix sports to see if a man was actually listening to what I said. I’ve always took Angela to mean “your friends ain’t listening to you, dude” because he’s done switched to sportscaster mode so often around home at this point, that she can shut him up by shuffling sports on Mr Sports Shuffle 😂 1:16:53 in a bygone era the word ‘dumb’ was somewhat of a diagnostic term. It was along the lines of describing the person’s cognitive abilities. I don’t necessarily think that Marcus is doing the dumb jock trope, because nothing he says really indicates that he’s not clearly articulating himself, but rather that he’s likely unaware of his tell. Tells are compulsive. When someone is lying, there are certainly behavioral cues. He may be genuinely convinced that he can convince people while he’s lying if he can emphasize it lol 1:28:29 he had a baby on her. There’s living proof of his infidelity. I agree that if you’re gonna forgive them, you need to be fair and move on, but… you still have a right to have your feelings. But they still got a spinoff where they stayed together, so… 🤷🏾♀️ lie detector, anyway 🫶🏾
Marcus making football references to explain things was also done in the movie Fences, where Denzel Washington's character was explaining things with baseball references
I think Heit is correct. Angela and Mike definitely have/had something going on. Because I know too many ppl like Angela and Mike who "don't like each other" but whole time are really messing around.. I definitely agree with Heit

Angela can't let Marcus be great. She seems like a woman who just wants someone to complain about. She was so used to insulting him that when the thing she insulted him about was removed, she still found a problem.
Yep, a miserable woman who does not deal with her deep-seated issues. I think she once was stable and purely loved Marcus at some point in the past, probably before he got injured. Her other faces were revealed thereafter.
@@Chloeeezyyy how do we know her mouth didn't cause the cheating? imagine being demeaned all the time by someone who says they love you... The movie doesn't really tell us what came first. We just assume she became that way as a result of the cheating.
Angela and Marcus are like Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl. That couple love to play by humiliating people wit thier money status and influence on the Upper East Side. They love the game but when they go together in a realtionship it got boring. Marcus even said its the make up sex thats keeping it spicy. They had a whole argument at the airport, then in the car to yhe resort then at the house shortly after thar she insitates sex
Angela put too much energy into trying to catch Marcus doing something and worrying about his passcode. When she need to put more energy into being kinder
I don't think he was cheating . He may have felt emasculated in his relationship that getting a little attention from another woman made him feel good but he wasn't cheating.
Definitely lie detector, i think the start of his football career or in college he cheated a few times which set the tone. When he wasn’t “the success man” anymore the only woman really willing to deal with him was his baby momma. So now that he back making money, or becoming success and known again he might be letting it go to his head. Like him “working late” and all of a sudden having two cell phones.
You don't know how happy that makes us!!! We're happy like Missy Ann was when she thought Kizzy was gonna come live at her house and be her personal servant...
9:55 I actually have said this to an older guy in my early/mid twenties. They’re smooth. So smooth that your initial three or four “no thanks 😊” rolls right over his ears/head lol. You have to be a little more “stern” lol.
I'm from Chicago I kno people like Angela n its not the drink it's just the personality example im from the south side but I live out west. Now south side people are considered to b more calm. Where as out west people are more loud n in ur face
You can bring mini alcohol bottles, I do it all the time. Its the one liquid you can bring thru. Don’t think it could be in a flask. But I usually bring 3-4 mini bottles of alcohol thru with me on a flight.
That's Angela n thst man way of showing love is arguing it keep them fresh. Look my granny would do that to sum time people think fusing is showing thst they care n most time they are cause they basically worrying so much bout the other person n how they feel so yes it comes out in form of lil fussing here n there 💯
It would be inferred that a person- Markus-- who is opposite of Angela.. may be able to deal with her, because its possible they have a parent that is More Like Angela.. Or someone prominent in their lives thats like Angela.. Therefore while different.. Angela would be a comforting form of chaos to the person.. && Orrrrrrrr.. The Person-Markus- may feel responsible for Angelas antics.. For instance.. Markus may feel like he's the cause of Angelas emotional instability & drinking. So he feels he has to be the one to deal with it.. like he deserves it.. Orrrrrr. They are secretly like 'Angela'.. They juss dont allow themselves to be externally the same. So they passively live vicariously through her. . Like on the show Girlfriends, "You're the Bitch, I've always wanted to be"-- Joan says to Toni.. & it explains why Joan enables Toni's bs.. cuz she admires it.
Do you think Marcus was still cheating on Angela?
No
No, Angela became insecure once Marcus got his fame.
No
Ionnnn knoooowww. I think he was getting gratification from flirting, Comments Online & Girls in his DM; at the least. 🤡😭😂
I don’t think Marcus was still cheating but Angela was still insecure because of the past

They're the "healthiest" couple, but they are still extremely toxic. Angela especially because they're both unfaithful but Angela is also physically and verbally abusive. She's always looking for something to be mad about😂😂😂

That Last Part Just Made Me Realise So Much About Myself 😮 I Need To Research That
@@badumtiss5288 I'm speaking from my own personal experience.
The last sentence is spot on!
Hey Queen!!!!
@@HeitCheri Heeeeyyyyyy Yaaaallllll !! 🥳👑🥰🤗💝👑
Right on the money👏🏾
It could be self-sabotage due to her narcissistic behavior. Hopefully it doesn't carry over and affect her brand and business.
Angela is a drunk. At the end of the movie, Marcus says for them to work she has to stop drinking. That implies that she always drinks. I'm not sure if it's the first movie or this one
He says that at the end of the first movie.

❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
I think this is the best comment to sum up everything.
😁😂😁
So true...and unhealthy. Normalized craziness.
Yall remember when Angela and Marcus had their sitcom on TBS??
I bust out laughing when Heit said that Mike and Angela had a thing 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Me too!
I honestly think Angela thinks the man is too good for her cus she always thinks he's gonna level up and Leave 😂
Angela and this password. Insecurity. she is worried he found a better, less confrontational, nicer woman to cheat with. Her own insecurities got her acting stupid as hell
At least I got something to watch this evening. Watching from Botswana 😍😍😍

They're both toxic
All Angela was gonna do with the info(Password) is keep being toxic but with new information.
Agreed!
Whats crazy is sandals says not tip but you can tell people want tips, I still tipped and I worked for Sandals!
I think the agent who said that he is the same age as her father mentioned that part possibly because Terry mentioned that they were married early on in the conversation so maybe naturally it came out of her mouth as I'm not trying to get with you at all due to the fact that he's definitely the same age as her father
Angela forgotten that Marcus funded her business in the first movie from HIS football career

I think Angela drinks to cope with her problems and also for a confidence boost to go off on Marcus every chance she gets. In my opinion they have a toxic relationship and need real counseling but not from Dr. Pat because she has her own issues lol 😂🙅🏾♀️
I agree. Yes, get an unknown counselor who gets counseling on themselves regularly too!!!
What would Iyanla have to say about them 🤔
Hey y'all yesss thanks for the shout out in this video. I absolutely love Marcus and Angela's relationship. You hit that on the nose
❤️❤️❤️
I think tp left they’re situation unresolved because Marcus and Angela got they’re own show
Apparently Janet Jackson & Tasha Smith are real life friends, based on the pictures of them in Italy recently.
I thought I was the only one who didn’t like Marcus' constantly using sports metaphors! Makes him seem so dumb 😕
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this one!!!
Hope you like it! ❤️
1:15:13 I work in the OR. Some of those surgeons I work with are questionable. And some are book smart without much common sense.
Heits cackle at 2:08:59 was endearing. 42 is tachycardia. 65-95 is normal. I do believe Tasha and Shiela were the closest. You put the loud one and the quiet one in the room together they complement each other.
32:35 I feel that this film can go either way between a comedic drama or a dramatic comedy, depending on what mood you’re in when you’re watching it.
Without Mike and Angela in this movie I've never would've stuck around to watch no cap
I’ve always took Angela to mean “your friends ain’t listening to you, dude” because he’s done switched to sportscaster mode so often around home at this point, that she can shut him up by shuffling sports on Mr Sports Shuffle 😂
1:16:53 in a bygone era the word ‘dumb’ was somewhat of a diagnostic term. He may be genuinely convinced that he can convince people while he’s lying if he can emphasize it lol
1:28:29 he had a baby on her. There’s living proof of his infidelity. I agree that if you’re gonna forgive them, you need to be fair and move on, but… you still have a right to have your feelings.
But they still got a spinoff where they stayed together, so… 🤷🏾♀️ lie detector, anyway 🫶🏾
Chillleee Patricia and Gavin's video gone be a mess 😭😭😭😭😭
Hahahah "that's like trying ask a duck 🦆 not to swim in water" 😅
😂😂😂
Marcus making football references to explain things was also done in the movie Fences, where Denzel Washington's character was explaining things with baseball references
I think Heit is correct. Angela and Mike definitely have/had something going on. Because I know too many ppl like Angela and Mike who "don't like each other" but whole time are really messing around.. I definitely agree with Heit

This part!!! ❤️
If you’re at the point of risking your partner’s health to find out if they’re cheating, it’s time to just breakup!!
This part!!!
That’s what cheating does
@@Chloeeezyyy how do we know her mouth didn't cause the cheating? imagine being demeaned all the time by someone who says they love you... The movie doesn't really tell us what came first. We just assume she became that way as a result of the cheating.
This was great! I could listen to you two for hours. Thank you so much! ❤
Wow, thank you!❤️❤️❤️
One thing that seemed out of place was Tyler having a wife. He just doesn't give strong husband vibes. I kept hearing Madea.
lol!!! the way yall point stuff out is so funny bc it be stuff we’ve all felt about these movies but couldn’t quite put into words….im screaming 😂😂
Janet transitioned into acting so nicely. She doesn’t get brought up enough when they mention musicians to actors.
You made a great point I didn't even consider all the times I watch this movie, Angela and Marcus weren't offered a drink when they walked in
i want the password. i don’t think he was doing anything wrong but the man needed a new phone lol
The only thing I don't like about the sports metaphor is is he's using it every other sentence and it's annoying.
I WANT THE PASSWORD! 🤣🤣🤣
Angela put too much energy into trying to catch Marcus doing something and worrying about his passcode. When she need to put more energy into being kinder
I’ve been waiting on this one!!! I’m so excited!!
I don't think he was cheating . He may have felt emasculated in his relationship that getting a little attention from another woman made him feel good but he wasn't cheating.
Happens often, yep.
42:36 thats crazyyy and its sounding like part 3 might have a storyline 👀👌🏾😂😂
I am all for you guys talking and roots references 🤣😂💯💯
You don't know how happy that makes us!!! We're happy like Missy Ann was when she thought Kizzy was gonna come live at her house and be her personal servant...
9:55 I actually have said this to an older guy in my early/mid twenties. They’re smooth. So smooth that your initial three or four “no thanks 😊” rolls right over his ears/head lol. You have to be a little more “stern” lol.
Also, I never liked that Angela was so butt hurt and insecure about Marcus possibly cheating on her again like she didn't cheat in the first movie
That part where Angela was saying she checked Marcus' stuff Tyler perry also said that the meet the browns play

Yes. I sorely believe that Angela has an alcohol addiction and should go to rehab, but tasha Smith is selling it
When I was young, I used to say something similar as the gate agent to men, that way they would know I found them to be old.
That's Angela n thst man way of showing love is arguing it keep them fresh. Look my granny would do that to sum time people think fusing is showing thst they care n most time they are cause they basically worrying so much bout the other person n how they feel so yes it comes out in form of lil fussing here n there 💯
Can we a whole agree Tyler perry is bad at weighting complex characters and black ppl.
The metaphors were to replace "U Kno What I'm Saying❗️‼️.".
It would be inferred that a person- Markus-- who is opposite of Angela.. may be able to deal with her, because its possible they have a parent that is More Like Angela.. Or someone prominent in their lives thats like Angela.. Therefore while different.. Angela would be a comforting form of chaos to the person..
&&
Orrrrrrrr..
I like this assessment!
